A Hacker has attacked the Twitter page of Niall Horan from One Direction.
The Mullingar Teen soared to international fame when his boyband came third in the X factor just before Christmas.
A message spotted by fans yesterday stated 'Guys, I'm coming out, the truth is I'm gay' .
Twitter hackers have targeted many celebrities in the past including Nadine Coyle, Justin Bieber and Britney Spears.
Niall's Mum Maura Gallagher says the attack hasn't bothered her son.
She says' Niall took it very lightly I can tell you and he notified the people straight away and it was closed immediately.
She says ' I'm sure it makes him so aware of what's capable of happening and it can happen again and I think its terrible but that's life now and the society now we're living in'.
