Duncan`s POV:Courtney was dying.She can`t.She....she....s-...She won`t.I turned to face the monster.It grinned.It looked like it was saying,"Are you ready to die?"It came towards me,but I stood my ground.If dying for the one girl I love means dying to be with her,then so be it.Geoff kept throwing air spheres at it,Bridgette threw spears of ice at it,Trent made roots come out of the ground and hold it still,while Gwen blinded it with her glowing light.I was the only one not doing anything.I charged at it with red and blue fire.It fell to the ground.I stopped.We all stood still to see if the monster was really dead.I walked up to it and poked it with a stick.It`s yellow eyes quickly turned to red and grabbed me into the air.I was in the air plumiting toward the ground.I wonder if courtney was in Heaven by now.If she was,then I would have nothing to lose.Geoff put a forcefield of air around me.I closed my eyes.I stopped.I opened my eyes and looked around.I was in the air floating.I was mad cause I didn`t die.I want to be with Courtney.That`s all.There are millions of ways to die.It`s not that hard!I melted it with fire all around me.I looked to Courtney.She wasn`t there.
