-Sonic and Tails stared at the rubble for a while.-
Tails: He can't be gone...
Sonic: We have to look for him!
-They put down the diamond and began moving rocks. They did this until they couldn't lift another rock.-
Sonic: He's not...here...
Knuckles: Who's not here?
Tails: Our friend, Knuckles. He got trapped under the rubble.
Knuckles: I'm sorry for your loss.
Sonic: Wait a second...
-Sonic and Tails turn around and see Knuckles kind of dirty.-
Tails: Knuckles! You're alive!
Knuckles: Of course I'm alive! I can dig remember?
Sonic: I'm glad to see you're alright. Let's get going.
-They take off towards the museum.-
Tails: Look, it's almost sunset! Have we been in there for a whole day?
Sonic: Looks like it.
Knuckles: We should hurry and get to the museum before it closes.
-The ran even faster, though they were slowed down by the massive jewel. They reached the museum as one of the Employees was leaving-
Employee: Sorry, The museum is closed.
Sonic: Let us in. We need to make a trade.
-The employee saw the big diamond. He nodded and let them in.-
Manager: It's you again...What do you want?
Tails: You know what we want.
Manager: the item your going to give me better be expensive...
-The manager turned his chair around and saw the gem as big as Sonic.-
Tails: Is it good enough?
Manager: Hmmm... I don't know...I meet need something else to go with it...
Sonic: What?! This should be more than enough!
Manager: I just don't see it...
-Knuckles grabbed the Manager.-
Knuckles: Listen, We risked our lives trying to get this diamond for you. We are NOT going to get you anything more! Now give us the Chaos Emerald like you promised and we'll all be happy. Or do you need me to pound your face in?
Manager: I'll do whatever you want! Just don't hurt me!
-He walked and got the Chaos Emerald from the exhibit. He gave it to Sonic. The Chaos Emerald zapped Sonic once again, Causing him to fall to his knees again and regain his memory.-
Manager: You really need that emerald. I'm sorry I was so selfish before. My greed got to my head.
Sonic: It's alright, we have the Emerald now. We only need one more.
Tails: What all do you remember now?
Sonic: Everything except from last month. And I still don't know who that eggman character is.
Knuckles: The Month of the clone battle
Sonic: What?
Knuckles: Nothing, You'll remember soon enough. We just need to find that last emerald.
Sonic: You're right, but let's get something to eat. What about the restaurant downtown?
Tails: You mean where Nat's Mom works at?
Sonic: Who?
Knuckles and Tails: uh oh.
