koch89 I am sorry but i have to disagree with some of this. GY IS THREATNING FANS AND THE SPOILER SOURCES! HE JUST CAME ON HERE AND THREATEND US and Implied we weren't true fans because we read and discuss spoilers!!! HE also blocks people who are usually very sportive and nice to him just because they might tweet something to him that he might disagree with. I wrote him on twitter in a nice way explaining why he might have a spoiler problem and why the fans are unhappy. Also before this happend i warned him! Something like this might happen and wished him luck dealing with the fans and he still blocked me!!! Now i am not suggesting that we burn pictures or anything but i do think people have the right to express there feeling on the matter! It important! if they want to keep their jobs they have to listen to the fans once in a while too! Plus they brought this on to themselves! For the past year they have been, screwing with us and lying to us! then they bring on this pethtic luddy arc after pissing off a boat load of people with last years season finale episode. I also must add that it not just the huddy fans they are pissing off ,but they are also pissing of the hameron fan, Chameron fans, the cameron fans and the cuddy fan base. i also think some hudson fans are also pissed off as well! that pretty much 80% of there fan base they have pissed off right there! The only fan base i don't see being pissed off is hilson and boreteen! who knows they might be next! I love the writers don't get me wrong but this is really OCC what have been writing lately. The luddy arc is like a jump the ship moment along with the fact that the writers got rid of cameron which was also another jump the shark moment as well. And for some god known reason they want to keep jumping the shark by prolonging this luddy arc which does not make sense at all when nobody likes it except maybe few couple hundred fans. You can bash me all you want but i think they are not the one who have been showing the fans respect and the fans are fed up. I know i am! the games are old and it time to end them. I fight for Huddy in a respectful way because i love it so much and i think it one of the great things that gives this show it magic! so thanks for listening and I am sorry if offended anybody but that is my opinion and i am sticking by it.

yunioshi @koch89, besides the fact that i think you missed the point of this entirely, what do you mean GY came on here and threatened us? Also, you have to take into consideration that the online fans/fandom make up a very little percentage of the viewers, but they do make up the loudest and most passionate fans.

koch89 It wasn't on this thread! It was on one of the other fanpop sites and i do get the point! I wrote him nicely i was blocked he said because we were friends with a mole we we were not true fans of the show basicly and then the other day he threatend anybody who was assocated with the mole on his twitter account! He also protroling the fox website! Now i understand he wants to capture the mole but trying to do it publicly has caused a lot of fas to get nasty with each other. It kind of feels like a Mole witch hunt with a little bit of a House Revloutinary war thrown into it. The TPTB are the birtish. the fans that are ratting out the our sources are the loyalist ...some might also say that people who says that we can't be unhappy with the show and tell the writers that were unhappy might be considered loyalst too and then you got the rest of the pissed off fans as the contianental army with the spoiler sources that can be either the french or the minute men. .....now in response your fandom comment i will say this many fans like my self are members are of many ships on the show. I know i am and I think it kind of hard not be a of some ship because ships and medical mystries are what make up the show so i might have to disagreee with you there as well. I personally will say i am a House fan, a cuddy fan, a Hilson fan( I know they aren't going to get together but i like their relationship so i support it a bit) , Cameron fan, Huddy fan, Chameron fan a Hudson fan, A fourrteen fan (even though i think they get way to much screen time) and finally a HUDDY Fan. so as you can see it quite possible to be a fan of many ships so i wouldn't say that its as small of a percentage as you say. ................listen i should probbly not gotten so pissed off but i am really frustrated and house is one of my favorite shows on tv. I feel what they are doing is dystroying the show and i don't want that to happen. so i am trying to protect it. It's not funny anymore and there is no sexual tension which is one of the things i liked best of the show. yunioshi the point I was trying to make, is that they are doing their jobs. they are trying to preserve the integrity of their show and they DON'T OWE YOU, ME, OR ANYONE ELSE ANYTHING. Except that they try to put out quality work consistently which they are trying to do (in their opinion [and mine] even if it isn't yours). as for the fans, that's exactly my point. House has how many fans world wide?? MILLIONS. there are 2000 fans on this spot. lets say that all 2,000 of these fans are completely 100% active. lets say that we're dealing with only 1,000,000 fans. the fans in this fandom account for only .002% of total fans. that's what i'm trying to say by we make up a very small number of the fans. but we're the loudest and we talk about it the most, we are the most passionate. We are also in the minority. Most people outside of fandom would like to probably see House with Cuddy but 1. their life doesn't dependent on it. 2. they are indifferent and 3. many feel that it's detracting from the story. OR many people feel that House being with Cuddy is jumping the shark. (and don't accuse these people of being hams, or hilson, or whatever, most people don't ship anything exclusively or at all) that is their opinion which they are entitled to as much as anyone else. I don't see how he threatened anyone who isn't breaching their contract with the show. This is a legal issue for them. this is their issue. he didn't say anything to the people who discuss the spoilers once they're leaked, he's only asked us to be respectful of his job and to not support the mole. He's doing his job, HE'S DOING HIS JOB. this isn't a game for him, this isn't how he gets pleasure out of his leisure time, this is how supports himself and his family and this is how he makes a living. at least respect that.

