Chapter 5

Something wet touches my face. I open my eyes a little. Wow. That was a big wolf. Huh. A wolf. I scream, jump up, and tripped backwards. I fall on my back. It knocks the wind out of me. Then I remember the wolf. I sit up. Whoa. That thing was huge. It just stared at me. I stared back. I didn't even breath. I looked into the eyes of the huge wolf, and I realized they were Nick's eyes. He turned back into a human. My mouth fell open. Not just because he had no clothes on, but because he just turned from that animal into a HUMAN!! I couldn't even say anything. He took a step twords me. I move a step back." Kris I'm not gonna hurt you" Nick says softly. I shut my eyes." Can you please put something on" I say. It was kind of hard to pay attention to what he was saying when he had his shirt off. He was back in seconds with clothes on. Okay good. Now I could pay attention. I get up." Well I think that would of been nice to know a little bit sooner" I say." Yeah sorry about...that" he says. He was blushing like crazy. I hide my grin." Yeah next time don't try to give me a heart attack, because you almost did" I say." Uh yea sorry about the whole licking your cheek thing, I didn't mean to suprise you" Nick says. I turn around. "You did a lot more than suprise me" I mutter to myself." So this is your secret I'm guessing" I say." Yep" he says." Where are we? Were are the others?" I ask." Just over there, Luke still hasn't woke up. Kris you've been out for almost a week" Nick said." I wonder why?! You must of hit me pretty dang hard then" I say." It wasn't all from my punch, something else was making you stay under" Nick muttered." That's nice to know" I say." Yeah I'm sorry about that to I just-" A bomb explodes about 10feet from where we were walking. I go flying forward. I hit the ground a few feet away from where the bomb exploded. My right ear exploded with pain. I blinked a few times. A black object coming twords me. I couldn't move fast enough and the object grabed me by my neck, slamming me into a tree. Then I saw it was a demon. Oh no. I tried to get free, but I couldn't the demons grip was like steal. The demon got closer to my face, It began to suck the life out of me. I felt my life slipping out of my grip. Then the demon howled and threw me aside. I tummbled down a hill. I hit the bottom. To weak to move. I rolled over onto my back. Come on! Get up Kris! I yelled at myself. I stood up. Everything tilting for a second." Kris!" Jackson yelled." I'm alright!" I yell back. I run up the hill. Where in the hell did I get all of this energy from?! I get to the top. I see 1 demon sucking the life out of Luke. Oh hell no. I run twords them. I see my sword. Awesome. I grab ahold of it, I cut the demons head off. It dissapears. Someone flies into me and we fall forward. Guess who it was. Nick. He gets up." Sorry!" He says. I see it first before anyone else. I slam into Nick. The place we were standing near blew up. Dirt, leaves, and wood fly everywere. I cough. Once again something else slams into me. Then I feel the pericing of something metal entering my stomach and go threw me. It was like fireworks. Everything felt like it exploded in my body. I saw the demon. It sword was in me. They had very deadly swords. Like poisons swords." No!!!!!!" Nick screamed. One of the gang killed the demon standing infront of me. Tears had filled my eyes. I dropped to my knee's. Everyone running twords me. My eyes closed and I fell backwards. If I had died, I never thanked Nick for helping us escape, and I never told Luke that I loved him...
