Personally i was soooo looking forward to seeing Percy again in this next series but when R.R. didn't put him in the first book for a moment there i felt like putting down the book! But after a while i got used to the other characters and the book started get more intresting.
I guess if he did put Percy in the first book it wouldn't go with the "loosing memory" idea but seriously, isn't that why most of us started the new series? to see Percy again? thank the gods Percy's in the second book. But what gave R.R. the idea to get rid of Percy? i think it's either because:
1. He wanted to create suspence for the reader.
2. Because he was sick of writing about Percy.
3. cuz he ran out of interesting ideas.
And what do you guys think of the new characters: Jason, Piper and Leo? i really like Leo. He's so funny. Piper's also ok. but what about Jason? He's so serious and nothing like Percy. AND it looks like he might be one of the main MAIN characters, which is pretty bad. Most of the times when there was a chapter about Jason i thought to myself "here we go again". But what do you guys think of all this?