koch89 For the record as you said we have a right to say what we want and we also have the right to complain to the writers and the directors if we should choose so. You got to remember part of their job is to make the fans happy as well. if the fans don't like something they lose veiwers that a simple fact! if viewers don't watch the show that means the rating go down and the show gets canceld. so yes it is there job to make fans happy. so in some sense they do owe us because we support their jobs by watching the show! and if you go on the fox board their are lot of people who say they are not a part of any ship and say they don't like this luddy arc. so it not just shippers just making a point here. I have been respectful an i expressed my opinion to GY and he still blocked me so i would say that a bit rude wouldn't you? also i don't trust the writers of this show or the producers because they screw you over and lie to you time and time again. why should we trust them now? what changed? personally i think they are getting what they deserve. I will respect the writers but i will not keep quite about my unhapiness with the story arc, I also am insulted by the fact that you don't think i respect him. I do respect him personally and for what he does, i even said that in my first comment but i think he handling this all wrong he making the situation worse not better. there are other comments were he thretened fans around the net so i am not lying about that. this is an internal problem not an outside problem so they should deal with it internally. koch89 Here a question for you and i want you to answer honestly do you like this story arc and if you knew who the mole was would rat them out? It might be a breach of contract what they did and it might not be right but they came out and risked their jobs to give us info and i respect them for having the balls to do that at least. they knew this was going to upset us and so they warned us and i am greatful for that because the impact of this arc was not as bad it just really awful to watch.

yunioshi In the original post, I said that you have every right to be angry, I said that you have every right to use web posts as an outlet for your anger. I'm not telling you that you can't or shouldn't feel what you are. I am simply asking people to stop sending the hate mail to the show runners, cast, writers, etc. You're right, the viewers have all the power, if you don't like it don't watch. That is my point. If you're not happy with the show, don't watch it, complaining and hating the people who create the show isn't going to solve your problems with the show. They are here to put out quality material and if the fans don't like it well then that is the consequences, they lose viewers but it's not their job to comply to our every whim or receive direct insults and unjust criticism because they are just trying to do their job. What I've been trying to say is that their job is to put out quality work which is what they are trying to do. Again, the online fanbase is a small disproportionate picture of the total fanbase and the total fanbase's moods and with the show. So while online fans may be unhappy with the show the real opinion deciders of this will be how many people tune in next week. Which is the point I'm trying to make, if you want to really impact the show, stop watching to show your disappointment instead of directly harassing/insulting the people providing you with this content. If I got the impression that you didn't respect him, it would probably stem from comments such as "they deserve what they are getting." I do like the arc. Does that mean that I don't support my ship, of course it doesn't. It means that I'm looking at this as an opportunity for our ship and if not that then a new and interesting plot line in which I'm interested in seeing how the characters develop from this. The mole: Case in point: they risked their job, they brought this upon themselves. There was a breach in contract which has real legal ramifications. I don't respect them for that but I appreciate that their motives were initially good. And as for this being an internal issue they have tried repeatedly to make their set more secure and they can't because of this mole. Which is why they are turning to us the fans. Would I turn the mole in? I think I might. Not the first time, but they were asked by the show runners to stop and this is a clear violation of their contract, it's against the law; and while I don't think this should be a general rule, they had many opportunities to stop and they persisted and for the integrity of the show, the fans should intervene and help the show out.

