You know...I'm really thinking that all of this writer stuff is just them trying to appease the DE fans that are probably freaking out right now. Damon was such a jerk to Elena in this episode, even after already MURDERING her brother, and there's no way of denying that. All DE fans can do is sit back and try to justify his actions, even though, in their hearts, they know that Damon has waaayyy crossed the line.


You know what this means to me? Yes, Delena will have a love story. Yes, the writers are trying to reassure the DE fans that it will happen, despite how horrible Damon has been to Elena, so they'll keep watching. But in the end, the writers will be true to what is right and what is staring us in the face. "It will always be Stefan."

Stelena is endgame.

^ I completely agree, there is some lust between Delena but there's pure love between Stelena, that will always be endgame(: Damon just needs to heal, become more human. Then he can find someone to spend eternity with...but its not Elena.

Kevin: I think he has such a long road to haul before he can ever be a viable option in her eyes. He’s done so many horrible things – his attack on Jeremy being the worst. I don’t know how you ever get over such a deliberately evil move. It’s going to take a long time for her to get over that. But as Katherine said, hate is the beginning of most love stories. It was no surprise that we ended the episode with Elena saying “I hate him.” PW: I loved that line.
Kevin: Think about it, it’s romantic comedy 101 – they have to hate each other first, and that will eventually turn itself inside out. But whether or not it’s this season or next season, we’ll have to wait and see.
