Who agrees with me? Or better yet, who cares if you don't? What does it matter if a stranger has a totally different opinion?

I'm proud of you. And to be honest, I feel a lot like you do. I know who I am, and I always try to be me, but Fanpop is distracting me from actually accomplishing anything.

But right now, I feel that being on Fanpop for others is important. These people aren't strangers to me, they're my friends. Just because we live far away doesn't mean anything, we're still friends. I know my purpose in life isn't to gain power, it's to be there for other people, especially my friends. And Fanpop is the starting place to do that.

That's great what you are doing. You are absolutely right. Because you see, all of us are clamming onto these little computers to talk with people we (probably) never met with before and not realizing the good outside of the screen and actually around us. It's become a mad-man obsession, and you finding out the truth about the horrors of the internet is a great thing, because not many people realize it. (hands up for me, again, sadly) So being away from here for a day, a week, a month, or even a whole freakin year is a great thing and will make you a better person. Because everyone loves to do the things they enjoy best. When they get old and realize they are ten times better off than the squinting, cane-walking dude across the street who spent his life on a computer, that's when they notice that they did a good thing and became a better life around them that was nothing compared to these little pixel things and gigabites and crap.
