I wish it could stay like this forever. But sadly, it can't. In two days, I'm going to go to school and leave behind my parents, all my relatives, really. I always hated going back to school, but not for the reason most kids did. I actually liked to learn, the thing that upset me was being away from family. And now that James was close to ending his education, there would be even fewer of us.
The Weasley/Potter kids were slowly leaving Hogwarts, and I didn't like it. But, what could I do? Force my cousins to stay forever? Bring my parents with me? No, I couldn't. I have to suck it up and live with the pain of leaving everyone.
This is what I tell myself over and over as we're standing on Platform 9 & 3/4.
''Now, make sure to stay with your brother, will you? Try and get a compartment with Albus, James, and Lily too so you can all be together.''
''Yes, mum,'' I mumble.
''Don't be sad about going, Rosie! You know we'll write you three times a week, even more if you need to.''
''No, mum, three is fine..''
The train's conductor yells, ''FIVE MORE MINUTES!'' And I'm slowly wishing that I could slow time down.
''Bye, Rosie, Hugo,'' My mother and father say, and then we board the train.
Inside, it's pandemonium, and we finally find Lily, James, and Albus.
''Geez, I swear it gets more hectic every year.''
''Ugh, I know. It totally sucks.''
Lily and Al's conversation doesn't really interest me, and I look out the window. The rolling hillside used to be peaceful, calming, to me, but now, it seems like pain. All I can think of is how Roxy and Fred should be here, with us, where are they? Probably with their friends. Figures.
Right on cue, Roxy enters.
''Heyyyy! What's up, all?''
Roxy always had a way of making everyone feel uncomfortable around her, like she was either hyper on Chocolate Frogs or just naturally hyper herself.
''Whoa, buzz kill..'' She mutters, and I crack a smile.
We all go into conversation about just random stuff, like our parents, daily gossip about the latest relationships between the students in our year, and then we finally arrive at..
''Did a Dementor really come into your room? I mean, mum and dad wouldn't tell me.'' She leans in closer, and it freaks me out. I'm usually not claustrophobic, but now I need my personal space.
''Where's Fred?'' I ask timidly, a lame attempt at changing the subject.
''Erm, somewhere..''
''What, did you lose him?'' James jokes.
All the color drains from Roxy's face. ''N-no..well..sort of..''
''Wait..what?'' Lily looks like she might burst out laughing. ''You lost Fred?''
''He ran off, alright?! Mum and dad can't expect me to keep a handle on him, he's just so damn hyper. But he'll come soon, you'll see.''
''Roxy, we've been on the train for an hour.''
''You should go look for him!'' I say, another lame attempt to drift from talking about me, to get her out of this compartment.
''Fine, I'll go. But you will tell me the Dementor story one day..''
And on that dramatic note, Roxy leaves. The majority of the rest of the train ride is silent, none of us wants to talk. For one time in my life, I enjoy it.

