Courtney`s POV:The next day was the worst......school starts......AGAIN!I have and always will hate the first day of school.Everyone looks at you like your different or an alien life-form.And the teachers treat you like your back in kindergarden learning the A,B,Cs.Great.
When we got to the school,Whitney was the first one to get out of my truck."This is gonna be SO much fun!Don`t you think Courtney?"Whitney said."Yeah,a great time."I said sarcastically.Then Whitney started jumping,clapping her hands and smiling all at the same time.I rolled my eyes and walked to the entrance.

Duncan`s POV:"Just go over there and talk to her!"I said shoving Gwen and Bridgette over to her.

Courtney`s POV:"Hi! We didn`t get to meet you officially last time.I`m Bridgette and this is my friend Gwen."the blonde said."Hey,I`m Gwen."the goth said.They looked pretty cool.Nice,sweet,the kind of people who have no evil,a past,or a dark side.Great,this just keeps on getIong better.If the blonde keeps it up,she`ll end up like Whitney."Courtney."I said holding out my hand for them to respond back.They shook my hand.Wow.Last time someone shook my hand,they had to wipe the dirt of their hand from mine.Embarrssing much?"Well it`s nice to meet you Courtney.You know what?We have this friend and he`s REALLY into you...."Bridgette started saying."Okay,I`m gonna stop you there.I`m not trying to be rude,but I think now is the time to tell you that I don`t have any room in my life for a relationship.I`ll see ya when I can."I said and walked away.

Duncan`s POV:Bridgette and Gwen came over looked upset."Well?"Geoff asked."She doesn`t want a relationship."Bridgette and Gwen said in unison."Well Duncan,she`s not the one for you."Geoff said."She`s just trying to act like she doesn`t care that`s all."I said."Okay,just tell me who wins."Trent said walking away with Gwen."Yeah,I gotta be getting to biology.Later man."Geoff said walking away with Bridgette.I went to the door with them and went to class.I saw her later that day walking home.I ran up to her and walked home.I stayed silent.The silent treat meant always works.

Courtney`s POV:He stayed silent.Why?"Hey."I finally said."So you do want to talk?"he said.

Duncan`s POV:Told you it works.
