As September draws closer, more spoilers, set photos, and potential storylines are being leaked to the public for what is to come for our favorite Upper East Siders. While some look potentially promising, others make you stop and wonder "What meds are the GG writers on?!" It seems as though they're attempting to boost ratings by any means possible (European Royals, Elizabeth Hurley, or visits to L.A. ring any bells?) Personally, I would rather refer back to the greatness of the earlier Gossip Girl seasons and recomend the producers bring back some much loved favorites...

1) Nate having a REAL story line
I mean honestly, when was the last time Nate had a storyline that didn't involve dating the newest socialite or hooking up with a bunch of random girls?

2) Serena's bubby attitude & admirable confidence
During the first season of GG, Serena appeared to be on a quest for redemption and reformation from her previous partygirl ways when she returned to New York. However, whenever it seems like S is on the brink of changing, something seems to keep draging her down (usually guys or something from her past.) I can understand showing viewers the consequences one might have to deal with because of previous behavior, but come on! The girl's been through alot, yet the writers never show her maturing. In fact, Season 4 was my least favorite season for Serena's character.

3) Chuck's signature scarf
I mean come on, who can resist Season 1 Chuck Bass with his infamous scarf?

4) Dan's Season 1 & 2 Haircut
I love Dan, and although he's one of my favorite characters, one of the questions that kept running through my mind with him during season 4 was "You've got to be fucking kidding me with that hair, right?" I mean Penn is a hottie, but they seriously need to give him a haircut similar to his season 1 or season 2 style.

5) Blair's Wardrobe & Headband Collection
It seems like lately Blair's style is less "Modern Audrey Hephburn" and more "I think I'm gonna dress older than my Mom and wear a lot of boring, netral colors" and I can't even remember the last time I saw Queen B rock one her glamourous headbands.

6) Better Lighting
I'm not sure what's wrong with the lighting at the GG studio, but the dark & dreary lighting in half the scenes certainly isn't helping the atmosphere there.

7) NATEFUSED!
Otherwise known as the combination of the two words Nate & confused. Throughout Seasons 1 & 2 Nate would occasionally offer many "WTF?!" facial expressions that can only be descibed as natefused.

8) Blair's Eating Disorder
Although I would never wish an eating disorder upon anyone, i think it's almost wrong to bring it up in season 1 and then completly dismiss it in the other seasons. The writers make it seem as if it never happened, but it's a part of Blair's character and (in my opinion) should probably be adressed later on in the series.

9) Reputation
It seems as though Gossip Girl has lost some of the initial edge that made it so popular in the first place. Think back to when it first premiered and so many people descibed it as "scandelous" and "juicy." Perhaps bringing back some of the witty dioloigue, sensational conflicts, and bitchy dynamic could reinstate that beloved reputation.

10) The Mystery Behind Gossip Girl
Remember when everyone was constantly wondering who Gossip Girl, the mystery blogger really was? Our beloved Non Judging Breakfast Club even attempted a take down in season 2. Now it seems as though no one really gives a shit who GG is, they only use her blog to cyber stalk their ex bfs (Blair and Serena.....)

Even though I doubt most of these will return in future Gossip Girl seasons, a girl can dream right?
A/N: Okay I totally LOVE Lily Allen's new song 'The Fear' so I thought I'd take lyrics from the song and use as a fanfic base for this one shot. I've taken a break from writing cos I've finished the Chuck and Blair Chronicles so I'm just waiting to post, But boredness+Me= Writing! :( Don't know if this style of writing suits me or not, So give me your opinion. Thank you. Hope you like it.
A/U: Okay so I read Lauren's (ChuckBlairLuvA) one shot fanfic the other day and I totally loved it and the idea of a future setting so this scene is set some time in the future, When Blair is leaving for Yale,...

She heard the elevator ding as he came in. What time was it? She looked at her sterling silver Tiffany alarm clock and saw it was just past four in the morning. Every night this week he had been coming home later and later.

She missed the days when his workday would end at five o’clock sharp and he would arrive home -not reeking of another ladies perfume- to eat the four course dinner with their perfect little family. Those days only occurring less than two months ago, would often be filled with passionate nights.

She heard his footsteps on the parakeet floors, as he went and gave their daughter...

Taken from Episode 13, After Blair tells Chuck she loves him, he gets into the limo and drives away.
This scene is inside the limo after he tells Blair "That's to bad".

Chuck quickly and rapidly got into the limo and left a tear eyed Blair Waldorf standing on the side walk. Inside the limo seemed diffrent, The comfy leather seats seemed hard and edgy, But then he realised it was his figitting and moving about which was causing it. It seemed cold and somehow heartless.
Soon after, all Chuck could visualize was Blair's face and those three words, all he could hear were those three words, Over...

Chuck stood in the corner, on the side of the building. It was pitch black out. He had been there so many times before. The most obvious one to his mind was when he had been watching Nate and Blair make out. Blair had looked at him and gone back to kissing his best friend. He wasn't even angry in that moment. He was just so hurt. He finally couldn't watch anymore. He had turned and walked away.

There was another time when Chuck had been smoking and Blair passed him by. He shook his head. The end of that scene was filled with even more pain. Blair had caused him so much pain, yet for all he put...