Hogwarts Castle, during The Sorting
''Ray Filcher?'' Professor Flitwick calls out. For some unknown reason, he's doing the sorting instead of Professor McGonagall.
''RAVENCLAW!'' The hat screams.
I remember when I sat under that hat, for the first and last time..
''Rose..Weasley? Again? You Weasleys will always breed like cockroaches, I swear..''
I blushed, knowing the abnormal size of my family was overwhelming.
''And like the Weasleys, you will go to..''
I remember waiting in anticipation, just hoping for..
''HUFFLEPUFF!'' Another student has been sorted.
The sudden roar from the Hufflepuff table jerks me out of my fantasy. My house hasn't got much people this year, as if we're too full already. I look around the room, and see that the Ravenclaw table is booming, and Hufflepuff is erupting in cheers.
Slytherin and Gryffindor are the only ones who are only clapping when needed, for first years that are so excited to begin school. Finally, Gryffindor gets their first newcomer.
''Kendall Miller?'' Flitwick's squeaky voice is irritating at a loud volume.
''Hmm...bright, quick-witted..GRYFFINDOR!'' As if awoken from a deep sleep, Gryffindor cheers. Kendall walks over to our table with a bounce in her step. When she sits next to our few first years, she quickly starts a conversation with a girl next to her.
Finally the sorting ends, and we can eat. All our food just magically appears as usual, and Hugo, like our father, is grabbing fistfuls of food.
''Hugo, pace yourself,'' I say. ''You know you have dad's appetite.''
''Just because you eat like a bird doesn't mean we all have to,'' He snaps at me.
I'm surprised. Throughout my whole life, Hugo and I have had fights, but it was normally over stupid things like who got the last piece of pie at dessert. For some stupid reason, it hurts. Hurts because throughout my whole life, Hugo has been my constant best friend.
Besides Aimee and Lizzie, that is.
''Hey Rose!'' Aimee calls, and sits on my left. ''Did you hear about who's pissed off about their sort?''
''No, who?'' I'm curious. Most kids accept what house they get into.
''Some kid in Slytherin. Claims that he should've been in Gryffindor, that he was brave.''
''There are brave people in all the houses..''
''Yeah, I know, but he won't listen to anyone.''
We then dig into our food, forgetting about that whole thing. Or at least, Aimee did. I wonder who that boy was, the one who hated Slytherin.. was it somebody like Al, who was deathly afraid of getting Slytherin? But I would never know.
Then Lizzie sits down next to us, only nodding her head in greeting. Lizzie never was a person of many words. The rest of the Feast is the same it usually is, nothing special.
But this term isn't going to be ordinary for me.

Author's Note: I personally feel Chapter 1 was better, but you know, that's just me. And I apologize for my suckish ending, I had no idea how to just ''cut off''. And I think my new title is.. *drumroll* ''5th Year, Not-So-Perfect''. Yeah, it sucks, but it needed SOMETHING. xD Anyway, Lizzie and Aimee are OC's, so don't bother asking me whos kids they are. They're just random people brought in from some alternate universe. ;)

As I sit on the rough steps in this cold winters day waiting for my father to tell me to come inside. I know he will eventually but I want to stay alone, facing him time and time again is torture! Around me is the black mansion which is where I live in and surrounding it is snow and naked branches as the leaves has fallen out in comparison to its season. With a flick of my cold black wand a heart appears in the snow, I don’t care about the rules of magic anymore. Then the thought of her face appears in my head and affection rises in my chest, my eyes are feeling hot and my face is turning red. I feel a tear run down my face but it’s not cooling my face down in any way. With another flick of my wand the heart turns black and a crack through the middle breaks it apart and I’m running.
I was asked to do this by lorythefangirl after I responded to her earlier one.
Pros
1. Most of them did believe they were choosing the winning side at the time
2. They would likely be killed if they refused, or otherwise punished.
3. If they come from old pureblood families which share the Death Eaters' beliefs, joining up would help maintain family harmony
4. If they're naturally malicious it gives them an opportunity to kill and torture
Cons
1. Most people wouldn't want to be forced to murder. They might be pushed beyond their own limits, e.g. Draco Malfoy.
2. They'd get imprisoned in Azkaban if caught, or could be killed in self-defence
3. Leaving isn't an option once you're in
4. After they lost, those who'd survived would lose favour even if they avoided punishment
5. Voldemort doesn't seem to be a nice boss
6. It's a story really, and in most stories, the bad guys do end up losing and being punished.

Yep.You HP fans know the moment Im talking about. You know, that moment when Hedwig's Theme played for the last time, when you wanted to cry and cheer, scream and weep at the same time...that time you knew it was ending yet refused to accept it.That moment, when all the boundaries vanished, when we all rose together from different places, from different countries,we all came together, clapping, smiling and crying at the same time. That was the moment when we found that, nothing has really changed, despite everything that has.Amidst the thunderous applause and the shouts and cries in the theater all,we knew that there has never been anything like Harry Potter. And there never will be..and that the oak doors of Hogwarts will always swing open to us in welcome...
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU,HARRY...
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU,HARRY...
