Gaara turns round in a flash he thought he recognised that voice
“momo”
A young girl of 19 stood at 5ft 8 her brunette hair tied back in a long pony tail that draped over the pale skin of her shoulder her ocean blue eyes framed with a thick black line stared at him with no expression as Gaara looked down her seeing her red sleeveless top which ended at the top of her ribcage then down her stomach to her hip were the sign for love was tattooed as a scar then to her black skirt witch covered her 4 inches down her thigh too her fishnet shorts which stopped at the top of the knee then to her black ankle boots
“Long time no see brother of Shakaku”
“Yes where have you been all these years?”
“Travelling and training I heard that you had become kazekage and I decided to see it for myself you've come a long way from the little boy I knew”
“You’ve changed as well you've grown up a lot”
“I've got to go but I’ll see you around”
At that she walked off and Gaara went back to his office
“what's wrong Gaara”
“Hmm”
“Its just that you seem more distant than usual ”
“Is that even possible Temari”
“Stay out of it kank”
“I'm fine now what did you want to ask”
“could I have some time off to visit the leaf ”
Kankuro started to laugh
“tem you sure its the leaf you wanted to visit or is it a certain shinobi ”
Temari answered this by punching him in the face he got up rubbing his jaw
“jezz tem I see were Gaara got his mean streak from ”
“kankuro silence Temari go you have two weeks”
Temari smiled then nodded and started to walk out just as she got to the doorway Gaara called her
“and Temari ”
“yes Gaara”
“remember what me and kankuro said about boy’s of that age and them wanting... things”
“and watch out your range he can control your shadow after all no telling what he might do”
Temari’s eyes widen open and her face goes red she tries to conceal it bye walking out the door
Baki-hey Temar..ahhh
Baki comes crashing through the wall hands Gaara some paper work then walks out
“Temari's one scary bitch eh Gaara”
“whys she so touchy bout the leaf shinobi”
“you mean shikamaru well I'm surprised she hasn’t acted on her feelings for him yet”

“you know Gaara how every time he looks at her she blushes and you've seen that smile she gives him haven't you ”
“yes but what do you mean by acting on them”
Kankuro now feels slightly scared of saying the wrong thing and upsetting his younger brother
“well you know either telling him or kissing him”

“why are you surprised that she hasn’t acted”
“well Temari’s not a shy girl at all she usually just comes out and says something without thinking but she acts different around him to be honest I think she's liked him from the Chunnin exams”

“you saw the attacks she was using and they weren't her strongest”

Kankuro smiles and grabs him in a headlock
“co's me and Temari already do knuckle head now id better run whilst I still have legs see ya ”
He runs off at this Gaara smiled slightly and each went back to there own duties night came and while kankuro slept Gaara went for a walk he sat down at some rocks in a clearance for about an hour
“hey”
“hmm oh momo what are you doing up”
“if I went to sleep id go on a killing rampage you”
“same”
“you mind if I sit with you”
“no”
She sits down beside him
“momo”
“yes Gaara”
“have you ever felt love”
“no...hell even if I did I wouldn’t realise it I've never felt it and never will but I've seen it there was this one time though when I was about I don’t know.. 13 ish and I was watching this fight and the girl was a goner a guy was running towards her with a sword and just a moment before she would have been killed a boy jumped out in front of her even thou he was impaled he managed slit the attackers throat and when she asked why he just said he loved her stupid huh”
“y yeah”

“but don't you ever wonder how it feels”
“I used to but I decided to grow up and face my destiny ”

