it was a quiet day in the penguin base, skipper and rico played cards, while private watched lunacorns happily, when suddenly.......
"WOOOOHOOO, FISH JET PACK RESULTS, FUNCTIONAL, AND FUN!!!!" yelled Kowalski as he flew with a cooked mackerel on his back, which seemed to be on breathing fire
"KOWALSKI!!!" yelled skipper, "WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT EXPERIMENTING WITH YOUR FOOD?" Kowalski immediately landed, "sorry skipper, its just I decided to skip lunch to make room for tonight, and I wanted to work on concealed weapon systems..." Kowalski explained
"well you made private pee himself" skipper scolded "no I didn't!!!!" private said angrily, before rico grabbed a glass of apple juice and spilled it by privates feet "yu hu" rico argued
"anyway whats tonight?" private asked, trying to change the subject, "couples movie night at the docks" Kowalski elaborated, "im going for a romantic meal with doris (the dolphin) then going to watch the movie" rico immediately grabbed his doll (miss perky) and began dancing, mumbling "movie night, movie night". private clapped happily and said "i'll bring Angelina!!!"
everyone stared at him before skipper broke he silence and asked "private, who's Angelina?", private turned bright red and mumbled "franky the pigeons sister, we met when we were getting rid of those rats in frankys nest...."
"so what movie is it anyway?" skipper wonderd aloud, "all's fair in love and espionage" Kowalski answered "LOVE AND ESPIONAGE!!!!!, I LOVE THAT MOVIE, WITH ALL THE SPIES AND EXPLOSIONS, YEAH I AM SO THERE!!!!" skipper yelled loudly, " ummm skipper, its for couples only, you need a date..." the words jerked a horrible memory in skippers mind, for a moment all he could hear was classical music and the laughter of one cruel dane.......
" NO, NO NO NO NO NO NO, NOOOOOOOOO"
"NOT AFTER WHAT HAPPEND IN DEN... I mean I don't have time for dating" skipper burst out "actually skipper, you simply need to have a partner to go, no romantic connection has to be invlolved" Kowalski said "bring marlene, she'll like the movie, half the background music is Spanish guitars" private suggested, "nah, she won't want to, she can listen to her cd's if she wants music" skipper argued, immediately, as if just to prove him wrong, Marlene burst in yelling, "SKIPPER SKIPPER SKIPPER, PLEASE COME WITH ME TO THE MOVIES, I WANNA SEE THE MOVIE BUT EVERYONE ELSE HAS A DATE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE", this caught skipper off his guard, and he tried to weasel out "well, ummm, its kinda rude of you to just assume I don't have a date.." "he doesn't though" Kowalski chipped in, "and I might have been busy.." "he wasn't" piped up private from the background "and I might have hated the movie..." "blagh barra du da ba" yelled rico" "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, I go with you, BUT ITS STRICTLY PLATONIC!!", skipper relented, "oh, uh, um,... well DUH, dating you for real would be like dating.... my brother?" she said rather uncertainly, "meet you there at eight" skipper mumbled awkwardly, before marlene climbed up the ladder back to her habitat.
later at the docks everyone was taking their seats, Kowalski by the water as to sit with dorris, private and Angelina on the roof of a nearby warehouse, rico on a crate with miss perky and other zoo animals with their respective dates on cargo crates.
skipper took his seat by the screen when marlene came arrived "sorry im a little late, got caught up in practising guitar" "no problem marlene, um, take a seat" even more awkwardly then before.
As mason flicked the switch on kowalskis homemade projector, everyone quieted down
" I USED TO BE A REGULAR JOE LIKE YOU, then IT happened, the Russian/Canadian/taxpayer conspiracy that took everything I loved..." the silver screen spy Greg Rosenbloom blared over the docksm, when suddenly..
"HELLO FELLOWS OF MOVIE GOING!!" Julian yelled as he jumped in front of the screen "BY CHANCES OF A MOST SILLIEST MISTAKE, I SEEM NOT TO HAVE HAD AN INVITATION TO THIS SHOWING OF THE SKY SPIRITS GREAT FILMY-MABOB,BUT NEVER FEAR, I CAME ANYWAY!!! "SO WHERE IS THE ROYAL MOVIE GOING THRONE!?" he yelled over the movie "JULIAN, EVEN IF YOU WERE INVITED, WHICH YOU ARNT, YOU NEED A DATE TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND OUR FILM NIGHT" Mason yelled from the back "AH BUT I DO HAVE A DATE FOR ROMANCING, I WOOED HER MYSELF!! HERE SHE IS!! he said before pulling out a Julian smoothie cup from the zoo gift shop which had a wig on it " SEE?!" he yelled once more before joining them, however bada and bing, who were going with some baboons grabbed him and twisted him into a pretzel, before tossing him into the sky " he oughta come down in an hour" bada explained, "then we'll just keeps doin it till we've finished da movie and what-not" bing continued before everyone sat down and began to watch the rest of the movie......
