Every girl in Farmington, New Mexico is in love with Taylor Anderson. Well, almost everyone. Chloe Hart is the one girl who can resist Taylor's charm. Why doesn't she swoon when he notices her? One reason: He's popular.
.....................
No guy has ever taken interest in Chloe. She's more focused on her dance classes and paintings than any boy. But when Taylor Anderson is stuck sitting at her table in art class for the entire year, she doesn't know how she'll survie!

Author Jenni James turns Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice into a story of two high school students unsure about their feelings for one another. Will Chloe's pride get in the way of finding her true love?
.........................
Was this book well written? Yes! I loved the fact that pretty much everyone can relate to this story.

I'm excited to be reporting this tid bit of book news to my Fanpop.com readers!

If you remember, earlier this year, I reviewed a new book titled 'The Vampire Game: Discovery' written by hunky first-time author Les Bailey--which I absolutely adored! (I've read the book 3 times now!)

Well, I now get to report that there is a great possibility that the novel in question will be developed into a major movie!

According to several movie news outlets, the unique vampire tale has generated loads of interest among some of Hollywood's most influential filmmakers--and I can see why.

As I first reported back...

By Edward Fairfax:

After interviewing authors Lucretia Mars (GASPING IN THE SHADOWS) and Jenni Frendswith (STONECRAFT) I interviewed the author who hosts both books on his website, Fletcher Rhoden, whose new nonfiction book is FIFTY SHADES OF TRAILER PARK BOYS: TPB in the Great Comedic Traditions. In the interests of full disclosure, my own book VIEWS OF A PROGRESSIVE CHRISTIAN is also hosted on Rhoden’s site at www.fletcherrhoden.com/links. Rhoden’s complete catalogue can be found on the PRODUCTS page of that site.

Q: Thank you for speaking with me today, Mr. Rhoden --
A: Fletch, please....

"I still get nightmares," begins Johnny Truant, editor of House of Leaves ("House," by the way, always colored in blue). He goes on to explain how he stumbled upon the fateful document that would consume him. How Zampanò, an old and eccentric shut-in had left his critique of the Navidson Record scribbled on loose-leaf papers, book covers, and the backs of envelopes and even stamps scattered across his room. Johnny diligently collected all of the papers and organized them into the comprehensive thesis it was meant to be. It is an elaborate and detailed explanation of a documentary that, Johnny...

There are so many great books published every month, some titles worth reading may get lost in the shuffle. So when I heard that my writing coach and mentor of ten years was finally releasing a book about successful freelance writing, I got excited!

It was about ten years ago that I decided to get serious about my desire to make a living with what I loved the most--writing. So I looked up the number of a popular writing group in my home town, got registered and took a class. I had heard of the instructor before, even read a couple of his books and magazine articles, so I was thrilled at the...
