Personally I loved this character not because he is cute and adorable but he acts like a spoilt prince who is so dim-witted and silly. I love his facial expressions in this movie because he reminds me of Jim Carrey in a way. Part of me actually felt sorry for him because his stepmother is the villain in this movie and his bride to be was in love with another man which happened to be her real true love all along.
What do I think of James Marsden?
I actually find him hot yet I liked him in this movie as well as 27 Dresses where he played Kevin in that flick. He was very funny and he actually has an amazing singing voice this guy should sell an album worldwide besides wasting his singing talent which is great.Oh and did I forget to tell you that this guy was a model ?.

Robert
This guy was seriously boring in the beginning as he was a pessimistic cynical lawyer who didn’t believe in romance at all and he was a single dad to a little girl. I like him better than Edward because Edward was vain and like Gaston a bit of a show-off whereas Robert was kind,charming and nice. I love how he changes in the end of the film when he sings to Giselle during the ball scene. What a cute moment that was.
On Patrick Dempsey
This is the only film that I like him in because his not annoying his more enjoyable in this film and he doesn’t show off his bits in this at all because he is a very overrated actor . I think rom coms and family flicks as well as musicals suits him better because his got the charms that women love about him and he actually has a good singing voice. I actually mistake him once for Sean Penn as they are kinda similar. Personally I loved him in this film and he was very good as the cynical boring straight dude who doesn’t see eye to eye at times.Although he isn’t the sexiest bloke in the universe as he has deep wrinkles and very average but having said that there is something about him that makes me feel like he is a charming guy that doesn’t care what his like or who he is as an actor and as a person and plus I developed a huge crush on him after watching Enchanted I actually started to watch Grey’s Anatomy all because he was in it and I found his charcther in that programme a bit stubborn and cocky but that’s just him playing Dr Derek Sheppard.

Both of these characters are sweet and they are friends with animals. They both take a poison apple and go into a deep sleep and they have to be awaken by true love’s kiss.
Scenes that Enchanted mocks
*The wicked Queen aka Susan Sarandon’s Queen Narissa is similar to the wicked Queen in Snow White as they both turn into old hags and give the herione of the movie a poison apple that will make them go into a deep sleep.
* True love’s kiss scene is kinda similar minus the dwarves.
* When Giselle is cleaning Robert’s apartment she summons animals to clean up his apartment and sings a song that is like Whistle While You Work entitled Happy Working Song.
* Giselle & Snow White are both sweet and childish.
*Edward & Giselle riding off in the sunset.