koch89 what i was meaning by that comment was that I believe that the main reason i think these people are giving us info(mole who ever it is) is because they know that aussiello and TPTB like to screw and lie to the fans. A lot of fans were really mad last season after what happend with the season finale. So i think they took pitty on us and didn't want us to suffer from anymore of there games. I was not personally attacking GY i was more reffering to katie jacobs and david shore. GY is just doing what he told. although he did say some provoking things like asking for a ship name for house cuddy and lucas. he also went on to say that if you live by spoilers you die by spoilers. and some other things like that but i don't hold that to him personally as much. I maybe am a little upset at him for not respecting me when i wrote to him about what might be causing this problem and why some of us were not happy and he blocked me because he did not like what i said even though i was nice to him. i even thanked him at the end for listening. I was not even support the mole for godsakes. A lot of other people are getting blocked as we for expressing their opinions nicely. personally i don't think it our battle but it is kind of sad what happening i must admit.

Belle0308 Just my thoughts. I have done some thinking about this today. First of all, I can't really express fully my saddness with the level of complete immaturity I have seen on not really the Huddy site, but some of the other HOUSE related sites the last couple of weeks. What I just read over on the site that was referred to on this thread was unreal. I have even read things were people say some pretty off the wall stuff about someone if they don't agree with their way of thinking. To the point where ...well...I am just letting it go at that. I don't think that anyone is actually entitled to spoilers. In fact, I sometimes catch myself reading them and realize that they are what they say, the SPOIL things sometimes. I also actually agree with GY that if you choose to live by spoilers you might die by spoilers or whatever it was. If I choose to read a spoiler, I take the risk of becoming unhappy over what I read, too excited about something that might not be real, or dweling on something that I can't do anything about. It's no one else's fault but mine. Yunioshi's post about two up from this was right on the money in many respects. The people that write, produce, create in any form including directing this show have a LOT on their hands. Their job is tough enough just keeping the show on the air so that we CAN see what happens. One thing I learned way back when I tried to save a quality show from being cancelled was that networks make a lot of money off of new shows and not as much from long run shows. This is why shows get cancelled left and right and very, VERY few last as long as our beloved HOUSE. I guess I just feel they deserve more respect than what I have seen displayed lately. I guess because I mostly just watch the show and then come here now and then to see what is going on, I didn't realize the extent of this mole issue. I am trying to look at things a little differently and challenge some of my thoughts. For one thing, I wonder how different last years season finale would have been had I not read ANY spoilers?? Maybe the build up from the spoilers clouded my judgement on what was going on? I can't go back now and know how different it might have been. Again I just want to say that even if I am not wild about different turns of events at times, I don't think a show where House and Cuddy hopped in the sack every week would last very long either. I think maybe its time for some of the fans to just chill a bit and enjoy the show as it happens. I really HOPE that this doesn't offend anyone. I am a little tired but what I have been reading the last hour has really got me shaking my head.

Myrtyleg I too read what was referred to in the previous post above. It saddened me more than I can say. It's like civil war's breaking out in the House community: Hamerons v Huddys, Huddys v Huddys and now all this mole stuff too. Part of me feels that TPTB are handling this in the wrong way. It's not fair to bring fans into an internal security problem that they should be handing themselves. Spoilers and leaks are par for the course - it's not a new phenomenon. Close down your sets and leave us out of it GY! Personally, I'm grateful to the mole for taking a risk and giving fans information for storylines they know will be unpopular; at least it's given me a chance to steel myself for them. And if you ask me, I think this entire issue started with the leaking of Jennifer Morrison's departure. Clearly they weren't ready for that to be made public and instead, it got leaked and they've been on the backfoot ever since. I think that's what they're really pissed off about. However, that should be their headache - not ours.

