Hey, guys... I know this is all very very messed up (I mean the time I post the chapters) but I can't find any other way... The school is killing me!! :P
Anyway, I'm still sqeeing over the trip House/Cuddy/Wilson will have... so SQEE with me :DDDDD
oh, and enjoy... I ... think
After Steven had been gone, Hugh found himself alone at home, again. Well, sure Estelle and Monica, who was cleaning the house all day, were around, but his family wasn’t.
He wandered around the house a little. He figured there might had been some other rooms he hadn’t seen yet. However, he was particularly interested in finding a guest bedroom. Elyon had earned herself a stuffed panda for telling him he not so often slept there. That made Hugh think it must had been on the times he was ‘naughty’.
He wondered why did men have to sleep somewhere else when they got in a fight with their other halves.
Hugh passed by the music room and spotted a door that he never really noticed before.
He got in the room and smirked. Just what he was looking for. The guest bedroom.
It was nice, but not as nice as the master bedroom. There was a wooden framed bed, two nightstands on both its sides and a closet. The bedding was almost untouched and Hugh realized he rarely fought with Lisa. Just like Elyon had said.
After exploring the guest room completely, Hugh headed to the garage. Sure, he knew he had an awesome car; he drove Elyon to the store in it. But what he really wanted to know was what kind of motorcycles he owned. He probably only had the old one.
Before he got into the garage, Hugh took in the front yard. It was really neat and there was a vast brick walled fence. They obviously didn’t want paparazzi to invade their privacy. There was a long driveway all the way from the gate to the garage.
Hugh passed his car in the driveway and opened the garage door and found himself, for umpteenth time, in heaven.
He couldn’t believe it.
He owned four cycles and apart from the car Lisa had probably driven away with and the one that he drove Elyon to the toy store in, they owned one more car. This one was more of sports car and it really suited neither Hugh nor Lisa. It was deep blue and it had artwork on both of its sides. He took a look at the plates. They read- Sir Lie. Hugh smirked. This was Charles’s car. He couldn’t believe he had had a ‘Lie’ on his plates. Charlie was how everyone called him, but Lie was something he always wanted to be called since he was ten. It was his- cool name.
Hugh awed when his eyes shot up at the smallest motorcycle he’d ever seen. And it was pink. That was odd. Hugh came closer to it- the ‘baby’ motorcycle had plates as well, they were plastic, but they read ‘Royalty’.
Lisa was damn right about the Paris Hilton part.
Estelle made lunch for Hugh a little bit later. He spent the rest of the afternoon watching some TV and going through the scripts.
What was interesting was that the scripts were the same he laid his hands on in his ‘real’ life. Actually, it wasn’t that much strange.
As he was reading through a particularly exciting Wilson/House scene, Hugh got interrupted by the front door opening up. He thought he heard a car pull into the driveway some minutes before, but he was too engrossed in the reading.
He left the script on the living room coffee table and headed to the front door to greet his family.
“Hey” he smiled as soon as he saw them.
They were all very quiet and Hugh only realized why when Charles holding a sleeping Nick in his arms, got in the view.
Elyon yawned and groggily hurried to meet Hugh.
“Daddy” she giggled at him stretching her arms for him to take her.
Hugh lifted her up and kissed her on the top of her head. “Hey there princess”
Elyon kissed him back “Did you miss us, daddy?” she used the cutest voice ever, making Hugh tear up a little.
“You have no idea just how much”
He carried her down the hallway to meet Becca, ‘Lie’, Nick, Billy and Lisa.
Becca smiled and rushed to meet Hugh half way. She told him the day was nice but tiring and that granny and grandpa were really glad to have them all come over.
That startled Hugh a little. She called Lisa’s parents granny and grandpa. That was really odd. Sure Hugh wanted them to get along, but he never thought they would call them ‘granny and grandpa’.
Charles said a low “I’m going to put him in bed” and with that he went for the stairs.
Billy came around to say “Hi” to Hugh and quickly rushed down the front hallway, heading to the living room. As the sounds of a baseball match started to come out of it, Hugh knew his son would be occupied by watching his favorite sport for a while.
Hugh spotted Lisa taking of her shoes and handling Elyon to Becca, made a step closer to her.
However, he was stopped by Becca’s hand grasping his.
“Dad, you may don’t want to do that” she said quietly earning a glare from Hugh.
“What? Why?” Hugh asked a little bit bemused, was she still angry with him?
Placing Elyon on the floor and telling her to go watch TV with her older brother and watching her go away, Becca turned to Hugh.
“She was grumpy all day. I don’t know what you did, dad, but last time I saw her like that… actually, I’ve never seen her like that before.” Becca raised an eyebrow.
“I’m going to get ready for the sleepover, I gotta go” she hugged Hugh and before he could bother to ask what sleepover, she made it to the stairs.
Lisa left to the kitchen a few minutes before and Hugh, to the opposite of his daughter’s advice, followed her.
They collided in the kitchen hallway. She tried to ignore him, avoiding his gaze and moving faster to the kitchen.
“Lisa?” Hugh asked, warily.
“What?” she snapped, not bothering to turn around to face him.
“Aren’t you going to listen to me?” he tried to keep up her pace.
Half way to the kitchen, she suddenly stopped, turning around to meet him.
“You know what, fine! Talk! What exactly do you have to tell me?” she snapped at him.
“That I’m sorry?” He figured he’d better have her satisfied than try to make even a bigger fuss out of this one.
“You know, that is somehow not enough…” she glared at him, when he had hard time finding the right words, she started climbing the stairs.
“I knew you had nothing else to say” Lisa dropped before she made it all the way upstairs.
Hugh exhaled. This was going to be a long night. What was even worse, he could sense he was going to spend it in the guest bedroom. Knowing he could wake up any time soon, he didn’t want to let that happen.
Lisa is angry.
Oh, joy!! :PPPPPPPPP
(:C
And, yeah, thanks for reviews! I forgot that!! XD
and, some of you mentioned I didn't give you any teaser, so...
here it is, just cause I feel awesome right now :D
“I’ve never seen her angry like this before” he spoke small. He really had no idea what to do. He wasn’t trained for this. He wasn’t used to this. He was freaking thrown into this life with no previous awareness and he had no idea how he was supposed to learn something from it all.
Why didn’t he get a guidebook or something?
So, Hugh is trying to... make her not angry...
let's see how that works out!
Ha! XD
oh... and still waiting for reviews!! :DD
