I held my breath. I adjusted my goggles. I tightened my black swim cap. I got onto the diving board, slowly and cautiously. I loosened my body before my big dive.
The timers got their stopwatches. A voice came over the speakers.
"Swimmers, get ready," I shook my body. "Set," I relaxed and thought of the pure heaven as I would dive, and break the surface. The moment I was waiting for would soon come. And...it did. "GO!!!"
The crowd roared. We were off to a quick start, I supposed. I thought of nothing but fire, fire, and only fire. I moved my arms in blind fury. I kicked my feet like I was a madman. I flipped, and I was on my 2nd lap. Swim, swim, swim. Paddle, paddle, paddle. Kick, kick, kick. That was all I was concerned about at this point.
I flipped once again. A perfect flip, and I was on my 3rd lap. I continued rapidly swimming freestyle. I was almost done. Almost.
I flipped again. I was on my last lap. Nothing mattered to me any more than just swimming, getting the chance to feel the cool water between my fingertips. There was some space between me and the wall. I swam, swam, and I FINISHED!!!
I broke the surface. I looked up at the crowd, beaming. I waved at them wildly. The timer in front of me said, "That's...amazing. That's just amazing." He stared at me with his mouth gaped. "That has never been done before in Olympic trial history. Never. Never." He paused a few minutes before going on to say, "Well done. You have 1st place with a time of...40.28. That has just never been done before." I walked over to the judges. All of them very proudly said that I definitely broke the world record. And...I was in the Olympics. I qualified.
Okay, now it's time to introduce myself. My name is Casey. Casey Wilmington, and I'm proud to say that I'm a tomboy. Not exactly one of your girls who put on lipstick and talk about fashion all day. And as you should know by now, my favorite sport is swimming, and my favorite all-time swimmer is Michael Phelps.
But well...it was something that happened one night...that changed my whole life.

One of my songs I wrote.
Luv is stronger than a whole red brick wall
Luv is stranger than a bird 9000 feet tall
When you compare a object with love
You'll see it will never fit on like a glove
With love you'll see big consequences
But you'll never ever finish your sentence
Love is really just too much stress for some
I think their crazy why look so glum
People just don't believe in love
But they always have to push everyone and shove
Love is wrong
Love is not
Love is right
Love is tight
Love is strange
Love can change
In a range
That's why I'm singing this song

To celebrate my triumphant return to True Writers, I'll be sharing some super-exclusive content with all of you. Anyone that's known me from before knows that I don't share this info lightly. This little snippet is your first look at the exciting events I have planned for the summer.
-"The Tail of the Royal Line". A little conspiracy I recently discovered among my notes. Worth a read for anyone who likes twisted plots.
-I will be revealing the table of contents for all three Shadow Trilogy books in mid-August
-"Harry Potter and the Seven Horcruxes," a sixty-three chapter fanfic, will debut towardsthe end of the month. Fair warning: there's more chapters planned.
This was just a small sample of my plans for the coming weeks. I do realize that I've been gone a long time, but I hope this new content will soften theblows aimed in my direction.
With love,
The Ever-Present Jo
