Chapter 2
That night, Cuddy came to her house after a long and depressing day at PPTH. She was somewhat confused by all that had happened today with House in the morning. She slowly opened the door, took a deep breath and sat on the couch. Her thoughts were interrupted her thoughts were by Lucas.
Cuddy, are you ok? , Lucas said worried.
Uhh... yeah, I’m fine;
she told him and giving him a tender kiss on the lips. Then, she walked away
were Rachel was and grabbed her.
How was my baby girl?,
Cuddy said holding Rachel on her arms. Rachel giggles.
Lucas walked all the way, through where she was and said, “I made dinner, do you want to eat?”
“I think I’m not hungry at all Lucas, I’m really tired. So, I’m going to bed,” she demanded.
Good Night Lucas” she said.
“Good Night Lisa” he said.
She turned around and heads to Rachel’s bedroom, Lucas was staring at her the entire time being somewhat curious about her behaviour.
“She must be really tired”, he thought. And he headed to the living room.
Cuddy prepared Rachel. Put on her pyjamas, gave her a kiss on her forehead and places her on her crib.
Then, she went to her bedroom, took a relaxing shower, brush her teeth and put
on her cloth, just some normal Victoria Secret short and a t-shirt. After all
that, she falls asleep immediately. Meanwhile, Lucas was watching TV turned it
off and got prepared for bed; he quietly got in and falls asleep.
Cuddy is sleeping when she feels that someone is hugging her tight. She thought it was Lucas but when she opened her eyes, she saw that the man hugging her was House. She immediately went in shock and wanted to get out of bed but she couldn’t House was really closed to her body and she didn’t want to wake him up. She didn’t remember what happened that night, how could House be on her bed and totally naked, that didn’t make sense at all. She really need to get out of bed, quietly she starts to move her arms slowly. Instead, House hugged her even tighter and what Cuddy feared happened House wakes up.
“Hey Cuddy, are you trying to escape after all we’ve done last night? “He said moving away from her to the other side of the bed.
“What we’ve done last night,” she asked worried.
“Yeah you know couple stuff, like play a while with little Greg, the one that drives you insane” he smirked.
What House? Asked Cuddy stoned.
“You don’t remember at all? Well if you don’t I can make you remember what we’ve experienced together last night like your moans, the excitement of having little Greg inside you.” He said moving towards her body.
“House wait! I can’t do this I’m with Lucas now, I can’t be unfaithful,” she said.
“But you were unfaithful last night, that explains why we’re naked on your bed”, he said.
“But I don’t remember anything but still looking us naked makes me realize that obviously something happened between us. And it can’t happened again House”, she said standing up from her bed with the blanket around her.
“Cuddy wait!” House stopped her and grabbed her arm.
“I love you, and I want you with me all the time. Just don’t go away please, not right now”, he said staring at Cuddy’s eyes.
She melted at House’s words and the way he was being sincerely with her.
“House I love you too, I’ve always had and I’m not living you,” she said moving towards him.
“Great! So, do you want to remember what we did last night?” he asked her with a sexy tone touching her face.
“Of course I want House.
I’ll not waste another night without you, I want to be with you,”
Cuddy didn’t finish talking when she felt House’s lips on hers. It was a slowly passionate kiss. Then, he moved on to her neck, and started kissing it, and biting it.

Cuddy was moaning, she knew he was driving her insane. He
began moving down placing light kisses through all her body.
Cuddy felt little Greg growing and whisper ,”Someone is waking up, isn’t?”
Uhh.. Yeah he is waking up, but wait until he’s full awaken. And yet wait for the best this is not finished, is just the beginning, he whispered.
Suddenly Cuddy wakes up again, but this time was real not a dream. She stared at the man besides her and saw that it was Lucas. She got disappointed, She wanted that instead of Lucas that man was House with all her heart. She just lay down again and immediately she falls asleep again hoping she could finish her dream with House.
A few hours later…
House woke up suddenly due to a horrible nightmare. He dreamt of everything he did and guilt’s filled his mind. He saw that after what he did, Cuddy got married to Lucas. He stood up quickly all sweat and anxious and headed to the bathroom. After pouring some cold water to wash his face he looked inside the mirror "Do you want Cuddy or do you prefer playing games?” he questioned himself.
He dressed up, took his motorbike keys and left the house in a psychological mess. By arriving at the hospital, House moved rapidly to his office in order to avoid Cuddy.
He enters the office, there was a box on his desk. All curious he started opening it but then Chase walked it, and he put it at a cupboard.
“Finally, you are here. It’s almost 12 and the patient is...eh not ok. You left in a rush yesterday and we didn't manage to inform you that she is in a coma,” said Chase.
“You know, there are also mobile phones,” House said in a duh tone. “Oh, and you know, that you never answer them,” said Chase mocking him.
“Whatever”, said House sipping his coffee and looks at the x-rays but his sight is empty.
“Well I just want to tell you that as you can see here there is and absent right there but...House! House! Are you ok?” Chase asked him worried noticing House was feeling strange.
House collapsed off his chair and Chases screams, “Foreman! Come quickly!”
When he opened his eyes, he found out, he was on a hospital bed with Wilson beside him.
“Welcome back!” Wilson said staring at House.
“What... Happened? I was talking to Chase and now I’m lying down here.” House asked in doubt.
“You collapsed, House. I run you some tests while you were unconscious and the alcohol levels were scarily high. Why were you drinking?” Wilson clarified.
“I wasn't,” he denied.
“Don't lie to me. Tests do not lie, this is your motto after all,” Wilson affirmed showing him the tests.
I don't remember what happened after last evening and today morning.
“Was it about Cuddy? Oh, wait don't tell me, of course it was about her,” Wilson asked mocking him.
“You were right Wilson. I'm a jerk and she doesn’t deserve me. Cuddy is...” House stopped talking and Cuddy walks in.
“Are you ok? Cuddy asks worried.
“I should, probably go now...A patient waits...bye Lisa, He said walking out the room.
“Are you ok? Answer me!” Cuddy asked again.
“Do I look ok?” he replied, not staring at her.
“What has happened now? How much sadness will you cause me? What did I do? , she asked him, her voice becoming desperate.
“Sadness...? What are you talking about? I know I make you angry but sadness? I never thought you take my jokes serious.”
“And you will never find out”, she said with tears slipping on her face and was out of the room.
“What is this suppose to mean?” House asked himself.

I was reading up on opiate withdrawal and apparently you can go through withdrawal not just to stop taking the drug, Vicodin in House’s case, but to reduce the amount you’re taking.
So in House’s case, like Wilson said; his Vicodin levels where way to high and so the only option was to let his body recover and reduce it’s need for that amount it got everyday.
Therefore, the next morning when he was seemingly better; it was because of the extreme cold-turkeyness that House used to reduce his levels of Vicodin in order for his hallucination of Amber to go away. So I don’t think it was a hallucination, because he hasn’t quit Vicodin, he has only reduced the amount he takes within the space of a horrible 24 hour detox. His body no longer craves the Vicodin every hour or so like before.
Short and simple :)
