The word 'random' should not be confused with weird, or stupid. They are three very different things, and if you don't believe me, look it up in an English Dictionary.
Obviously, some people are more reserved than others, and will simply not go yelling out random things, but what I am trying to really say is, is to just feel free to be yourself! It's your life, so live it!
