As I stepped out of the trashed cruiser I had I looked about. Small creatures turned to me
"the goddess!" they exclaimed. I had no clue what they were talking about. I was no fallen angel just a vortian sent to survey the planet and check for life. Granted I did have hair and spiny legs but that didn't make me a goddess.
"welcome! Goddess lathortia! We have waited for you!" a small kne of the creatures holding a staff said as he bowed.
"uh I'm not a goddess I'm a vortian..." I protested there insane assumption. It was odd they knew my name though...
"come" he said and bowed again. A group of the small creatures lifted me up.
"STOP!" I protested again as they carried me off to what seemed to be a shrine.
"lathortia" they praised and bowed.
"I don't understand..." I said I looked into a pond and saw some slash marks across my face and on my arms.
"lathortia. You have come to us and we have waited for you goddess of all." the short one said. He spread his arms and cracked his staff on the ground.
"no Im not a goddess of any sort!" I said and squirmed uncomfortably.
"lathortia will come from a flash of light oozing slashes on her face and arms. Spiny legs, horns, and hair. Does this not describe you arival?" the staffed one interogated.
"it does but I can be a goddess..." I sad in disbelief. I can't be a goddes it justdoesnt make sense... I thought to myself.
"bringthe sacrefice!" he cried And some others wheeled in a small boar.
"knives at the ready." he called and they pulled out some knives.
"DONT KILL IT!" I cried at the thought of taking it's life.
"the goddess demands... Put them away... You are the goddess..." he said and bowed once more.
"and demand she will not to kill the one to be sacreficed..." they all said in unison and bowed.
"live with us. Please goddess your life will be easy simple and fun grant us with your presence..." the staffed one pleaded.
"okay... I shall but teach me tell me and let me know of what powers do I have?" I inquired with a serene smile on my face. I think I'll like these people... I thought and decided to stay.
"well as a goddess you can control animals and become invisible" he said. His excitement was obvious it made me happy to thin they liked me this much.
"I shall stay with you for eternity... But please help me dress these wounds" I asked as my blood oozed out.
"of course goddess thank you" he bowed for the last time and a group of the creatures carried me off.
