Ah Video Games club, it's been WAY too long. When was I last here, when I made my Top 10 Things I Hate The Most In Video Games? Man, it's been freaking forever.

Anyways, so I've been thinking recently about the GBA game Megaman Battle Chip challenge and remembered how much hate the game got overall.

And dare I ask........ WHY?

Welcome to Random Rants! Where I nitpick the mother-living hell out of whatever I so damn desire. Sound good to you? IT FUCKING BETTER.

Back onto our topic, I replayed MMBCC earlier to see if I was missing anything on why the game was so hated.

And yep. I still fucking LOVE this game. Soooo, what the hell society? Am I missing something? Am I fucking insane? Probably. XD

But my GOD, the community seems to fucking DESPISE this game. I mean yeah, it's a lot different from the other Battle Network games, but does that REALLY make it bad?

And that's pretty much everyone's complaint when you think about it. "It's too different!" "I can't play this!" "Why did they change the formula?" "Fuck this confusing game!"

Wassup everyone. I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 the other day and I really enjoy that game although that HD Final mix collection continues to elude me T.T But I shall find it one day!

Anyway I thought I would make a list of my favourite worlds in Kingdom Hearts 2 and unlike Kingdom Hearts 1 where I disliked quite a few worlds I loved almost every world in Kingdom Hearts 2 so I'm here to rank them from least favourite to favourite.

Of course this is just my opinion your favourite will be different to mine and I'm sorry if it's not yours. Also yes, there is spoilers so if you haven't played then you should stop reading.

#15-Atlantica
Oh boy what a shocker. Yes this is my least favourite world. This world just isn't fun, I mean a musical game ? Really ? If this was in 100 Acre Wood I wouldn't have minded as much but we really had to do this ? Yes, if you want the Ultima weapon and the secret ending you have to complete this world. If you're just playing through the game you can skip this since this has no real story. Just the Little Mermaid which I loved, but only when I was watching it. I didn't...

Lately all I seem to care about would be Dragon Age. The universe, the characters, the story, everything. So here is a list of my favourite DA characters :) Please note that this list will be excluding the Warden, the Champion and the Inquisitor. So no sassy-Hawke here I'm afraid!

Honourable mention: Dog.
My mabari Barkspawn is a cutie.

10. Sandal
Enchantment! Ah yes, the supposedly simple (although I'm not buying it) Dwarf with a talent for enchantments comes in at number 10. He is such a sweet character and many times I've found myself laughing at his odd charm. And yes, do I find the fact that he's voiced by Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke Uchiha) to be incredibly amusing? Yes. Yes I do.

9. Dorian
I wont lie, I was concerned about starting Inquisition because I hadn't clicked with any of the characters that Bioware showed off before the game released. How wrong I was when Dorian showed up. Such a charming, humourous and confident character. I loved how Bioware handled Dorian's...

This is a compilation of interesting trivia stuff about Playtonic Games' upcoming platformer, Yooka-Laylee. I've put this on the game's respective spot too, but thought you guys here would be interested too!

Protagonist Design
The protagonists of the game are, of course, Yooka and Laylee. Yooka is a male chameleon; he is the sensible, straight man of the duo, and his personality will hopefully be something that the player will be able to relate to. Laylee is a female bat; she is the crazy one of the duo and will deliver a lot of the humour with her witty remarks. The two characters have a lot of things in common with Steve Mayles' previous (and famous) game franchise, Banjo-Kazooie.

Chris Sutherland, the voice actor behind both Banjo and Kazooie, is confirmed to be voicing both characters in this brand new duo too!

It's been mentioned that, at some point during preproduction, there was a possibility that one of the protagonists would end up being a tiger (presumably Yooka, being the larger of the two).

Video game characters. There are THOUSANDS of them. Some are funny, some are annoying, some are great, and others… not so much (Makarov) But, then comes along those video game characters. The ones that are so well written, and so perfectly executed, that you want to see more of these characters. And so, today, I am going to list my top ten- no- Top Fifteen of my favorite video game characters. Now, a few rules before we begin. Only one game per franchise, and only from games that I have played. Lastly, I will be spoiling all of these games (Persona 4, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Trauma Team, Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, Red Dead Redemption, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots) Now, with all that said, lets start the list.

#15: Luigi from Super Mario Bros.

You know, ever since 1985, Mario has been the most popular video game character ever. There is not a single person who has no idea who Mario is. But, what about his brother, Luigi. In every single game, Luigi has been pushed to the side while his brother takes all the glory. And that’s not a joke. In Super Mario 64 for the DS, when playing as...

