Am I the only one who enjoyed Bombshells?
Personally, I think this episode was one of the best this season. Acting-wise, plot-wise and everything else. For me personally, it shed light, long overdue on the huddy relationship. It has been over half the season now, and I'm kind of surprised this didn't happen earlier. I think we all knew it was coming, we were just afraid to admit it. I was suspicious about it when LE made the comment that they're still together at the 15 episode. Or however she said it. It was odd that she was exact on the episode, which led me to believe that afterward, they might not be [together].
Seeing as this is House, and seeing as it was created to convey a part of the real world, it really was time, and House was never going to be off drugs forever. Now, the writers want to explore life in the hospital after the break up--the drugs, the post-relationship, the atmosphere and what will happen to those mutual feelings that have now been swept aside. For we all know Cuddy still loves House. But she's seeing now that unless he can change--which is what she really wants, despite her initial feelings about that matter throughout the season--he can't be what she needs. She was right before. She needs someone who she can depend on in everything including crisis situations, where her life is at risk. She needs someone who can deal with the pain...that isn't House--yet. It's also a matter now if he is actually going to change....and when....how....where...through who.
I think in the near future, House will have to face dealing with pain....how, is still left to be seen. I believe an actual death is in order. (I'm not naming his name, only because I would get a crapton of comments focused on that particular opinion.) When? Within the last season. Until then, the writers are dealing with his relapse and Cuddy. What actions are made are also left to be seen. Again, these are all my opinions.
I don't believe this is the end for them. It's certainly not the worst of the worst. There's more to come....with more tears, a lot more yelling....a lot more love mixed in as well. All eventual--all happening simultaneously. Huddy will see the day again. In what way? Who's to say. When? Who's to know. Why? That's for us to find out by watching House till the last episode airs. So don't be bitter with the writers and don't slash shore...its a brilliant show yes? It deserves to be praised, correct? Don't let a fall out in your favorite aspect of the show affect it entirely. That's not what its about.
As far as 7x16 promo....he's not gonna jump. If he does, he obviously doesn't die. But he won't. Nothing real like that--yet.
