Trent's pov!
sometimes your life is so perfect,music career,18 years old,and an amazing girlfriend...but that last one..didn't last so long. you see,i went on a music tour for about a year..leaving angel behind...then coming back,to find....a male having sex with her.....that was when my life ended. i was gonna ask her to marry me,but i guess she couldn't stay faithful to me. i cant tell you the story..its to painful.
(flashback!)
i walked into Gwen's home,it smelled like cinnamon and blueberry's. i hear her giggling and laughing,i think she was talking on the phone with Leshawna. i get the ring out of my pocket and put it in the palm of my hand,and headed upstairs quietly. that's when i heard some weird noises...like moans...grunts....and pleadings? my face paled,i opened the door slowly to find a man inside of my soon to be fiance. she screamed and covered up her body. the man turned around and looked at me pissed..it was....DUNCAN?! he jumped out of her window. i dropped the ring,shattering against the floor. i looked at her with wide eyes,trying to think this was just a joke..but she didn't say anything. you know what? fuck this. i picked up her ring and headed out the door. she ran after me outside,when i was putting my guitar in the passenger seat of my red truck. she was pulling at my arm crying,asking me stuff between sobs. i yanked my arm away from her. and said "i was gonna ask you to be my wife."i said. she put a hand over her mouth. "b-but Trent,i-i want to be your wife."she said. i got pissed and my face turned red. "no,NO you don't! you wouldn't have let that...that BASTARD inside of you! you would have stayed faithful to me!"i shouted. she started to sob,i felt bad for yelling at her,but i HATE Duncan. i just got into the truck and drove away,never looking back. i saw in my mirror that she was running after the truck,but she tripped..and cryed. i just sped up my car and drove off into the night.
(flashback over!)
see how my life is terrible? i`m so lonely now...i look up at the ring i almost gave to her...i loved her..but she-she decided to have fun with someone who is not me,but my worst enemy. *sighs* i`m just gonna have a walk downtown,and sing. that always makes me feel better. i started walking down the cool streets of Ontario,looking at people play and have fun...then i saw a couple kissing. thank god it wasn't her. i looked away,because i felt so sad and broken inside. i`m supposed to be married to Gwen...holding her in my arms everyday..and seeing her pretty face every second..but it will never happen. i felt tears mix in my eyes. i sat down on a bench in the park,and put my face in my hands..i miss her..i picked up my guitar and wiped my tears away and started to sing.
how the hell`d we wind up like this?

i struck the last guitar string,that ended the song. i felt...not so better. that song was about her. i wish she heard that. then i hear a sad voice call my name in a whisper. i just shrug it off,probably just my mind playing tricks on me again. then the voice calls my name again closer and full of more sadness. i turn around and find the person who i was thinking about...Gwen. i was shocked. did she hear me sing? is she still with that asshole Duncan? she looked so sad,like she could break if i touched her. she had tears in her eyes,and she looked so tired..she had those dark rings around her eyes. "hi."i said quiet. she inhaled some air. "hey."she said about to cry. "how have you been?"i said. she sniffed. "horrible."she said her voice cracking. so,she is trying to fake love me again,huh? i started to walk off,but as soon as i turned around,Gwen dropped to her knees and cried. i turned back around to look at her. her face in her hands,tears plummeting down from her eyes,she looked so...miserable. i went by her side,and put a hand on her shoulder. "you okay?"i said. she started balling. "*sniff* no,Trent,nothing is okay..without you."she said before crying again. she missed me. i still don't believe her. "is there anything i can do to help?"i said. she looked at me with tears falling down her eyes. "come back to me..i-i never liked Duncan...he just came to my house,and forced me."she choked out still crying. i felt like a total jerk. i was just sitting there looking at her crying..her giving her heart out to me. i guess she loves me? "well..um."i said with nothing to say. "i love you Trent. and i really did want to be your wife..Duncan ruined it for me."she said her face buried in her hands. she loved me. she wants to be my wife. i tried to say something,but she walked off crying. i pulled on her arm lightly. "where you going?"i said. "h-home."she said sadly. "why?"i said. "because...there is nothing to do in my life anymore."she said hiccuping. i stood up and walked in front of her. "don't you want to marry me?"i said happy. she smiled weakly. "really?"she said shocked. "yeah,i thought you liked Duncan..not me."i said. "no,i`d never like anyone who's not you."she said. i smiled and got down on one knee,pulled out a ring,and put it in her hand. "will you marry me?"i said. she wiped her tears away and smiled. "i`d love too."she said smiling that smile i love. i got up and kissed her crying slightly,happy to be back with her. we both pulled apart and looked at each other tears in our eyes. "i love you Trent."she said putting her hand on my cheek. i put my hand over her hand that was on my cheek. "i love you too,babe."i said. then we kissed again,pulled apart,and went for a walk in the park holding hands,happy to be married soon.