The rest of the two weeks flew by his conversations with momo grew longer and more detailed it wasn’t long before they were talking all night and not realising it Gaara and momo were on the roof talking when Gaara noticed Temari
“looks like my sisters finally back”
“who's that with her, her boyfriend ”
“thats shikamaru I'm sure there just friends”
“well I know how to figure it out Gaara why don't we”
She whispers something in his ear
“shikamaru you really didn’t have to walk home with me”
“well last time I did I got word you had been attacked and were in hospital”
“and you say girls bring stuff up from the past.. well id better go”
“y yeah bye”
As they went to walk away they found that there feet wouldn’t move and they were moving closer together a ring of sand went around the backs of there heads and forced them into a kiss then the sand disappeared and they stopped a shocked Temari turned round to confront her brother as she walked away she felt someone grabbed her wrist before she ad chance to do anything shikamaru had pulled her round into him and kissed her and Temari kissed him back
“I knew it I could tell by there body language”
“I was not expecting that from Temari I would have thought she’d of punched him”
“yes well love is a strange thing I guess”
We see Gaara sat at his desk with kankuro talking to him
“Gaara did you see any thing earlier”
“like what”
“like Temari with a guys toung down her throat”
“GAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!!!!!”
“Speak of the devil ”
Kankuro sighed
Temari smashed open the door kankuro stepped out in front of her
“Now now tem think about this”
Temari grabbed him by the head and threw him threw the wall
“I just had that re built”
“Gaara I don't know weather to kill you ”
She put her hands around his neck then turned that into a hug and kissed his fore head
“or kiss you thank you ”
Gaara looked shocked to find that he liked the feeling he got when she hugged him
“Temari”
“yes Gaara ”
“do you love me”
“of Corse I do your my lil brother ha its my job”
Kankuro crawls in
“(weakly) yeah me to”
He stand up and holds his head then joins in a knock comes from the door
“um Temari”
Kankuro looks at him
“shikamaru id like you to meet a couple of my friends”
“what who”
“crow and black ant”
At this shikamaru runs away
“no don't ”
“no one kisses my sister like that and gets away with it”
“sorry oh man what a drag”
Temari runs out after them
“kankuro don't you dare touch him ”
“I wont my puppets will”
“ok you asked for it kank ”
We hear kankuro yell then a couple of crashes Gaara sits and continues to drink his tea kankuro climes thru the window
“how did you...”
“don't ask”
“well I think I've over stayed my welcome id better get back”
“your welcome back any time you want shikamaru isn’t that right kanky”
Kankuro’s covered in bruises
“y yeah but he probably wont come back for a while I mean you have been here for two months know ”
Temari looks shocked
“wait 2 months no ”
They look at her funny

They start looking confused

She grabs Shikamaru’s hand then runs off leaving a confused looking kankuro and an unfazed Gaara
Shikamaru-“no”
“yep... I'm pregnant”
“kank and Gaara really are gona kill me know ”
He faints
“cry baby you don't have to live with them”
“hey Gaara how Temari doing”
“what oh momo I haven't seen you around”
“I've been perfecting my sand earrings now even though there tiny they still contain enough sand to attack and use as a shield”
“oh you've been busy then”
“yeah so how far gone is Temari”
“about 7 months she's out of action so I've been going on missions instead in fact I wanted to ask if you could help once shikamaru goes on temporary leave once the baby’s born ”
“I spose I have to do what the kazekage say’s don't I so sure you seem more open than usual your turning soft on me ”
“GAARA COME QUICK!!”
“kankuro what's wrong ”
“its Temari she's gone into premature labour hurry ”
“why are you two so worried woman go into early labour all the time and survive ”
“yes momo but the sabaku no woman don't normally make it full term or survive ”
“we've lost countless relative’s because of this ”
“kankuro lets just hope she's strong enough to get through this”
As they run down the corridor they hear the screams getting louder and louder
“when she first started getting the contractions shikamaru managed to get her to the hospital ”
They get to the door were a nurse is standing
“ come in”
“I’ll wait out here Gaara”
Momo told them as Gaara nods then walks in They see Temari screaming and blood everywhere
They stand either side at her shoulders out the way
“aren’t there any drugs I can take god”
“sorry miss sabaku but your fully dilated ”
“oww ahhhh shikamaru!!!”
She grabs him by the scruff of the neck
“your never coming near me with that thing ever again in fact give me a scalpel”
“love you too hunny”
Nurse-“ok every one there's going to be a lot of blood leave now if you wish”
Shikamaru grabs Temari’s hand
“I'm never going to leave you”
Kankuro gabs her shoulder
“you'd probably kill me if I left”
Temari screamed and griped hold of Shikamaru's hand then was surprised to fell a warm grasp on her other she turned her head to see Gaara looking at her smiling
“your my sister I could not let you go through with this without me”
“g Gaara...ahhhh!!”
“ok it’s coming”
Temari let out one more scream then every thing went quiet they took the baby away
“ok I need you to leave sit out in the waiting room”
They leave and sit out Gaara was lent for ward tapping his foot he felt some ones arm come over his back and a hand on his shoulder
“people usually do this to help calm them down”
“Thank you momo”
“shikamaru” kankuro looked down
“kankuro” shikamaru looked at the doorway
“don't worry you two she's strong ”
Both-“Gaara”
“she wont let this beat her and the baby will be fine too I know that because its Temari's child ”
An hour past and a nurse came out the room
“Temari's fine ”
“and the baby”
“she's fine”

