Maybe they're wondering about the future. It never said Leah is the only werewolf forever.

no because most of the werrewolves are male, which would make said werewolf gay, and Imprinting is intended for breeding.... GUY+GUY= NO BABIES...

If a werewolf can imprint on a half-vampire hybrid, why wouldn't they be able to imprint on another wolf? It is a possibility that Leah and all future female werewolves can have children after they stop phasing, so they should be able to imprint or be imprinted upon, or both, by another wolf.

I think werevolves can only imprint on person the opposite sex. Since the bond is spiritual, I think it doesn't so much matter if they (male and female werewolf) can have kids in that moment.

It didn't happen in the books, but I'd think that it's theoretically possible. I'm guessing that Jacob was right in saying that Leah's infertility was temporary and would go away once she could stop phasing regularly, so reproducing wouldn't be an issue. Maybe it wouldn't happen though because if all the werewolves imprint on outsiders, it means more potential werewolves in the next generation.