In video games, there is always an ending that is left to leave the player satisfied. The good guy wins, wins the girl, rides off into the sunset, the whole good ending stuff. But, then there are the endings that are portrayed by your actions and what you do. Sure, you may have been a prick to everyone, but at least you win in the end. But, then there are the endings that are so bad, that you just can’t help but feel disappointed in yourself for getting an ending like that. So, today, I will talk about the most awful bad endings in video games. First, when I say bad endings, I don’t mean the endings suck, I mean these are the endings that you get for making poor choices, and the game is punishing you for it. Next, I am only including games that I have played. Also, only one game per franchise. And last, this list contains massive spoilers. I honestly didn’t think I had to say that, but, there is the warning anyway. So, yeah, spoilers ahead. So, with that said, lets start the list

Hello there! Welcome to a new series of mine where I take a good old gander at some classic games from my childhood. I'll say what I like, what I don't like, what you can do to beat the game, and how good the title is overall.

This is like a guide AND a review, so keep that in mind while reading. Hope you enjoy!

Also, since episode #1 of this series is one of the hardest goddamn games to exist on this side of the Earth, there will be profanity in this article.

Everywhere.

SO yeah, today's title is a Sega Genesis game by the name of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Released on November 26, 1993 on the Sega Genesis in North America, this game takes place in presumably Mobius, but it's never exactly stated.

Although one interesting fact is that a lot of the robots in this game are from the first episode of the Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog cartoon, so there's an easter egg right off the bat.

In this game you also don't really control any character. You never see an image of who you're playing as, you never talk, you don't even get mentioned. The robots all just say "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" And decide to...

Another Top 10.....
(Will combine both parts one and two later so I don't end up clogging this club. I just really wanted to get this part out for personal reasons.)

Video Games! Whether you like them or not, you have to admit there's a surprising amount of depth to them! They take you to another world and make you feel like a hero! An epic bad-ass who can conquer anything as long as s/he believes in him/herself!

Or they make us a monkey fighting balloons, that works too.

But sadly, not every game is good. And that's actually understandable! Nothing's perfect, and some games had excuses for being below average!

But there are some moments on this holy planet where hell rises from its grave..... They send us a god-awful disgrace against humanity that should be eradicated from the face of the Earth.....

Bit over-dramatic there. :P

Basic idea, games can be terrible, and today I'm covering the worst one's out there. And now, without further ado, let'sa go! ^___^

Power-ups are always there to help us. They give you that one boost of energy you need to help you defeat an enemy, solve a puzzle, or to just be awesome. But, what about those power-ups that are so bad, that you want to avoid them at all costs. Well, these are the ten power-ups that I find to be the most useless. Now, before I start, the rules are simple. When I look at power-ups, I look at items that are either temporarily, or help increase a trait of yours a little. If the item never runs out and is permanent, then it is is not going to be on this list, because it is more of a weapon than a power-up. Also, only from games that I play, and only one per franchise. Now, with that said, lets start the list

#10: All Night’s Mask from Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask - Now, even though this may not be a power-up, it certainly isn’t a weapon, but since no one can really decide, I am going to put it on this list, but only at number ten. Now, what is the All Night’s Mask so useless. Well, sure, you get a Piece of Heart for it, but, the sidequest is so boring. All you do is listen to Granny talk to you. Sure, she does give some...

Almost every video game has those small mini-games that can be a lot of fun. Hell, half the time, there more fun than the main game. In fact, there so much fun, that they could possibly be there own games. It’s happened before, like with Resident Evil Mercenaries. So, today, I am going to talk about my top seven mini games that can be there own games. Now, why seven instead of the usual ten. Because seven is all I could think of. Now, the rules are simple. Only one game per franchise, of course, and only from games that I played. So, that means that the Nazi Zombie Mini-Game is out. Also, no mini-games that DID get there own games, like… Well, Resident Evil Mercenaries. Now, with that said, lets start the list

#7: Terror is Reality from Dead Rising 2 - Sure, this may be it’s own game technically, but it isn’t its own game, so I still count it as a mini-game. Terror is Reality is a game show in Dead Rising 2, where players fight off zombies for money. The more zombies you kill, the more money you get. I can really see this being a fun multiplayer party game. You can fight off zombies with all sorts of weapons, and you can use...

