Sunbeams streamed threw the opening to the den and made lightning like patterns on Janice and Brian's bodies. Rudi and Azra were already running about chaceing butterflies and grasshoppers in the dew covered grass. Brian opened his green eyes and yawned sleepily. Janice rolled over and put her paws on her chest and relaxed in the sunshine. Everything was so nice until the couple heard someone yelling out, "Janice! Where are you!? You better come out right now!! And if I find you with Brian I'll beat you better than last time!" It was Moonlight.
Janice jumped to her feet and started to trot out of the den opening, but Brian stopped her, "Janice! Don't go! You don't know what he might do to you."
"Yes, but I don't know what he might do to me if I dare stay." Janice said with her head down, "I don't want to get raped again."
Brian looked at his mate solemnly, knowing that she was all to right. "I know, but I'd hate to see you get hurt again."
"How about you follow me and if Moonlight hurts me then you can protect me."
Brian agreed and Janice continued to walk to where the sound of Moonlight's voice was, and Brian quietly trailed behind in the bushes. Moonlight was standing on the top of a hill looking all around, but when he saw Janice walking towards him he smiled and walked down to meat his mate. "Hello my lovely," He said sweetly, "How did you sleep?"
Janice looked at the ground as a tear rolled down her cheek. "It was...fine."
Moonlight shook his head, "Then why are you crying?" Janice didn't reply. "Well I hope you aren't mad about the punishment I gave you yesterday. I was just doing my job as your REAL mate."
Janice's blood began to boil and her sapphire blue eyes turned blood red with anger and hatred. "A real mate wouldn't rape his partner!"
Moonlight frowned, "Well maybe, maybe not. I am the male, I am the one in charge. Not you. You are just a worthless female that was made to make babies.And you are the one that cheated."
Janice started to growl loudly, "I HATE YOU!!!" Then she lunged at Moonlight and grabbed his neck and started to shake him.
Brian stared at his mate in amazement, "I never knew she could do that"
Janice then dropped Moonlight, still growling she yelled, "I am not worthless! You are! You are the one that attacked me and made me your mate without even asking. I love Brian! He treats me like I'm worth something! He even ASKED me to be his mate! I wish you would just die!"
Moonlight was in shock and was very mad. He lunged out and grabbed Janice's throat. Janice squealed, she couldn't breathe or move. Brian gasped and leaped out of his hiding spot and started to madly rip Moonlight apart. Moonlight let go of Janice to protect himself, but then Brian ripped open his throat, and that was the end.
Brain knelt by his mate and started to lick the blood off of her. Janice was gasping for air and her eyes had changed back to blue. She was shaking and everything started to look black, and all she could hear was Brian saying, "Janice, Janice, Janice.." Then everything went blank.
