I held my breath. I adjusted my goggles. I tightened my black swim cap. I got onto the diving board, slowly and cautiously. I loosened my body before my big dive.
The timers got their stopwatches. A voice came over the speakers.
"Swimmers, get ready," I shook my body. "Set," I relaxed and thought of the pure heaven as I would dive, and break the surface. The moment I was waiting for would soon come. And...it did. "GO!!!"
The crowd roared. We were off to a quick start, I supposed. I thought of nothing but fire, fire, and only fire. I moved my arms in blind fury. I kicked my feet like I was a madman. I flipped, and I was on my 2nd lap. Swim, swim, swim. Paddle, paddle, paddle. Kick, kick, kick. That was all I was concerned about at this point.
I flipped once again. A perfect flip, and I was on my 3rd lap. I continued rapidly swimming freestyle. I was almost done. Almost.
I flipped again. I was on my last lap. Nothing mattered to me any more than just swimming, getting the chance to feel the cool water between my fingertips. There was some space between me and the wall. I swam, swam, and I FINISHED!!!
I broke the surface. I looked up at the crowd, beaming. I waved at them wildly. The timer in front of me said, "That's...amazing. That's just amazing." He stared at me with his mouth gaped. "That has never been done before in Olympic trial history. Never. Never." He paused a few minutes before going on to say, "Well done. You have 1st place with a time of...40.28. That has just never been done before." I walked over to the judges. All of them very proudly said that I definitely broke the world record. And...I was in the Olympics. I qualified.
Okay, now it's time to introduce myself. My name is Casey. Casey Wilmington, and I'm proud to say that I'm a tomboy. Not exactly one of your girls who put on lipstick and talk about fashion all day. And as you should know by now, my favorite sport is swimming, and my favorite all-time swimmer is Michael Phelps.
But well...it was something that happened one night...that changed my whole life.

In class we had to say if we would be a protagonist or antagonist in what genre? This is what I put.
I would be the protagonist in a realistic-fiction novel because I would want it to be sort of realistic, but not completely. My character's name would be Sage, she would have electric lime green eyes, and fiery red hair. I would want to be Sage because, 1, I LOVE green eyes, 2, I LOVE red hair, and 3, I like the names Lily, Luna, and Sage. Sage would have a funky-fun, colorful personality. She wouldn't be perfect, but have enough spunk and spirit to keep moving on. Her favorite color would be an electric blue, and she would love fried chicken. Her two best friends would be named Luna and Lily.
[i]Sorry if ya didn't like it, it might seem trashy to you, but that's okay! Everyone's got an opinion.

French Pancakes
A pancake, smothered in maple syrup, folded in half twice, topped with triple chocolate ice cream and whipped cream. Quite simple to make. If it's a small shop-bought pancake (Talk about lazy!), then you don't have to fold it over.
Merangue nests
Everyone loves these (Or at least everone that's lived; you haven't lived if you haven't tried one and you're insane if you hate them!) But what to put on/in them? Toffee ice cream, cream and mixed berries.
Chess chocolate cake
A chocolate cake with white iced squares to create a chess board. Use plastic peices to decorate in a checkmate.
Trifle
Budoir fingers, rasberry jelly with real rassberries trapped inside, custard and cream. What more can I say?
Keep checking back for main courses, starters, breakfasts and more, but till then, BYE!

What do you want to do?
We run upstairs, turn on the TV and say,
Hey, I'm bored, so whaddya wanna do???
So I don't do it the normal way, so what
Instead, I go home each day and I open up my list
Of how to save the world
I know it's childish, but what do you care?
At least it's better than doing nothing at all
At least I do something than nothing at all
What? Call me naive, crazy, a baby, I don't care
No, I don't care about what you say about me
Cuz I don't wake up every morning and say,
What's today? What's today?
What's tomorrow? What's tomorrow?
I just nod my head and say it's gonna be fine
Cuz it's a brand-new day
