Welcome to the Spuddy review of Warhawk! Here I will inform you about the quality of gameplay, graphics, sound, and presentation of the game.
---------------------------------------------

Warhawk is kind of a hard game to review, as I may not see it and play it as you do. Everyone has different tactics and will play it in a different way. Someone may be a sniper, or jump right into a tank or Warhawk, or just be an ass by camping and picking off people with their ever annoying, one-hit-kill knife. The game contains lots of teamwork, but despite what you might hear, the consistency of it all can fall a bit short of expectations.

First off, gameplay. Most importantly, it's fun, and there are epic battles here and there. There is tons of teamwork required, and many times you can't just run into an enemy base and steal it. You have to work together to succeed. But weapon consistency is dreadful.
Although there is no apparent lag, hits may not register, or you may find that you throw your entire arsenal at one soldier, and are about to kill him, but then the enemy throws one grenade a few feet away from you and you can die instantly. Also, knife fights are a disaster. This is where the hits REALLY don't register, and you'll find yourself in serious trouble.
Also, there is a severe danger of teamkillers. You can carry a flag the whole way back to your base, and right at the final stretch, one of your own companions will kill you and take it for his own.
But, on the positive note, flying, driving, and sniping are all very fun components of the game. The controls are tight and responsive.

Now for the graphics. While it's not exactly Killzone 2 or Crysis, it's maps are large and colorful. There are also some great lighting effects here and there. It's detailed, but not to a ridiculously high extent. Also, the explosions look pretty cheap.

Sound, which is easily one of the best parts of the game, makes war sound great. Warhawks that fly over you let out a powerful rorar, while those that are farther away sound much fainter. Gunshots are realistic, explosions sound nice, and everything works together perfectly. Sound gets a 10.

Now for the presentation. While it's not exactly considered advertising, you have to see a little Incognito logo down at the bottom of the screen when starting a match, which gets kind of annoying. But the maps are large and are very impressive, and make you feel tiny. Unfortunately, after playing the game enough, you might discover that many of the maps are basically the same, with bridges looking eerily similar as well as many other repetitive map objects.

Despite some of these negative sides to the game, if you like quality multi-player games, Warhawk is your cup of tea. So get out the English danishes and chow down on a delicious piece of fun.
--------------------------------------------
Gameplay: 8.7/10- Some serious weapon inconsistency here and there, but if you overlook that, Warhawk is great.

Graphics: 9.0/10- If your just looking for a game for some good graphics, Warhawk won't really deliver much, but I'll give bonus points for the great, cartoony art direction.

Sound: 10/10- It's absolutely perfect. Everything sounds great.

Presentation: 8.6/10- It has some great maps, but they mostly seem to be rehashes of other ones, just in a different setting.
