Hi everybody! I usually do not introduce myself very often (even when I never get asked to in the first place because that's just me) but here I am, DJ08 (she/her pronouns)! Sorry guys but I am not telling you in full detail because it's a waste of time for me but there are franchises that I do enjoy including:

-Good old Utapri (I stan Ai, Tokiya, and Eiji for your consideration)
-Enstars (Ensemble Stars...GO!)
-Idolmaster (It's crazy but exciting)
-Love Live (µ'sicforver!!!)
-Project Sekai (this game is still good after two years)
-Death Note (I just started watching it last weekend)
-Vocaloid (Cool, nothing to see)
-Code Geass (I'm impressed how relevant the show is after 15+ years)

Well, we went through the likings of well, me, so now here's the fun part, telling you all about today's opinion on a group called...Heavens! To put it in perspective, Heavens were originally three members during the end of season two (their first song being Heaven's Gate by Otori Eiichi, Kira Sumeragi, and Nagi Mikado) but that changed in the fourth season (you know what I am talking about) with the inclusion of those DAMM duet songs by the other four members and the original three (Mighty Aura is a f**king classic and already my favorite), thus giving us the Heavens we as the fanbase knew them today, with classics such as One Day, Girax2★Seven and Ai wo Sasageyo ~the secret Shangri-la~. Yet while both Quartet★Night and St☆rish were involved in the Christmas special (or OVA, whatever you want to call it), this leaves me with this question, could Heavens get a Christmas special/OVA too and if they did, what could it be about? Today, we will look at the possibilities in which Heavens got a Christmas special and some of the significant things that could be explained or shown with each character.

Let’s put it this way, no one has seen the OVA in years since the end of the second season and that being included in the Japanese DVD/Bluray volumes with Maji Love 2000% being called Shining Star Xmas, which never aired on that Christmas day in 2013 (some were lucky but we were not). We learn more about each idol and their childhoods, though further expanding from the anime from the first two seasons. If that was not enough to convince you, Hakura Nanami (the composer for Quartet★Night and St☆rish before meeting Heavens) plans the whole thing with her friends and composes (remember she had no experience of creating music before the anime and lived with her grandmother) Shining Star Xmas, the title of the Christmas special. As for Heavens, what if the same thing happened but we learn way more about each character’s past coincidentally through those childhood memories, and could some things can be cleared up? Could there be more questions than answers for them and possibly Hakura depending on if she had a childhood that was never fully told through her and her only? It may be unclear what the Heavens Christmas special would be or even be about but some significant ideas can be explored further or answered within the series.

Now, let’s think about the protagonist of Uta No Prince Sama: Maji Love anime for a second, Nanami Hakura. In the anime, it’s revealed that she lived with her grandmother out in the countryside at the end of the first season, though little is known about her. Remembering that some storylines need closure shows the growth upon which the show and even the franchise are based. Imagine if no storylines in any form of media had no closure, then nothing would make sense from the very beginning towards the end but instead be a waste of time for anyone watching. Giving Hakura much-needed closure for her can be a perfect idea for the special because not only we can look at what happened in the past for Hakura but also give a better understanding of her significance to the franchise. Honestly, I think Hakura was abandoned at birth by the death of her mother and her father cheated on her mom, so that’s why Hakura lives with her grandmother but it could be something else as far as I am concerned.

As for the rest of the group, Heavens are truly awesome as who they are when it comes to season four, although many fans can argue elsewhere. The only problem with them is mainly what made the other four members want to be idols in the first place, mainly Otori Eiji, Eiichi’s younger brother. Perhaps that may be the special could provide not only his childhood and how his voice transcended the people around him and his kindness but also further explain why he and the other members are part of the group firsthand. To be fair, we did have explanations when meeting these characters in Maji Love Legend Star but only a few made much sense to viewers, while as an audience allows us to figure out what happened, such examples include One Piece, Dragon Ball, and even many other animes in the past decade or more so. If Uta No Prince-Sama were to join the many anime shows with this type of strategy, imagine the infinite possibilities the fandom would come up with as a way to figure it out.

Finally, music plays also an important part in the franchise since Maji Love 1000% in 2010/2011 and the rise of popularity during the 2010s alongside Love Live! School Idol Project, which coincidently released a few days after Uta No Prince-sama's debut. The fact we had better songs since Heavens started shows growth for what made each group, including Quartet★Night and St☆rish, special to all of us. Haruka Nanami, while could compose a song for Heavens during the Christmas special, might have a chance to sing again since Maigo No Koroko in the first season, though I highly doubt it if it did happen, then I would probably see this as the best episode since the final episode of the Utapri anime (which coordinates with the Maji Love Kingdom movie, so that makes sense). Not much to say about this part but I think that music would also play an important role in the special if it gets a chance to be created sometime soon.

So, in conclusion, these are some of the main factors that should be considered when someone brings up or talks about making Heaven's Christmas special. To me, Heavens has been the huge standout since season two, and just watching all three of them grow as a group together feels so good and special. Hopefully, I will do more of these articles and maybe news updates but for now, let me your ideas on if another Christmas special with Heavens is possible and maybe your insight.
