Niall Horan Fanfic Chapter 15: What Hurts the Most
    We were now out of the ambulance and Zayn was driving us back to my house. Niall and I were still fighting.
“I do care princess.” He said.
“Don’t call me that.” I said.
“Why? If you’re not my princess then what are you?” he said looking and sounding really hurt.
“I don’t know Niall. What am I?” I said.
“You’re mine. You’re my princess. Nothing will change that Hazel. Why are you being like this?” he said.
“Being like what? Hurt that the person I love most doesn’t trust me? Acting like I don’t love you because whenever I do I get my heart broken? Acting like I don’t need you? Acting like what Niall?” I said.
“Hazel I don’t know where you came up with the thought that I don’t trust you. Hazel you’re breaking your own heart. I try every day to make you happy because I love you. You don’t talk to me you don’t let me in. I don’t know what to do so I give you your space and then you get mad. Hazel I need you too. That’s why we made the arrangement for you to be our opener. So I can spend all my time with you. Hazel you’re acting all insecure. We were never like this. I want you to be the crazy, weird, funny, loving, snuggly, beautiful girl you always were.” He said.
“I wish I could be that girl again too.” I said.
“You can. Just let go. Let’s move past all this distrust, and insecurities, and just be happy again.” He said.
“I don’t know what happened to me, I don’t know who I am anymore, I don’t know how to change.” I said letting a tear roll down my cheek.
“I’m here for you Hazel. Every step of the way, I’ll change with you. You brought out the jealous in me, when I see you with other guys, I just can’t stand the thought of losing you.” He said and wiped my cheeks.
“I want everything to be better. I want everything to be okay. We can do that right?” I asked him.
“Of course we can. Promise me something.” He said.
“Yeah?” I asked.
“No more crying. I hate seeing you so upset.” He said.
“Promise. I hate crying I get all puffy and blotchy.” I said.
“You’re still beautiful though.” He said.
    He leaned in and kissed me. When we broke the kiss, I looked into his beautiful eyes. I couldn’t stay mad at him. He was always there for me and he had my back.
“I love you princess. If I can call you that again?” he said.
“I love you too. Prince.” I said smiling.
    He kissed my cheek and smiled at me. I rested my head on his shoulder.
“Hate to ruin the moment, um but you guys are making me want to puke. I’m still here if you forgot.” Zayn said.
“Yeah buddy, way to ruin it.” Niall said jokingly punching Zayn in the arm.
    I laughed. I was so happy that I fixed things with Niall again. I don’t know why I kept screwing things up. Niall was right, I needed to let go and just enjoy my time with him.
    We got back to the hotel and went up to my room. Niall sat on the bed and I went in the kitchen. There was no food so Niall and I ordered a pizza. The delivery guy came and starting talking to me.
“What’s your name?” he asked.
“Hazel.” I said, “How much do I owe you?”
“I’m Brian and for you this ones on the house.” He said.
“Haze what is taking you so long! I’m starving!” Niall called from the other room. He walked in and saw Brian. “Who are you?” he asked getting mad.
“Brian and you?” Brian said back.
“Her boyfriend. Niall.” Niall said flatly.
“How is a girl like you going out with a guy like him.” Brian said.
“I’m in love with him. Now how much do I owe you?” I said.
“Why?” Brian asked.
“Um cause I need to pay you.” I said.
“No why are you into him?” Brian asked.
“Aren’t you the delivery guy? Not like an interviewer.” I said.
“I was only wondering.” He said.
“Yeah well don’t. How much do I owe you?” I said again.
“$25.” He said.
    I handed him the money and closed the door. Niall was sitting on the couch looking really mad. I opened the box and grabbed a slice of pizza. Niall didn’t move.
“I thought you were starving?” I said to Niall.
“Not anymore.” He replied.
“Why cause of that guy?” I said.
“He was all over you, even when I came out he didn’t care.” Niall said.
“Yeah so? He’s just some random guy, and he was ugly. You’re way better looking.” I said nodding at him. I saw him fighting back a smile.
“Thanks for sticking up for me though.” He said.
“That’s what I’m here for. Will you eat. You’re like staring the pizza down.” I said laughing.
“Hazel? I lied to you.” He said.
“’Bout what?” I asked dangling cheese over my mouth.
“I’m starving.” He said.
    We both started laughing hysterically. That boy was always hungry.
