House was enjoying his donuts and a cup of coffee while silently mocking people that he saw walk by. The cafeteria was pretty busy today and they needed the extra tables and chairs for people to sit so House sat at the biggest table so that no one would want to sit near him. His devious plan worked. There he was sitting in silence when “Hey!” Cuddy scared House. He jumped and Cuddy sat down on the chair next to him. “Jesus! You really shouldn’t do that, you know. You could give someone a heart-attack.” House said still trying to calm his heart down. He checked his pulse. “Sorry.” Cuddy said. Cuddy just sat there and stared out the window. “What do you want? Money? Sorry aint' got none. Spent it all on my last hooker.” House said. “No, I’m fine.” She said and continued to stare out the window. House continued to eat his donut but also stared at her and tried to figure out what she wanted. After a couple of seconds House got tired of trying to figure her out and spoke. “Is there anything you came her to speak to me about?” He asked. Cuddy turned and looked at him. “Oh, sorry. I dazed off a little. Umm, no nothing I can think of that I wanted to talk to you about.” Cuddy said. “Then why are you here?” House asked. “What, I can’t simply hang out with you?” Cuddy said. “Well, you can but you usually don’t. Which is why I am interested.” He said. “Fine, I’ll leave if that’s what you want. I just had nothing else to do and thought that I come hang out with you but I can see that you don’t want me here. So I’ll leave.” She said getting up. House rolled his eyes and grabbed her arm to sit back down. “Stay.” He said. She looked irritated and so House sighed. “Please.” He said with hesitation. Cuddy sat back down and stared at him. She watched him eat and House could feel her stare. Finally House turned to her. “Do you want some?” He asked handing her one of his donuts. She smiled and took the donut. She wasn’t hungry at all but just to be nice she took it. She really had nothing to do and would rather hang out with Wilson but he was dealing with a patient and House was not. “Thankyou.” She said happily. They ate their donuts together. House was very suspicious at this act of kindness. He was especially suspicious because of the act of kindness coming from Cuddy. She tried to make small talk. “So how’s life treating you?” She asked. House looked at her with a questioning face. “I just thought we could use this time to catch up. That’s all.” She said. House was still suspicious but then again maybe she did just want to catch up. “Nothings changed: I’m addicted to Vicodin, I’m in pain when I don’t have Vicodin. There is one change though.” He said. Cuddy rested her chin in the palms of her hands and listened intently. “Hookers performance quality has gone way down so I stopped.” House continued. Cuddy gave a slight smile. “So what’s new with you?” House asked trying to carry on this pointless conversation. Cuddy sat up straight and sighed. “Same ol’ same ol’. Hospital is a wreck but I’m the only one that knows it, I’m a wreck but I’m the only one that knows it, can’t get pregnant, can’t find a decent guy, same ol’ same ol’.” Cuddy said. She kept her wreckage and the hospital’s wreckage under wraps very good because not even House knew. House nodded and leaned back in his chair. He twirled his cane like a baton. Cuddy grabbed his hand so that he would listen to her and stop with the cane. “House? We need to talk.” She said putting his hand on the table. House let her put his hand on the table. Her warmth on him sent electric shocks through his body, he didn’t want it to stop but it did and he was cold again from her absence. “About what?” He asked. “About us.” Cuddy said. She continued. “House, what are we? Are we employee employer or are we friends?…or are we something more?” House listened. He didn’t want to have this conversation but he knew he couldn’t stop it now, so he just sat and listened. Before he could even answer Cuddy continued. “You give me mixed signals. One day you show feelings for me and then when I show feelings for you, you cop a feel and act like an ass. It’s like you are afraid to show your feelings…are you afraid to show your feelings?” She asked. “I don’t know why I do that. I know what I want, I just am afraid to want it.” House said in almost a whisper. “What do you want House?” Cuddy asked. House was looking down at the table. He thought for a moment and then looked up at her. He noticed that she had moved her chair a great deal closer and they were now only inches a part. “I want-” House was cut off…again. “Sorry, hope I’m not interrupting anything am I?” Wilson said. Cuddy looked down at her folded hands and said no. “House, the patient has brain cancer as well as breast cancer.” Wilson said. “Why the hell are you telling me this? I’m not the cancer guy you are.” House said. “I just thought you would want to know.” Wilson said. House got up as did Cuddy. Wilson smiled and walked away. Cuddy turned to face House who was just staring at her. “Pick me up at 8:00 and we will continue this conversation over dinner.” She said. “Don’t be late.” Cuddy added before walking away. House was left standing there. He didn’t know what to do. He hated it when people did that because now he had to take her out to dinner whether he liked it or not. He wasn’t totally bummed about the whole thing. He was actually kind of anxious. He went back up to his room. After staring at mindless shit on the Internet he had to talk to someone: Wilson. “Hey.” House said barging into Wilson’s room. He found Wilson and the brain and breast cancer girl making out.
This is my Huddy poem...I dont really like my last stanza... :) but oh well...if you are true huddy fans, you'll understand what im talking about...
HUDDY POEM
Blue on blue,
Sea on sky.
They're not together,
I wonder why.
Short on tall,
Opposites attract.
They love each other,
And that is fact.
Both so arrogant,
Yet, both so cute.
No wonder their relationship,
Is hard to fluke.
Gregory House,
and Lisa Cuddy.
So perfect together,
They make Huddy...
pretty gay... :P

Okay, this poem is basically in Cuddy's POV kind of to House. I wrote it to be kind of Cuddy's personal thing, but of course, it turned into Huddy. My first article on this spot AND Huddy poem, so please tell me what you think! It's short and might be a bit confusing at first, but here it goes;
Love.
And that's all I ever wanted.
How did I get here?
Just crying in an empty room
Once again a vacant world to me
I'm hurting and I'm sure you know
I hope, and that's just what i do
That the world could be, just be
What i want it to, another happy ending
Which we both know it won't be
Just hold me, so for a second
I could pretend it is
Could pretend it can
Pretend it could be
And maybe I could love you
And pretend i didn't know
That it was one of the few things
I was missing.
I know it kind of sucks, but it's my first and what do you expect?
