Cross my heart hope to die.
Cut my throat if i tell a lie.

Tayce’s p.o.v

The team were failing badly, before my eyes. “You all owe me 20 bucks” Ruby said as she pulled out her hand. Kale sighed and then rolled his eyes. “Only because you have no faith in them” he said, she smiled and then took the 20 bucks Bobby was handing to her. “Why should I? They’re new and they know nothing” She said with a giant smirk. Belinda sighed and then bit her bottom lip she had a worried look on her face. “What if someone gets hurt?” She asked, Tayce smiled and Ruby just rolled her eyes. Someone phone then rang, it was Ruby’s. “Damn I have to go, call me and tell me who wins” She said as she walked away. Kale sighed and then started to follow. I then turned to see how the teams were going; the girls were winning since they hate Kat, who was a world champ swimmer. I looked down at my toes and felt pity for these people, they had all been pulled out of there perfect little lives to become one of us. I had been through the same thing. I then heard a loud screech; I turned my head to see the girls jumping in glee. “Looks like we have a winner, what will be there prize?” I asked Justin smiled. “How about the fact that they just beat a couple of boys at a sport?” he asked, Belinda shook her head. “I’ll think of something” she said.

Ruby’s p.o.v

I got out of my car and slammed the door. The mansion front of me gave me disgust as it did all the sisters. I sighed and then started to walk up into the mansion, it was all very familiar all white. I cleared my throat and then knocked on the big brown door. I heard sharp footsteps coming towards the door; I sighed and then heard someone put a hand on the door handle. And there she was standing in all her glee my grandmother. She had a drink in her hand that she took a sip of a soon as she saw me standing there. “It’s too early to argue with you Ruby, why are you here?” She asked, I scoffed and then stepped in. She closed the door behind me and walked to her living room, where the vodka was.
I sighed. “Listen, I’m trying to protect my sisters” She sighed and filled her cup with ice and vodka. “And what exactly are you trying to protect them from?” She asked me I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch across from her. I leaned forward. “You” I told her, she laughed and then put her drink down. “Oh, really what have I done thing time? Sleep with a boyfriend, ruin a date?” She asked, I laughed and then leaned back in the couch. “You killed Millie” I said, she stopped in the middle of taking a sip of her drink. She then put it down and turned to me. “What do you mean?” She asked, I then got up and snatched her drink of the table. I took a long sip and then slammed it down on the table, forcing the glass to break. ‘You know exactly what I mean, last year at Justin’s New Year party” I said.

Flashback:

Millie stood there laughing with the crowd; Lilly had no idea what they were talking about. She knew her three granddaughters fell at her feet, she was the whole package, pretty, and smart she was just perfect. Lilly had much envy for Millie, she was the top slayer. No one would ever want Belinda, Tayce and Ruby if she was still around. Later after the party Lilly walked in to see Millie leaning against the open window cell, she walked gently in. “Do you ever want to just jump and forget everything?” Millie asked. Lilly shook her head as she walked closer; she was now so close that Lilly herself could fall out of the window. “I do” Millie said as she fell back into Lilly’s hand, Lilly bent her head down near Millie’s lips, she could smell the alcohol. Before she even realised what she was doing her hands had pushed Millie’s limp body out the window.

Ruby’s p.o.v

“How’d you know?” Lilly asked making another drink, I laughed. “Oh come on, as soon as it happened to freaked and left” I told her, she just took another sip. “So have you come here to threaten me?” She asked, I smiled and walked closer to her. “I thought about it, but no I’m going to keep this for a rainy day” I said as I walked away. I heard her laugh as I did. I turned to her she was on the couch now. “You’re a lot more like me then you realise” she said, drinking the vodka. I smirked and laughed. “I’m nothing like you, you lie, cheat and hurt people I just hurt those you hurt me” I said turning around and walking out. Once I was out I felt a twist in my stomach, I felt the words that Kale had once called me once ‘a monster’, yes I was a monster but so was he.

Tayce’s p.o.v

The two teams laid in the living room all wet. Belinda started handing out towels; it was now time for the serious talk. “Now, since that’s all over we have to start talking about why you guys are here” I yelled, they all got up and started at me. “Yeah, you all know that you’re slayers but what you don’t know is that someone in this room is going to change your life. Girls take a good look over at those boys, because one of them is your protector” As I said this all the girls turned their heads to the boys, they faces went pink and so they all turned away. “Yeah, so get ready to hate this person, because this love hurts, just because you’re not in love with them doesn’t mean you wouldn’t die for them. Because believe me you would, I would and they’d do the same for you” I said, the girls all looked down at their hands and the boys were itching their heads. “Well, it’s been a long day so go to your rooms” I said, they all got up and practically ran to their rooms.

I sighed and walked into my room, Bobby was laying on my bed. I rolled my eyes. “I’m not in the mood, it’s been a long day” I said, he nodded and then got up. “I’m only here to say goodnight” He said, I nodded. “Well then goodnight” he rolled his eyes and walked past me. “You know, Tayce not everyone is in love with you” he said as he walked out of my room.

Ruby’s p.o.v

I stumbled into my room to find the door open, I rolled my eyes and walked in. kale was standing in it, I walked forward and stood in front of him. It took him about a second to look down at me but once he did, I could see that he was angry, really angry. “What?” I simply asked, he sighed. “Why did you go to see Lilly today?” I asked, I scoffed and then walked past him to my dresser. “To say hello she is my grandmother you know?” I said, he laughed. “Yeah right, you hate Lilly!” he yelled, I turned to him and crossed my arms. “What I do is my business” I said with acid dripping from every word. He rolled his eyes. I then turned and took of my shirt I heard him turn away. I quickly changed and then turned around, I nearly fell over but he caught me by the arm. “Thank you” I said, he nodded. “You know, whatever you’re doing I will find out” he said as he walked out of the room.
