Myria often acts rude and completely inconsiderate, but it's just that - an act. The only person who's ever been able to see through that is Jessie, a Missourian who moved to Florida for a month to live with his grandparents. Right after he moved back to Missouri, a hurricane swept through her town, killing her father but with her surviving. Despite almost being eighteen, she needs a place to stay, or else she'll go into foster care, so she auditions for Total Drama for a place to stay while she waits for her birthday.

PS When she says "Lucky you" is a person quote, she's referring that to the fact that she says that whenever something mentions something good that happened to them, or something happens good to someone else. She can say this sarcastically, rudely, quietly, kindly, happily....
