Tails: Knowing Eggman, this might be an awful trick.
-They walk into the room and see the floor missing, except for the first few steps. Hanging from the ceiling are some vines.-
Nikki: This could be fun, we get to swing on vines!
Amy: Remember it's Eggman, So the vines could be fake or rigged to do something awful.
-They nodded and kept their eyes forward, hoping to spot out something. Knuckles walked up to one of the vines and grabbed it firmly. It didn't go lose. He swung it in front of him, hard enough to hit the ceiling.-
Oliver: Why did you do that?
Knuckles: We went to a temple before and the ropes were rigged to let go at certain angles. Have to make sure it's safe or I'll end up like them.
-He pointed at the floor, which were filled with spikes. There parts to robots laying in between them.-
Tails: Looks like they failed and passed. Failed to get to the other side, but Eggman probably made it like that, so it's also a pass.
-Knuckles jumped on one vine and swung to the other. It held tight and then he swung to another vine. It came lose and the bottom swung up. Knuckles was looking at a pair of eyes. Then a mouth opened up and tried to bite him. He jumped towards the platform and half-way made it his legs kicking to get up. Tails and Oliver helped him up.-
Knuckles: Woah! It was a snake!
Amy: How are we going to get across?
Oliver: There has to be a way. Look, it looks like the snake is falling back to sleep. Maybe you have to be quick?
Knuckles: You would have to be as fast as Sonic. That snake was really fast. Has to be something else.
Tails: Look at the skin. The regular vines are green, but the snakes are green with black stripes. Maybe if you only grab the green, we can get by.
Knuckles: I'll give it one more try.
-Knuckles jumped to the first to vines. Then noticed a third vine and jumped to it. He didn't feel any jerking and the bottom didn't stare at him. He jumped from vine to vine to the rest of the way. He grabbed the note and made his way back.-
Knuckles: 'E'
Tails: Still got 7 more rooms. Let's go!