A lot of video game characters have a lot of occupations. Much like real life. However, there are those video game characters who really suck at their jobs. So, today, I am going to talk about the ten video game characters who are not very good at their jobs. Now, the rules are simple. Only one game per franchise. However, for one game in particular, I am excluding my play before put rule, just so I can put it here. Now, with all that said, lets start the list.

#10: Isabelle from Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Being the assistant of the new mayor, you’d think you’d try to remember every last detail. But, no. Isabelle is very forgetful, and will always forget very important things until the last minute. Heck, she even says that you become mayor. and yet, you weren’t supposed to become mayor, yet the old mayor just says to be mayor. Now, even though Isabelle is very forgetful. she is lower on the list because she can be very helpful, and she does try her hardest to get the job done

Now, there are a ton of video game bosses. And, even though I already made a top ten fun video game bosses, I thought, “Why not look at bad ones”. And, so, that is what I am going to do. Now, before I begin, here are some rules. First off, only one game per franchise, and all of these bosses are going to be from games that only I have played. Also, I made an old terrible bosses list, so, I am not going to put any of the bosses from that list on this list. As much as I want to put Lucien on this list, I will not to avoid sounding repetitive. Now, with all that said, lets start the list

#10: Eggman (First) from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - Now, even though the second is the worst out of the two, I already talked about it, so, here is a fight that is just as bad. In this boss fight, you need to shoot at Eggman. And, how easy is it? Hold down the fire button, and that’s it… I’m dead serious, he doesn’t move, at least not fast enough, and he will rarely attack you in the amount of time it takes you to beat him. Seriously, why are all of Eggman’s boss fights terrible

Hello Everyone, and, today, I want to compare the two biggest stars in gaming. That would be, Mr. Video Game, Mario “Jumpman” Mario and The Blue Dude with and Attitude, Sonic the Hedgehog. Now, these two have been fighting since the 90’s, even when Sega moved to Nintendo consoles, they still find a way to challenge each other, even if it is in Olympic sports. So, now, I want to compare what one does better than the other. Lets Start with The 5 Things Mario Does Better than Sonic

#5: Mario Was The Original Platformer - Now, when the NES came out, one of the first games to grace it was Super Mario Bros. It was a game that revolutionized the gaming genre. Sure, it may be nothing by today’s standards, but trust me, everyone who had a Nintendo owned this game. Mario was actually the one that got Sonic to compete with is, as Sega saw the success of a platform legend, and thought, “Hey, lets do the same thing”, and made Sonic, Mario’s rival. So, Sonic may be a good game, but Mario was the one who started it all.

Now, what is a video game boss? What makes a boss different than enemies is that the boss is more challenging than the enemies (Most of the time, anyway), and are made to test your skill and must be defeated before you can move on. Some are easy, some are hard, some are SUPER GODDAMN ANNOYING, but, best of all, they can be the highlight of any game. Now, I am going to tell you all my top ten favorite video game bosses. First, the rules. These are going to be from games that only I play, and these are going to be one game per franchise. Also, I am not including final bosses. That is a list for another time. Now, with all that said, lets start the list

#10: King Kaliente from Super Mario Galaxy - Now, even though Megaleg was real fun, he was… a bit too easy. King Kaliente, however, is a bit more challenging. When you fight him, he will spit out fireballs, and occasionally, balls that you need to launch back at him. However, after a few hits, he will begin knocking the balls back at you, so it turns into a tennis match of death. Kinda like Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time, or Phantom Ganon from Wind Waker. However, once you beat him, you...

(Note: If you are at all offended with these jokes, then good. That is exactly what I wanted to do. However, if you wish to lynch me, I can't blame you) Tonight on Fux News, a secret is found. Do you wanna know what is the biggest problem in the world. It’s not massive violence, it’s not disease, its not world hunger. This thing is so terrible, it makes human trafficking, child abuse, and that Jack and Jill movie with Adam Sandler look like a breeze. I’m talking about video games. Let me give you a little history on video games. back in 1972, the devil himself, Nolan Bushnell, rose from the depths of Hell to bring us the game that possessed children everywhere. That game… was Pong. After that, we have had so many evil events happen thanks to Pong. Pong caused the terrorist attack at the Olympic Games in Munich. But, that was only the beginning. In 1977, the evil game-making cult known as Atari created the Atari 2600, which possessed children, and had them spin their heads around. However, kids still bought it, while Atari made money off their evil religion. Then, more games came by, paving the way for evil crimes worldwide. Space Invaders caused the Jonestown Massacre....

