Black Eyed Peas front man, Will.i.am says he feels the new album "Michael" is disrespectful to Michael Jackson.
In a recent conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Will.i.am stated, "Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are ... He just wasn't any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it's disrespectful. There's no honoring."
His biggest issue with the project, it seems, is using unfinished MJ tracks. This is something he feels the King of Pop never would have stood for. "Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they’re finished. Maybe if I never worked with him I wouldn’t have this perspective. He was very particular about how he wanted his vocals, the reverb he used... he was that hands-on."
However, it is worth noting here that Jackson himself did release unfinished tracks in the past on his 'Ultimate Collection' box set. The five disc set included many demos and unfinished tracks like 'Fall Again,' 'Beautiful Girl,' and 'Cheater.
Also, the album is being released by Sony and the Michael Jackson Estate so, Michael's children are the ones who will ultimately profit off the album.

Looking for a good place to post and enjoy Michael Jackson fanfiction. I see a few have been posted here. Comment if you would like me to post some here, or if you know of any active forums or sites. I use to write "Love of a Lifetime" and "Nursing the Wound" on MJEOL forums as "Mjsexybuddy", The site is still up, but there is no activity on the site anymore. I loved writing Fanfiction, and I recently decided I would love to start writing again, but in a place I know it will be read and enjoyed.
