As usual, I feel the need to give a sex/swearing warning to those who feel uncomfortable with such things. This isn't done in my usual story-format, but rather, in script format.
Let me know what you think in the comments! :D

Adriana: Hm? (0:02)
Branson: I can see where this is going. (0.04)
Adriana: She's really pretty... (0:10)
Lucy: NO. NO. THAT'S NOT WHAT IT MEANS. (0.16)
Branson: LAME! (0:17)
Adriana: so it's one of these... (0:17)
Adriana: Oh there's more? (0:20)
Carter: Not all girls are worried about their hair though... (0.21)
Lucy: I'm going to hunt down these girls and hit them with a fucking shovel. (0.22)
Veto: Okay, this is stupid. (0:22)
Branson: Oh, come on! (0:23)
Adriana: They're doing guys too? (0:25)
Carter: No, no! That's terrible! (0.30)
Lucy: *raises fist* You motherfucker. I'll beat your ass. (0.30)
Branson: You know what, I can't stand this anymore. *stands up* Can we pause the video? Can we... *they pause video* Okay, *ahem* Run like a girl: *runs furiously in place* Fight like a girl: *starts punching and kicking like she knows exactly how to defend herself* Throw like a girl: *makes a strong throwing motion* See? /That's/ how it's supposed to be? No what these twats are doing! *sits down, lets them continue the video* (0:36)
Adriana: Aw! That's so cute! (0:49)
Carter: Yes! Yes! You run as fast as you can, sweetie!
Branson: Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about! (0:50)
Lucy: I always find it funny how children have more sense then adults. (0.56)
Adriana: So cute!! (1:03)
Carter: Hate to break it to you, honey, but you definitely did. (1:10)
Adriana: Wait... what does that mean? (1:14)
Branson: I like that girl. I really like that girl. (1:24)
Lucy: I'm so relieved that children understand that! (1.24)
Adriana: It's true guys... (1:39)
Veto: Oh my god. This is actually sad, I'm tearing up a little (1:51)
Carter: I'm getting a little emotional. *wipes tear from his eye* (1:57)
Adriana: *nods* (2:34)
Branson: Tell it like it is! (2:34)
Veto: *Crying* Preach! (2:35)
Lucy: You go girl! (2:35)
Branson: It does. Or at least it should. (3:01)
Carter: It's funny how this video can apply to gay guys too. People always say "that's so gay" when something is stupid or feminine, and it sucks. Ladies, I feel you. (3:04)
Lucy: See, this video shows the way women should be treated! (End)
Branson: I love this, definitely sharing this on my band's page. (End)
Veto: Now I feel bad for all the times I've ever told somebody like "oh you do that like a girl" (End)

Questions

What was the video about?

Adriana: Um, how girls get those kinds of comments?
Carter: How women are placed with this "like a girl" stereotype, and how unfair that is.
Veto: Something that has to do with girls. It's very sad.
Branson: We need to stop using "Like a girl" as an insult! It's not funny, it's not appropriate, all it does is completely demean half the planet just for your momentary amusement!
Lucy: The video basically just explained the reason why I'm a lesbian. Because men are assholes and place gender roles on us.

This is an "Always" campaign, did you know that?

Carter: I did, yeah.
Lucy: Really? *pauses* A line of beauty products did something right.
Adriana: Yeah, they kind of said it at the end.
Branson: Didn't it say in the video? Well, whatever.
Veto: No. I thought Always was just a thing for like pads and shit.

Did you find it interesting how the older girls still followed this "like a girl" stereotype when asked to demonstrate acting "like a girl?"

Carter: Yeah, that was a little heartbreaking, to be honest.
Adriana: Yeah.
Veto: No. It was just sad.
Lucy: Yep...
Branson: They shouldn't! It's ridiculous! Girls need to stop treating themselves as if they're some porcelain doll for boys to goggle at, because they aren't!

Why do you think that is?

Branson: Because some twats decided to treat being "like a girl" as meaning the same thing as being completely incompetent!
Carter: I guess because girls have always been treated this way.
Adriana: Because they've been told it so many times it gets stuck in their heads.
Lucy: Because girls have been shown that "acting like a girl" essentially just means acting like a little bitch.
Veto: Because they're sad. They are broken on the inside. This is there way of showing that they want help. Why is no one helping them? Poor girls. *sniffle*

Do you think it's mainly men who say "like a girl?"

Adriana: Yeah, basically.
Lucy: Pretty damn much.
Branson: Definitely! Why would girls want to insult themselves?
Veto: Men or really manly women.
Carter: I don't want to speak on behalf of the entire male population, but yes.

What do YOU think that "like a girl" means?

Lucy: It means shit all. Girls can be just as masculine or tough or courageous or powerful as guys can!
Veto: "Like a girl" means to be a wuss, basically. I'm sorry.
Carter: To be yourself.
Branson: It means kicking some real arse! *kicks at the screen*
Adriana: Well, I don't really know. It's like saying "like a person".

When do you think that using "like a girl" became an insult?

Veto: I feel like deep down it always was--Oh my god no, I'm sorry that's terrible. I don't know.
Branson: Being a girl has been cause for prejudice for years. It's nothing new, but that doesn't mean it can't become something old.
Carter: Women have always been viewed as the weaker sex, which is really unfair!
Adriana: Since that time when women couldn't get on sports teams.
Lucy: I think it's because guys just instantly assume we're weaker than them; but I swear, if you were to bring in some misogynistic asshole who thinks he's stronger than me, I'd beat his ass.

Do you think that "like a girl" should be used in this negative way?

Adriana: No, because it doesn't make sense.
Lucy: Of course not! "Like a girl" shouldn't be used, period!
Branson: Absolutely not! I can destroy most men in a fist-fight if I ever decide to! Being a girl has nothing to do with physical ability!
Carter: No way! Like the video said, let's turn it into a nice thing!
Veto: Nooo! It just hurts everyone's feelings. It should be a good thing, especially when someone says it to like a guy whos trying to be like a girl, y'know what I mean? Because then its like "oh thanks, I hope so". Like if someone were to say that to me, I'd be like oh yay, most of the time. This is completely off topic. I talk a lot, I'm sorry.
