Chapter 2. STARING.
She was in the library reading medicine book. And she felt somebody’s eyes staring at her, she turn around to see who it was and saw him leaning on bookshelf staring at her.
-Why are you staring at me?, she asked simple.
-Oh , I’m sorry is it bothering you?
-It is, can you stop that?
-Yeah.
She turned to her book to continue reading her book. But some minutes past and she felt his eyes on her , again. She turned around again and asked:
-I’m sorry, have ever your mommy said that staring is a bad thing?
-She did.
-Then why are you doing this ?
-Because I want to.
-And you always doing whatever you want?
-Oh, You noticed, that’s unusual, he said with a smirk.
-House, I won’t sleep with you, so get lost.
-I didn’t say I want to sleep with you, he loved teasing her.
-Okay, she was really embittered.
-Hey, Liz. Don’t be mad, u know, everybody would like to sleep with u.
-First: don’t call me Liz, and second: I don’t care.
-Am. Can I ask you something?
-Just be quick, I need to study.
-Did you came back to Jake?
-It’s not your business.
-I know. I just want to know.
-Why?
-Just curious.
-Yes, we together again, is that a problem to you?, she teased him.
-Of course not. He’s a great guy to you. You two mach together. Nerd plus nerd = couple of nerds. And you slept with him already? Of course you did.. U know what? I think he’s a great guy, he’s virginal, very good for you, he doesn’t have friends, but still, it’s okay, you can be his friend. , now he was really jealous.
-Well maybe, everything what you just said, is true, but he’s hundred times better than you. And one thing, she smiled to herself, stood up and leaned to him a bit, so now their bodies were so close that he was the one who was turned on and was standing here considering a breath. ‘are you jealous?’ Lisa asked.
-Jealous? Of what? Of you? , he faked a big laugh, Of course I’m not, I can have every girl I want to, why I need some nerd?
-Great. Then maybe you wanna have dinner with us tonight? U can bring your whore if you want to.
Damn no! but if I say no then she will understand that I’m really jealous, he thought.
-Deal. Tonight at 7. At restaurant, dress up ellegant, I don’t want you to do me a shame in front of intelligent people.
-Oh please, just take care that your whore come in elegant cloches. I don’t want you two to do me a shame.
-Oh don’t worry, I’ll be the one who picks her a dress. See ya.
-Bye.
7pm. House and Sara {his girl for the night} And Jake were already in restaurant waiting for Lisa. Jake and Lisa came not together because, Lisa needed to go to the shop, to buy a new dress and Jake hates outgoing.
House didn’t pay much attention to his girlfriend, he was thinking where is Lisa , she had to be there about ten minutes ago.
-Why you didn’t come together? , he asked Jake’s who was talking to Sara.
-She wanted to go shopping and I hate shopping. She said she will come here by herself. Are you worried?
-Of course I’m not, you should be worried , it’s your girlfriend.
-Well, I’m not worried. She likes to be late. Once I waited her for twenty minutes. , he laughed.
-Well, I don’t think we will wait for twenty minutes just because of her. I want to order, he said trying to hide that he’s nervous.
It was 7.14 when Lisa came in restaurant, wearing short , just above knees, black and simple dress, with matching heels and silver earrings and necklace. She looked truly amazing, simple but so elegant and so sexy. Jake saw her first, he watched her with his eyes open, he couldn’t believe how beautiful she was. House saw him staring to her like it was the first time he saw women. House turned his face to see her, and he opened his mouth. ‘god she’s beautiful’,he thought to himself. She was slowly coming closer and closer to them, and when House had bring himself into reality, she was already hugging her boyfriend.
-Hey, I’m Sara, nice to meet you, Greg told me a lot about you., she smiled.
--Oh really? , she turned to face House and smiled to him with a most beautiful smile in the world.
-Yeah, if I had not she wouldn’t be here, he turned his eyes to his feet ‘coz he needed to control himself, because he knew if he would stare at her eyes , he could say something Sara shouldn’t hear. ‘Here let me, he said and push her chair, so she could sit and when she sited, he pushed the chair closer to table.
-Well, I’m hungry, can we order something? Finally? He asked with a smirk witch was intended to Lisa.
-Well I’m sorry that I’m late, but you know, I don’t have a car, so I needed to ask my friend to drive me up.
-Well next time you can ask me., when he realized what he just offered he added:’ or Jake, he's yours Bf, right? , trying to fake a smile.
-Yes,I’m. Baby u could have been called, I would drive you here. Next time call me okay? , He caressed her hand and House couldn’t watch this ‘beautiful’ view.
-Okay!, he almost shouted ‘ Let’s order something tasty.
Dinner went almost perfect, House and Cuddy almost all the time were locked eyes, they ate, chated. It was nearly 8.30pm. And couples started to dance. Jake was paying bill to the waitress and Sara was in the bathroom so House and Cuddy were sitting alone drinking and staring at each other eyes. House stood up stretched his hand to her : let’s dance.
-What? , she was really surprised that he don’t really care about Sara and Jake.
-Let’s dance. D-A-N-C-E.
-I don’t know..
-C’mon, everybody is dancing. , he saw she didn’t buy it ‘ it’s just a dance, please” he said in a low voice.
Finally she laid her hand on his and stood up. The walked to the dance floor hand by hand, and then he put his hands on her small back, she slid her hands to his neck and wrapped it, caressed it with her nails, they were so close.. too close. They just stared into each other eyes and tried to read each other minds. ‘God you’re so sexy, he said in low tone, he paused ‘ and indescribably beautiful’. Her body shivered at his words. She hugged him tight, he felt so good when her hands were softly resting on his back. They just stood there and hold each other into their embrances and dancing slowly. Eyes closed, Liz feeling House’s breathing on her neck, House feeling her breasts strongly pressed to his chest… After fife minutes, they pulled back a little, but still were in dancing position. She slowly caressed his cheek and waching deep into her eyes, this time he couldn’t resist and kissed her again. It was so passionate, so hot, she felt his tongue sliding into her mouth and she let him in. They were kissing each other maybe for a two minutes ,so they needed to pull back to catch a breath. They were looking into each others eyes and smiling. ‘every time you get better and better, we should do this more often, so you will be the professional in the future’.
When does Love become something we need, rather than something we want? Love was seen as something special a long time ago. Now Love is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. Love is common currency when you are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older you get. Do we not care about the substance of what Love was and not what it has been made into today by commercialisation from American movies and Television commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience Love for real, can we comment and judge others who are in Love. Love means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of Love is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? Love is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