lifestinks2000 I have to say that I am thankful that there have been spoilers about what will be happening in the upcoming episodes because this season looks to be very disappointing if you are a Huddy. My biggest problem is when GY and TPTB try to pass off episodes as being Huddy or Cuddy fans liking it when it is the opposite. GY said that episode 7 and on would be about Huddy and episode 14, Cuddy fans would not be disappointed. I am glad that I know that this will not be true and I know beforehand what to expect especially with this season. The reason why fans are angry is because they are getting misinformation from TPTB about that season. Many people have been watching since season 1. We had to go through the hallucination sex at the end of season 5. I, like some other people, were hoping that there would be some progression of the Huddy relationship this season. DS said that Huddy's relationship would be explored deeper and GY's trying to promote this season as Huddy, when this has all been a lie. I think if they had been truthful and just said that there would be no Huddy, then fans wouldn't be as angry. It's when you feel that you are being screwed over by TPTB that makes you angry. Also, TPTB should have handled the mole issue internally instead of trying pit the fans against each other. You have people ratting each other out, and people just point fingers at anybody to get attention. I understand that they are mad about the mole issue, but them getting the fans involved in their internal problem makes this a big fat joke.

People come her because they like to talk to other fans about what going on. it great we have new people coming on fanpop and i don't think it their sole purpose to bash TPTB i think they just want to be able to express their opinions and feeling with others who might understand them because they are also fans themselves too. It hard being frustrated with a tv program and not being able to express it. it not something you usually bring up in normal conversations with people unless the people are also die hard fans of the show too.

I am a veteran of internet games and I think it would be naive to believe that there are not a certain amount of people who have joined this site as well as some of the other sites for the sole purpose of causing problems. I have seen that happen on every message board and fan site that I have ever belonged too. I have even seen it on message boards that you would never guess such a thing would happen. I am not going to name who I think those people are, but if they are guilty of coming on here with shady intent, they know who they are. If someone is on here because they are truly frustrated and with a tv show and want to talk to other fans about it, the proof will be in what they say over time. If you aren't one of those people, don't let it bother you. Just be aware that not everyone has the same intentions. I would just hate to see some really great fans scared off by some foolish games.

koch89 I am not one of them i have been here since november 2008 so i have been around for a while. i like talking to people on here. I think the writers are great i just not happy with the direction they are taking this arc. I also can assure you i am not someone who send hate mail to the writers or the directors. As i have said many times I only tweeted a message to GY in a nice way expressing my concern about the show direction and my thoughts about the mole sitiuation. I am a little frustrated with TPTB with the way they have treated the fans over the past year with their games and the misleading information they give out in interviews. I don't have any friends that watch house around me so i come on her to express my frustration with people who might understand what i am feeling. i also come on here to make friends, get news and just chat. I personally just want to get along with everybody and stop this civil war we are having with each other. I might dissigree on somethings with you and yunioshi but that would not stop me from trying to be your or yunioshi friend. it good to to get and hear other people opinions as long as it kept in check. Sadly people have forgotten that lately with all that been happening.

Myrtyleg Belle0308, the only game I play is Monopoly. I am not here to cause trouble or unrest. But I am frustrated and I am venting a little and I wanted to do that with people that might understand how I feel (lifestinks2000 and koch89 have said it all for me). That's why I de-lurked. I have taken great pleasure in my lurker status, reading the wonderful articles and stories and enjoying the debate. But, things have happened recently that have concerned me. My views about the mole situation might not be popular but I will stand by them. We are all free to engage in friendly chat and if we disagree, I hope it's with civility. But as I said, my main reason for de-lurking is because I need to get some things off my chest in a place where people might understand where I'm coming from - even if they don't agree with me. As it turns out, there are some like-minded people expressing similar views and I find that a little comforting. In the meantime, I'll get back to steeling myself for Monday's episode...