They smile then walk in
“hey mummy ”
“ha hey daddy”
Shikamaru bends down and kisses her then sits next to her on the bed
“hmm and hey uncles ”
“aright tem”
“no I'm in agony but its worth it ”
“she's beautiful”

“what are you gonna call her”
“we haven't decided ”
“We were going to call her Gaara kankuro if she was a boy”
“Why would you put Gaara’s name first”

We hear kanako crying
“I haven't slept in a month how bout you Gaara”

“hey you two can you give me a hand ” momo put her hand on her hip while speaking
“why” kankuro yawned
“I saw an akatsuki member making there way towards the village ”
“lets go” Gaara stood
They make there way out of the village after about 10 minuets an explosion separates the three a bird lands next to momo
“momo move”
She jumps next to Gaara the bird explodes
“thanks”
Another three explosions happen sand surround them then falls to the ground
“those attacks wont work on us now show yourself”
“heh not bad but I don't expect anything else from the jinchuriki of the sand”
Said a man with long blond hair in a pony tail
“you late for a drag queen competition”
“what how dare you be so rude I work hard on this”
“well sorry for having standards its just your hairs longer then mine mind you how do you get it to shine like that”

the attack resembles the rack trap in saw 3
“right you've got 5 chances to answer me why are you here”

She smirks then twirls her finger his right leg turns all the way around he screams
“so why did you come here”
“you honestly think I’ll give into pain that easily ”
She twirls her finger the same thing happens
“tell me or I’ll start on the arms”
She puts her finger up
“ok ok I came after you two”
“why”
“stupid child thats all your getting from me ”
She twirls her finger breaking his arm
“you sure ”
He spits at her then laughs
“ok now thats just rude”
She twists her finger breaking his other arm by now all have blood on them
“you gonna say anything else”

“any last words”
“just four art is an explosion”
We hear a sickening crunch as she spins her finger they get splattered with blood one last time
“heh you two ok ”
She wiped the blood from her cheek while speaking
“hey you hear that guys”
“yeah I do kank”
She answered as The ticking gets faster the body explodes kankuro jumps to the right while Gaara jumps back and momo to the left when the dust settles a chakra spike aims towards Gaara
“Gaara!!”
Gaara closes his eyes waiting to be impaled he hears the sickening squelch and feels blood spit on his face when he opened his eyes he felt a great pain in his heart as he saw the spike impaling
A shaking momo
“momo why”
“I I I don't know and y you c can call m me a adachi”
At this she faints into his arms he picks her up and takes her to the hospital him and kankuro are sat in the waiting room
“we cant escape this place eh Gaara”
“she t told me to call her adachi ”
“yeah what's up with that I thought her name was momo”
“her full name is adachi momo”
“oh but still why”
“when we were younger I think we were about 6 or 7 we had a conversation about love and she said when she loves some one shell tell them her first name it means peach blossom I think ”

“I don't know ”
A nurse came out

The two set off
“we've been every were Gaara she's probably left the village”

He takes off

We see adachi walking along a log that stretches across a water fall
“I thought id find you here”
He walks along to her

“this is were we first met I saved your life when you tripped ”

“because I don't know if id survive the fall or what's down there ”

She grabs his hand

She jumps off they fall never letting go of each others hand even after they land in a pool of water that stung as they hit it with force they went deep under adachi felt her arm getting pulled up till eventually she feels the water leave her head as she surfaces he grabs her round the waist as they swim to the bank
“adachi your a an I idiot”
“and your week if I can pull you off”
“well we survived at least”
“Mr. boring”
“your insane”
“says someone who went on a killing spree when they were 13”

