Justin Bieber has revealed he loves to play pranks, and even terrified singer Akon with his hijinks. His manager Scooter told how Justin got Akon's number from his phone, then rang the Smack That star: “He was like, ‘Daddy, why don’t you love me?’ It really scared the life out of Akon!”

Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber was in Kansas City Wednesday night for a concert, which only means one thing -- the controversial Westboro Baptist Church decided to show up and stage a protest. What problem could this group possibly have with Bieber? Here's what they claim in a statement:
"Justin Bieber has a platform given to him by God to speak to this world... but he refuses to do that because he knows his concert halls would be empty!"
Really, though, it appears that this church is just more interested in having a platform to fire off their message of hate. They recently protested concerts both for Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga, which led to both singers reminding their fans of what really matters -- love.
A local Kansas City TV affiliate captured the scene outside the concert, which had some parents thankfully firing back at the church for protesting the concert of a 16-year old kid with a positive message.
What should be done to stop these protests?

Pop sensation Justin Bieber was forced to hightail it on his Segway when he was mobbed by a group of frenzied fans in an Arizona parking lot this weekend.

Once the "Baby" singer was caught, he took the time to pose for pictures and sign autographs. Bieber should know by now that teenage girls at his shows are a constant threat. Last April, Australian police had to cancel a scheduled performance after several girls were injured when crowds rushed the stage at a free outdoor concert.
Seven months later, the Biebs had to cancel a scheduled appearance at Long Island’s Roosevelt Field Mall when the crowds got out of control.

Justin Bieber continues spreading his Fever while traveling across North America for My World tour. Three days after performing in California, the 16-year-old pop singer took the stage of The Theatre for Performing Arts at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on July 24.
Singing hit singles like "Baby", "One Less Lonely Girl" and more, Bieber charmed the sold-out crowd with high energy performances as well as his flawless vocal and boyish look.
He tweeted after the gig, "What happened in Vegas stays in Vegas...except in my case where everyone at the show saw everything :) Thanks VEGAS for always showing love!"

Justin Bieber has revealed that he has been working with rap legend, Dr. Dre.
The pint-sized pop star, who already has an impressive list of collaborations under his belt including mentor Usher, Sean Kingston and Ludacris told fans on Twitter that he was in the studio with Dre.
Dre, who is currently working on his long-overdue Detox LP hit the recording studio with the Somebody To Love singer on Tuesday to work on new material with Justin.
Bieber couldn't contain his excitement on Twitter, telling his followers: "Got to be in the studio with the legend himself Dr. Dre."
He later added: "Made a couple beats and he gave me some advice...i was hyped. can u blame me?,"

Justin Bieber's life story is to be transformed into a comic book. The pop sensation's 16 year life will be animated for the one-off special, which is titled Fame: Justin Bieber. The 32-page comic - which retails at $3.99 - will chronicle his childhood growing up in Canada, as well as his sudden rise to fame and his debut headline tour.
The book will hit shelves in October-November and will be created by Bluewater Productions. Other comics will be released based on the lives of Taylor Swift, David Beckham and Lady Gaga. Writer Tara Broeckel Ooten told RadarOnline about working with the Baby singer: "He is a talented young musician. He has such an enormous global fan base.
"That and his talent will probably give him some real staying power in the industry. I listened to Bieber's music for the first time while working on this project, and I have to admit, it can really stick with you."

You can watch the video above. It is nice that they are talking about Jay Sean’s friend, yet this is supposed to be about him and not Justin. It seems to be more about who he is friends with than who he is. I just feel a little bad for him, but he does seem to lighten up when talking about Justin. The 16-year old superstar added: "Hey, all this serious stuff aside, I’m still young, I’m still trying to figure out who I am, and I’m just trying to have fun. I don’t know what I’m here to do yet." Justin also revealed he and his mother survived on local-church handouts and that coming from a 'church background' made him strong. The One Time hit maker claimed: “I grew up below the poverty line. It made me stronger.”

So hopefully that stays valid," she said.

He performed for the screaming tween under the Queensboro Bridge in New York City.

Closing the night was a glorious spectrum of colors, shapes and sparkling dazzlers from more than 40,000 firework shells which illuminated the sky over New York City.
