So back when I was talking about Bloodborne on this list, I mentioned how there was one game by FromSoftware that just couldn’t beat this one, and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the passed ten years, then you will know that game is Dark Souls, the first one, of course.
Dark Souls is set in the medieval kingdom of Lordran, and you play as the Chosen Undead, one of the many who have been sent to this dying land in a world where people cannot die. Your goal is to collect the souls of the four ancient lords who ruled this land and use them to either rekindle the First Flame and keep the Age of Fire going or let it die and allow the Age of Dark to come and give power to mankind. The world of Dark Souls was the first to usher in what I have been seeing a lot in medieval fantasy games nowadays, that being that they are darker and more gritty. Sure, Dark Souls was inspired by Berserk, but everything is inspired by something, isn’t it? Everything from the destroyed town of the Undead Burg to the creepy atmosphere of the Duke’s Archives to the walking skeletons found in the Tomb of the Giants. And that’s just a few examples. A lot of places in this game feel like they were once grand locations to explore, but have now fallen to ruin due to the end of the world coming to this kingdom. It’s fascinating to read up on the lore of these places and the enemies and characters within them. Like how the magic users in the Duke’s Archives are actually kidnappers that steal maidens for Seath’s experiments or how the demons of this game all originate from one level thanks to one boss birthing them out. And the bosses in this game are incredible. Sure, not all of them are amazing, like Bed of Driving Me Fucking Mad, but for the most part, bosses like the massive Iron Golem, the giant wolf Sif, and the brilliant fight between Ornstein and Smough, these all are grand fights, leaving you at the mercy of these hulking foes, all of them once something amazing, now fallen to either madness and the desire to kill, or protecting something from you so that you don’t do something reckless in their eyes. And I should mention that this game is in fact hard for newcomers. It was advertised that you will die a lot in this game, and they were right about that. But when you learn what to do, it becomes easier. And it’s reward to learn the mechanics of this game, from item usage, to timing when to attack, dodge, or block in a boss fight. The game rewards perfect playing and doing so will save your ass on several occasions. And the score of this game is amazing. Not on the level of Dark Souls III grand soundtrack, but there are moments where this game amazes me. From your first time entering the kingdom of Anor Londo, to the time you enter Ash Lake and hear that ominous choir. And the final boss theme is so… not amazing, and I mean that in a good way. It’s slow, and kind of sad. And I love it so much.
Dark Souls was the kind of game I needed. In a decade where I was so bored with modern games, even ready to give up on modern games entirely, Dark Souls came to peak my interest in video games again and to get me excited to try out new games. Dark Souls does not hold your hand. It’ll beat you again and again. But like a girl in a Tyler Perry movie, no matter how many times Dark Souls kicks my ass, I’ll always come back for more. Only Dark Souls beats me out of love. And I’m kind of a masochist, so that’s just a turn on to me anyway

“Tiger… Hey, Tiger”
Tiger groaned as he stirred himself awake, inhaling through his nostrils as his eyes slowly opened, looking up at the bright sky and the moving clouds. Looking down at him, a young woman with red hair that stopped at her neck looked down with a grin, light freckles on her face, wearing a yellow style woman’s dress with brown boots. She graced Tiger with a chuckle as she joked, “Didn’t you just get some sleep?”
“Well when you’re on the road for as long as we are, you gotta get all the sleep you can before another job.” Tiger answered as he sat up.

Have you ever heard of the legendary Ramen Noodle truck? The only way to get a taste is to catch up with it. Enter Next A-Class, a surprisingly flashy and fun little time considering it is literally a six-minute Japanese car advertisement made in 2012. Despite how short it is, however, the adrenaline rush you'll get watching this anime short is nothing short of thrilling.

By and large the best part of this short is the animation. You'd think it wouldn't have much effort put into it, but by lord Frith himself, is this a damn good looking Original Net Animation. The amount of detail and effort...

So he’s an odd thing to just say out of the blue. Silent Hill 2, in regards to writing, is a far better game than Resident Evil 4. In almost every single way, Silent Hill 2 is the superior horror game. But, on a gameplay perspective, on a replayable perspective, Resident Evil 4 is the better game. And it is a game I remember playing when I was a little kid, and found far less scary than the Remake, so I was able to enjoy it far more at that age. So let’s talk about it, shall we?
Resident Evil 4 followed Leon S. Kennedy, a strapping young man who has gotten his first job as the president’s...

So, remember when Metal Gear Solid was a stealth game? And I ain’t talking about Survivor. We never talk about Survivor. I’m talking about that other time Metal Gear Solid was turned into something different, and it was actually good. Ladies in gentleman, I give you Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, whatever that name means
Metal Gear Rising follows everyone’s favorite soyboy, Raiden, as he is hunting down a terrorist group known as the Winds of Destruction, which have plans of sparking a war in the world, which involves, what else in a Metal Gear game, politicians doing seedy shit...

Okay…. This is the first Legend of Zelda entry on the list… and hoo boy, I think I already pissed some people off with this decision already.
Legend of Zelda follows the story of Link and his companion Navi as they travel across the land of Hyrule, saving the Sages and trying to stop Ganondorf from taking over Hyrule.. Yeah, get used to hearing that story description of other Zelda games. This was considered to be THE Zelda game back in the day, the one that everyone needed to play and is thought to be the greatest video game of all time. And while I don’t personally agree with that,...

Before there was Zombieland and before there Shaun of the Dead, we didn’t get much comedy zombie movies. Sure, there were some, but not much. However, one movie came along that I think was an underrated classic of the 90s. First off, the movie was directed by Peter Jackson… yes, the Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson. Before he made Lord of the Rings, he made this movie. And it’s just as good as Lord of the Rings…. Okay, maybe not as good, but it’s still a good movie. Anyway, let’s talk about Dead Alive (Or Braindead if you live outside of North America.

Dead Alive follows the...

Toon Link. The cartoon version of one of gaming's biggest icons, and it looks like he's here to stay.

And honestly, what's not to love about Toon Link? He's courteous, powerful, and is always way stronger than he PROBABLY SHOULD BE IN SMASH BROS GODDAMMI-

And is overall a very memorable character.....Which brings me to the logical conclusion that he should RUN FOR PRESIDENT.

Why you may ask?

Stop asking such silly questions. :)

So without further ado, I'm your host Killer Semenstar and let's get RIIIIIGHT into the...

Wind: So, I get to go on a vacation to Spain, huh. This shouldn’t be so bad. I was getting sick of being in Ponyville all of the time anyway

Wind: Okay, I have no idea where I am going
Gonado: (Stares at Wind)
Wind: Uh…… Can I help you?
Gonado: (Speaks Spanish)
Wind: …….. Okay (Walks off)
Gonado: (Picks up an axe and follows Wind)
Wind: Well, that guy was a damn freak
Gonado: (Swings the axe at Wind’s head)
Wind: Goddamn it. Not again (Bend down to tie his shoes)
Gonado: (Misses, losing his balance, and falls off of the cliff)
Wind: Huh, wonder where that weird guy went

Wind: (Locks himself...

We all do something to spend time with our siblings. Either it’s having a fun conversation with them, playing with them, or just hanging out with them. What did me and my two brothers do when we hung out? We beat the living shit out of each other on a daily basis. So, when our little sister was still in elementary school, and my older brother still lived with us, we watched this show called Deadliest Warriors, where two different warriors from the past would be tested with their strength and then they would fight to the death to see who would win. It’s kinda like Death Battle if it was...