Now, I was always a gamer. Even when I was 7. However, I wasn’t as brave while playing games as I am now when I was 7. So, you can imagine that their were a lot of terrifying things. So, I am going to tell you all the things in games that scared me as a kid. Now, these are all going to be games I played when I was only 7. So, I am not going to put any of the horror games on this list. Also, no Giygas, or Mimi, because those would be too obvious. Sorry. And with all that said, lets start the list

#10: Boulders from Crash Bandicoot - Yes, that’s right, I was such a wuss back then, I was scared of a giant fucking rock. So, when I was playing this game, the first level was a simple jungle level. It was pretty fun. But, the second level gave us an Indiana Jones scene, where you run away from a giant boulder that is trying to crush you, while you jump over fences, and bottomless pits. This scared me because I wasn’t even expecting something that could kill me in one hit so quickly. That is what made me so scared. But, its lower, because it didn’t get scary after a while

Now, there are a lot of things that make a game. However, what about those things that nobody likes, yet, no matter what, you see them EVERYWHERE! Yeah, you know, those things that every time you see them, you just lose all the fun that was once in the game. Well, today, I am going to talk about the Ten Things In Games I Hate. Now, remember that this is my list, so if there is a thing in games that you hate, but isn’t on this list, either I have no problems with it, or I find these problems worse. Now, with that said, lets start the list

#10: Loading Screens - Now, we all know about these things. Loading screens are made to just come up all the time, and take an eternity. There are a lot of games that use this. Fable’s loading screens occur after every cutscene, every time you go to a new area, and every time you go to level up. Dead Rising 2’s loading screen does the same as Fable, only this time, the areas are much shorter, so why does the loading screen need to be so long. However, there are games that actually use the loading screens as ways to move the story along. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare shows a cutscene while the game loads. So, incase you didn’t...

Uhm….. I don’t have a PS3, so…… Here is a list of my favorite games from my favorite console. Rules, only games I play, and they have to be from the gamecube. That good? Okay. Let’s start the list.

#10: Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader - Now, there are a lot of Star Wars games. I mean, A LOT! Like, seriously, how is there so many games. But, one of my favorite ones is Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 2. This game has an amazing story, and it is really amazing with its flying controls. It’s a lot like Crimson Skies, a game that is in my Top 30 Favorite Games of All Time… Except, this game has more sci-fi. The game is also really addictive, and it has a lot of iconic scenes from the movies, like the scene where you fly across the Death Star, and the scene where you take down a giant AT-AT. If you're a fan of the Star Wars movies, then you’ll love this game

#9: Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Oh man, this game is amazing. While the show nowadays is… (Ahem) … less than successful, I will admit I loved this show back in its first three seasons. It had...

Inspired by Vegeta007's list, here are my top 20 PS3 Games.

This list is not limited to PS3 exclusives, however this list will not include PS2 HD remasters or PS1 ports. So I'm sorry KH2.5, FFX, Okami, Ico Collection and others, you are not included ><

Now, on with the list!

20. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
I played this game a lot when I first got it, A LOT. I've always been a fan of the cartoony racing games, so this one was great for me.

19. Skate 3
Skate is a great little franchise and is just so much fun to play. It was difficult adjusting to the control scheme as I had always played many of the Tony Hawk games, but once I got used to it, it felt so satisfying landing tricks. I had the most fun with Skate 3 from the bunch.

18. Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
The first R&C game to make it to the PS3, and I think it was one of my first PS3 games. The graphics update was at the time mind-blowing, the gameplay so much fun, and an interesting look at a new story that paved the way for the Future series of...

Hey everyone. Here's my top 10 games that come from my favourite console of all time. Up until recently Ps3 has always been second best to the ps2 but I truly think it's the best. It's got backwards compatibility for ps1 games and some models have ps2. It's home to biggest collection of games and some of my favourites.

Before I start the list I want to mention a couple of things. I have eliminated Ps2 remasters from the selections because they are ps2 games and not ps3 BUT there will be one on here because I experienced the game on ps3 and not on ps2 so I consider it a ps3 game. I will keep this list to one per series because that's a better way to represent my love for a series. There are also multiplat games but they will only be on here if I own them on ps3 so games like Saints Row won't be here since I don't own it on ps3.

Also a special mention to the Uncharted series which I will be getting into shortly. Also a very special mention to Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction which was narrowly beaten by ***********.
