9. The Semi-Sweet Taste of Reunion
Renesmee

I couldn't sit up. I couldn't even move my eyes. The angel looked into them for a fleeting second, with bright crimson eyes. In that same second they grew darker until they were the dark brown I knew. I wish my energy would return. The angel placed his hand over my heart.
"No," he whispered. "No, not my love. NO!!!"
He screamed with rage and ran at Mark.
"You! I saw you! You were killing her, now she's dead! She's dead!!!" he screamed.
"Renesmee asked for this, personally, Jacob. She wouldn't take no for an answer. She wanted the baby out before she committed suicide. I told her it would kill her. She said, 'Even better,' and forced me to do it," Mark informed him.
"Please, tell me this is some trick."
"I'm sorry, Jacob. If you came faster, it would've been possible to reverse this."
Jacob turned to me. I gasped in a breath of air.
"Renesmee!" he sighed. Then his face fell. His hand went over my heart again. Then it went to my stomach. I felt a strong kick. The baby was fully developed.
"Renesmee, how could you be so stupid?" Jacob demanded.
"You should think yourself lucky I love you to the point I'd kill myself," I fought back.
"But risk the kid? That's stupid. We cannot bring any harm to them."
My eyes narrowed.
"So, you just want kids. 'No harm to the kid, they may be a great dog in the future.'"
"No! Renesmee, I didn't mean that. Please, this is so unlike you."
Mark interrupted, making me even more annoyed.
"Um, Jacob, she's going through a possible mood swing," he said. Jacob burst out laughing. I whacked him in the back of the head, hard.
"Ow," he complained, rubbing his head.
I was about to laugh when the baby kicked me. But this felt like no other kick I've ever endured. I gasped in pain. It felt like the baby was... kicking it's way out of my womb.
Jacob turned to me,eyes wide. His hand grabbed mine. I let out a stream of thoughts. The kick, my theory, and finally, a ton of screams that I did not want to let out. Some of them had some minor cuss words.
"Mark! She's giving birth!" Jacob screamed.
Mark grabbed the bottle he took from the table downstairs and forced my mouth open. He poured the sweet tasting contents down my throat. I felt my eyelids growing heavy. I still felt the pain, but soon it was lifted away and I was fast asleep.

Jacob

Renesmee fell asleep. I knew I had no time to ask what the heck that stuff was. Mark got another bottle out of a drawer. He got a few thick drops onto his hands and rubbed them together, making them transparent. He made me do the same.
"The womb is abnormally big. My theory, she's carrying multiples," he said.
He placed his hand on Renesmee's stomach, and it disappeared. It reappeared carrying a writhing little baby with green eyes. I did what he did and took out a screaming baby girl with chocolate-brown eyes. I handed her to Mark. I was going to ask for a solution to wash my hands when Mark gasped and placed his hands back into the womb. Out came another baby, but this one was quiet. It wasn't screaming, nor was it moving around. It just looked surprised. I looked closer and saw it was a baby boy. He looked at me with my-shade-of-brown eyes.
"Jeffery," I said. "And Karrie."
"What're you naming this little guy?" Mark asked, holding up the first baby. A baby boy.
"Renesmee can decide that. But first, how can I get this stuff off?"
"Use alcohol."
I took the alcohol from the medicine cabinet in the bathroom and rubbed it out. Mark came in and did the same. Then I ran back into the room. I felt my heart go silent, but I was still in the room, living and breathing. I looked around to see the first boy staring at me. They were already sitting up against the bed. They were also clothed. Mark must've conjured up the clothes while I was in the bathroom rubbing out the strange solution.
"Daddy, my brother's telling you Mommy's heart stopped," a girl's voice rang in my head. I saw Karrie looking at me wildly. I ran to Renesmee. Her heart wasn't beating.
"Mark! I need a needle!" I yelled. A needle suddenly appeared in mid-air. I took some blood from my arm and pushed it into Renesmee's heart. It started beating again.
"The blood will wear off, but by then she'll be awake and healthy," I told a surprised Mark. To prove my point, Renesmee stirred. I ran out to call Edward.
"Charlie?" Edward answered, confused.
"No, Jacob. Caller ID. The babies are born. No time to explain. Get over here, immediately."
I hung up and waited. Through the window I saw Bella, Edward, Alice, and Jasper run up the driveway. I opened the door for them.
"Jacob, you said the baby was born?" Bella asked.
"Babies," I corrected. "C'mon, I'll show you."
I entered to see Renesmee awake and holding Jeffery. She looked up at me. Then her face fell when she saw her parents enter.

