I woke up to hear banging on Shadow and my bedroom's door. I smiled and Shadow groaned exhaustedly. We saw our little angels, staring at me with puppy eyes. I gave them a kiss on the forehead good morning, and waited for them to start complaining about each other and what they did wrong. Shadow placed his hand around my waist and said softly, "Alright, tell Mommy and me why you are up at 9:30 in the morning and at our door." Trinity giggled softly and clutched her Amber Doll in her hand. Platinum shifted his feet worriedly, afraid Shadow was going to scold the living wits out of him. Dusk yawned sleepy and walked over to me. Ann-Marie smiled at Shadow gleefully, her cat tail twirling in the air. "Daddy, Mommy, can we pwease go to tha pawk?" Shadow chuckled and I gave my daughter a silently tap on the shoulder. We both new Ann was trying to say park, but we couldn't help but tease her. The others fell on the floor laughing hysterically, and Ann-Marie stomped on the carpet angrily. "It's not funwy! Don't bwe a dummy-head!" Again, Dusk tried to act like his father and started saying some more funny sayings about Ann-Marie. She frowned and looked at Shadow. Tears welled into her eyes and we immediately stopped. Shadow gave his daughter an affection smile and stretched his arms outward for a forgiving embrace. Ann-Marie ran towards her daddy and started crying in his fluffy white chest hair. I looked at the two attentively and smiled. Dusk felt a bit ashamed of his behavior, because the next thing I knew he tugged on my leg. "Mommy, I'm sowy that I swaid those mwean things about Anny." I laughed and gave my son a noggin bonk. "It's alright sweetie, just don't take these sayings too far." Shadow finally set Ann-Marie down and kissed her forehead. He reassuringly told her that it was okay now, and she went over to her siblings. "Wanna pway tag in the big room?" The children managed to somehow stifle a laugh and nodded. They ran out of our bedroom, with Shadow calling after them, "Don't bonk your little heads on the furniture!"
I giggled softly and opened the door. We both stretched and readied ourselves for the morning. "Whew. That was sure an interesting start, eh Shadow?" He nodded yes and cracked his knuckles. Shadow always teased me when he cracked his knuckles; he knew I didn't like that sound. "Like this?" Shadow said jokingly as he did it louder. Augh! It sounded like he was stamping on thousands of skulls at one time. "Stop it!" I exclaimed, and Shadow laughed. He kissed me on my lips passionately, and escorted me to our kitchen. We lived in a medium sized house, although the kids had to share one room. It consisted of a kitchen, living room, dining room, attic, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 1 basement. The house's exterior color was painted a creamy beige brown, and it and a 2 car garage, even though Shadow had a motorcycle. I went down the carpeted staircase with Shadow in tow and went to prepare breakfast. We saw the kids running around and screaming shrieks of joy. Shadow looked at bit worried, and I had to soothe him by giving him a cup of Joe. The kids smelled breakfast, and Trinity immediately piped up, "I smwell breakfwast!" Little cute cheers were heard shortly after that, and Shadow chuckled while sipping in his coffee cup. Then it fell and smashed on the tile with a loud bang. Shadow's ear flattened at the noise and the kids got quiet. "Aww. It broke. That's no good." I said, and Shadow swore under his breath. I grabbed the broom from the nearby pantry and swept up the broken pieces. Shadow frowned mentally in his head and said quietly, "That was my favorite too..." Trinity wobbled toward me and asked if she could help pick up the pieces. I told her that the coffee cup was made of hard glass, and I didn't want her to get cut. Dusk stood next to his father, crossing his arms just like him. Amy and Sonic loved calling him Shadow Jr., and Shadow always flushed with embarrassment. I personally thought it was really cute. Ann-Marie gasped and covered her pudgy hands over her mouth. I giggled at her distress and Shadow chuckled. The others broke into hysterical laughter once more, but Ann-Marie chimed in. "I made some scrumptious omelet for breakfast!" I yelled.
They all rushed to the table, Shadow included, and readied their firms and spoons. I served the kids small omelets, probably about 1/5 the size of Shadow's. They gobbled it down, while I drank some soothing tea. Platinum said, "Mommy, when ware we gwoing to tha pawk?" Shadow looked at his son attentively and patted his head. Platinum purred at the attention and jumped into his father's lap. Shadow's eyes widened and he sighed. He ran his fingers throughout his son's quills. Trinity, Dusk, and Ann-Marie didn't mind the bigger attention span. They weren't jealous one bit. "Yes. We are going to the park at.....what time Zoe?" I thought carefully about the time. Hrmmmm.....why not 3 o'clock? I said this to Shadow and he smiled in agreement. I told the kids to go have some fun and we would call them when we were ready to get them dressed. They left quickly, damn they had their father's speed. I wondered about their use with a Chaos Emerald.........Shadow snapped me abruptly out of my thoughts and asked, "Babe, what's up?" He said lovingly. I smiled and plopped in his lap just like Platinum. "Shadow," I started, "Do the kids have your immortality and your ageless thing? I'm just worried about the consequences of this....." Shadow closed his eyes and kissed my cheek. I ran my hands through his red and black quills, then shared the kiss. But something felt AQUARD somehow......like something was watching me.....

I saw them through my orb. Pathetic idiots. That beautiful woman shouldn't have had that monster's godforsaken kids. SHE SHOULD BE WITH ME! But when the time comes.....they will submit to my command. I left my altar and came outside of the dark chamber my father used to have.
That is before I killed him.
I may be 17, and a satin, but that will not stop me from getting what I want. The saying in my world is, "Devil's creed, devil's need." I left with my usual sickening grin as I hatched a devious plan in my mind. My "friends" from the Opaque Dimension might help me with this. I summoned them, and they came, ready to serve. THAT WOMAN WILL BE MINE!
