Miley Cyrus stepped out onto the red carpet this past weekend for the first time in awhile. The celeb had been laying low and touring all year but it wasn't until paparazzi snapped photos of the young star in her gorgeous gown when people started wondering about her larger than usual cleavage.

The 19-year-old attended the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute on Sunday wearing an elegant gown with her hair in a casual braid. After she attended the event the star started receiving criticism that her breasts may possibly be implants.

Miley quickly denied the accusations.

"Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine," the singer tweeted Tuesday. "I wish they'd realize you don't have to be fake to be beautiful!"

The celeb has seen other criticism throughout the year about her body, specifically from people calling her fat when Miley looked a little thicker than usual.

"By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people. I love myself," she tweeted. She then posted a photo of an extremely malnourished woman and said, "I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won't mind either."

We think the young singer is looking gorgeous these days and love her just the way she looks. She isn't the only celeb to receive questions about her cleavage though.

In the 1990's Mariah Carey was the princess of pop and dominated the music charts. In her 20s the singer had a small frame and rarely showed her tiny figure in public. After the star divorced her first husband Tommy Mottola she began to wear sexier outfits. The sexier her outfits became the larger her breasts became too. People began to criticize the singer for her extremely large breasts. Since losing 70 lbs after giving birth to twins it appears the singer's breasts have reduced in size. Did she have breast implants or was that all baby weight?

Britney Spears was another young singer, like Miley, who was constantly criticized for her body as a teen singer. When Spears appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in 1999 everyone speculated she had breast implants due to the way her breasts looked in her scantily clad photos. The singer denied the allegations and as far as we know, her breasts haven't been the topic of controversy since the beginning of her career.