“touché... hey I've just realised where we've come to ha lets get you dry follow me”
They start walking
“oh and Gaara”
“yeah”
“you can let go of my hip now”
“oh sorry”
They carry on walking for about 5 minuets then they come up to a house
“its my old house”
“really”
“you don't remember we used to play here when we could smile and actually laugh”
“oh yeah its been a while”
“lets go in there's still some cloths in there that might fit you ”
They steeped in the house which was dusty and full of cobwebs and started walking around
“its weird to be back here”
“yeah hey adachi there's that stain we made when we had that food fight ”
“oh my god look at this photo”
She holds up a frame and the photo has Gaara and adachi hugging and laughing
“your cheeks were as red as your hair in that pic”
“yeah”
“oh its got late do you wanna stay here tonight and we can find our way back in the morning”
“yeah maybe thats best not to mention its started raining ”
“well looks like were gonna have to sleep together ”
“sleep but we don't sleep”
“Yes but I learned a trick I want to show you”
She takes him down the hall and opens the third door to the left to a large room which had another door at the top beside the bed
“right Gaara when I was working on my earrings I also came across a jutsu that lets us sleep without releasing Shakaku come here a minuet ”
He walks over to her she makes some hand sighs
“night freedom jutsu”
She kisses the underneath of her fingertips then places then on Gaara’s mark then does the same to herself
“there now you’ll get to now what sleep feels like”
“thank you”
She walked into the other door a few seconds later water is heard running
“Yes.. hey Gaara you wouldn’t mind if I took a shower would you”
“No of cores not”
“Gaara there's some cloths in the wardrobe see if you can find ant thing”
“ok”
“be quick I only take 10 minuets ”
So he walked over to the wardrobe and took out a pair of pyjama bottoms and changed in them he didn’t bother looking for a top then sat down on the end of the bed after a couple of minuets he heard the water stop then a crack of thunder then a small scream
“adachi are you scared of thunder”
“I wont lie I am a little yes”
“something the sand doesn’t protect you from and why did you tell me you first name”
“I thought I was going to die and you always used to bug me about it when we were kids so I thought you’d want to know”
“ooh ok I got scared for a moment”
He heard the door open and saw her walk out she had on a smart tower that was held together with three strips of Velcro one round her breasts one round her waist and one round her lower hips he also notices the gap that started at her hip exposing her thigh she stopped in front of him and gave him a look whilst taking her hair out of the bun she had put it in to keep it dry

He lent back and slouched with the legs open She raised her eye brow again then a louder crack of thunder rang out she jumped back and hit against the draws which knocked her forward and she tripped landing on top of Gaara clutching his shoulders her body was strait her hips were on his and her legs in-between the gap of his after a few seconds her muscles relaxed and she brought herself slightly up

Gaara look at her shocked he had never seen her with her hair down before he also never thought of her as being beautiful before. As she went to push herself up off of him she was as shocked as he was to find his hand on the back of her neck preventing her from moving he brought his other hand up and ran it down her nose and slowly down her lips then chin then neck and chest and between her breasts he ran it down till he got to below her belly then brought his hand round her hip to the bottom of her back he was amazed at how she was trembling and melting to his touch he slowly and gently brought her head down to his they both trembled as they lightly grazed each others lips then they pressed them together for a few seconds then released then brought them together once more but Gaara felt adachi lick at his lip so he opened his mouth as they engaged in a more passionate kiss which lasted longer Gaara's hand which he kept in a sensible spot at the bottom of her back seemed to drift down without his permission yet he did not fight it as he felt her down to the middle of her thigh and squeezed it then back up and she knew this was going a bit far she kept thinking that this is the first time she’s even kissed anybody let only letting it go this far but she love the way it felt as he touched her and kissed her and Gaara loved how warm she felt to him and the way her hair felt against his face and the softness of her lips he felt his hand lower one more to her butt but this time he went round to her hip and opened the Velcro then went up to her waist then undone the one round her belly
“stop Gaara stop” he thought to himself
Adachi broke the kiss and looked him in the eye’s as he got lost in them he realised they were a darker blue than his and seem to sparkle in the moon light
“g Gaara it its fine”
She leaned back in and kissed him once more as she lent over him he went to the last Velcro then moved his hand away but she grabbed his hand then but it on her breast so he undone the last one She waited a second before shrugging it off and leaving herself exposed Gaara wrapped both his arms around her then flipped her over so he was on top he lent back and sat with his legs either side of her then went down and kissed her again but this time he did it harder she responded by biting him on the bottom of his lip and pulling as he went away demanding him to stay but he refused instead he kissed the corner of her lips then her neck then the spot were her neck and shoulder met he kept his kisses and toung there her felt her put her hands down his sides and to the waistband of his trousers she pulled them down he sat back up then took them the rest of the way off before kissing her on the panty line and making his way up her belly over her breasts and back to her lips before he let his hips move forward. When he did he felt her claw into his back and bite his lips again as the blood dripped from her they spent a long and enjoyable night together that neither of them would forget
When morning came Gaara was awakened bye the sun in his eyes he turned his head to see adachi’s resting on his chest he felt a flutter in his chest when he saw her he sat for a few minuets just staring at her he heard her take in a deep breath and whine it out then she opened her eyes and locked up at him smiling a smile he never saw before he felt a warmth as he gazed in her eyes and saw his reflection in them he realised the he two was smiling a new smile at that moment the only thing he could say was
“I I I lo mmh”
He was silenced by her lips on his
“I love you too”.