After about half an hour of being scolded, Renesmee and I showed them the babies. Alice was holding Karrie, planning her first closet, I suppose, Jasper was holding the first baby, and I held the calm little Jeffery. Jasper kept wincing in pain. Alice looked at him weird.
"I keep feeling a sharp stab in my chest," Jasper groaned.
"Oh, dear, let me hold him," Renesmee laughed. When the baby was out of his arms, Jasper rubbed the area where his heart should've been. I looked at the baby in surprise.
"He can make you feel something physically, but it's all in the mind," Renesmee explained. "Like Jasper, he can control what you feel, but his version is physical. He can also feel something you feel, physically."
Jasper went wide eyed. Alice laughed, making Karrie clap her hands. The first baby started to look at Jeffery in my arms. He squinted at him. Jeffery narrowed his eyes. The first baby started to cry. I looked to Edward for an explanation. He laughed.
"It seems Jeffery has a shield. More like a mirroring shield. He can protect himself and others, and send the same attack back to the sender, using their power against them," he explained. "Jeffery just sent the stabbing pain back to the first baby. What're you naming him, again?"
Renesmee thought about it.
"I'm thinking Casper," she said. "It sounds like Jasper, and, after all, his power is similar to his."
"I'm honored," Jasper laughed. We all started to laugh with him.
"Casper, the friendly ghost..." I sang.
"Don't make me come over there," Renesmee laughed.
"Okay, you two, Karrie's falling asleep," Alice warned us.

Chapter 1:PARTY
I WAS NINETY-NINE POINT NINE PERCENT SURE I WAS dreaming.
The reasons I was so certain were that, first, I was standing in a bright shaft of sunlight–the
kind of blinding clear sun that never shone on my drizzly new hometown in Forks,
Washington–and second, I was looking at my Grandma Marie. Gran had been dead for six
years now, so that was solid evidence toward the dream theory.
Gran hadn't changed much; her face looked just the same as I remembered it. The skin was
soft and withered, bent into a thousand tiny creases that clung gently to the bone underneath.
Like a dried apricot,...

Russet Noon - The Tribute Sequel to Breaking Dawn
A spectre is haunting the web -- the spectre of Russet Noon. All the powers of the internet have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: link, link, link, link, link, link, link, link, link, and the list goes on and on to include worldwide bloggers too numerous to count.

Two things result from this fact:

I. The Russet Noon controversy is already acknowledged by all internet powers to be itself a link.

II. It is high time that Lady Sybilla's revolutionary movement should openly, in the face of the whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery...

New Moon isn't my favorite book, but I thought it would be interresting to read Alice's POV for a change. =) Hope you enjoy it! It's pretty long...sorry...

"She should be here in about ten more seconds," I told my brother, focusing my eyes on the entrance to the parking lot.
Edward rolled his eyes. "Take it easy on her," he warned me. "You know Bella. This day will be really hard for her. You know what she wants more than anything--" He broke off and clenched his teeth. "She won't make it too difficult for you tonight, Edward," I tried to comfort him. "She'll only ask a few times." He grimaced...

A little cry woke us both the next morning. "What's that?" I asked groggily. I checked the bedside clock. In my opinion, it was too early to get up. A second cry joined the first, and yesterday came back in a rush. I bolted up in bed, and the rush of blood made me dizzy. "Oh!" I stumbled out of bed and nearly...

"In regards to the question, "Is Breaking Dawn the last book in the Twilight Saga?" The answer is, "I don’t know." It’s the last one for a while, at least. Of course there will be Midnight Sun, but that’s covering old material. I’m not sure if I will go forward with the Twilight characters–I’m a little burned out right now. Ask me again in two years."

"Breaking Dawn is in the editing phase. It it tentatively set for release Fall 2008. It could be later if we hit a snag in editing. Usually editing takes longer than a few months, but both I and my editors will be putting in lots of...
