What are you proud of?

I'm proud to be an Equestrian.

In my sport, we don’t have breaks or timeouts, there’s no off season and no one sits out on the bench.
We don’t postpone because of weather and we don’t quit on account of injury. I don’t talk to my teamate but we communicate without words.
We don’t practice 5 hours a week, more like 5 hours a day, 6 days a week.
All my sport really is, is galloping full speed, finding distances, swapping leads, spinning, jumping high fences, stopping suddenly at great speeds, doing the required pattern EXACTLY how it is written, and looking good doing it. If you think that running, jumping, shooting, or throwing a ball or anything else is more difficult than sitting on an animal that weighs at least 10 times as much as you with a mind of its own.Doing 10 things at once.It's a mental and physical sport.And do you think what you do is harder? Prove it. I dare you. I dare you to get on my horse and do.what.I.do. We risk our safety every time we ride, yet we still do it. We're dedicated and gutsy.We fall and get right back up and do it until it's right.
