Me and Raman practically ran to hmv, where One Direction were doing the signing. Being much faster than me, Raman got there first. One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has confessed he thinks rival boyband JLS are cooler than his own band.

Tomlinson, along with his bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik, finished third on The X Factor last year, and Louis claims that JLS have nothing to worry about when it comes to their dance moves.

The acts are in LA, teaming up with top producers, on a trip organised by the Big Man himself, Simon Cowell.
