~!*WARNING*!~
~!*MAJOR SPOILER ALERT*!~

Okay, so I did kinda like Jason at first, but in MoA, he really irritated me. Let me tell you why.

Exhibit A:
Setting: New Rome, Senate House.
Situation: Our very bright Jason decides to ask Reyna if he can show his girlfriend around the city.
My thoughts: WAY TO GO, SMART ONE.
That’s a great way to say hello to your almost-girlfriend/fellow praetor you haven’t seen in months. WE GOT A GENIUS OVER HERE.

Exhibit B:
Setting: The Argo II.
Situation: Making promises to Piper.
My thoughts: Seriously? –facepalm- The last line of that prophecy was, An oath to keep with a final breath…
He could’ve just sealed his fate. Very smart.

Exhibit C:
Setting: Hercules’ Island.
Situation: Mentioning Hera.
My thoughts: Oh. My. God. Really, Jason? No, just no. In the wise words of moi,
One does not simply drop Hera’s name while talking to Hercules, who can smash you to a grease spot.
Your daily wisdom for the day.

Conclusion: Eres un idiota, Jason.
Translation: You’re an idiot, Jason.

This was the vent article I was talking about. Sorry for those of you who actually like him. :)

Everyone, myself included, has been speculating about which baddies we will be seeing in the Heroes of Olympus ever since the end of The Last Olympian. I'm here to once again annoy you to the point of boredom with my opinions and theories. Today I'm discussing the old baddies and throwing in a few new onezs that I think we will become reaquainted with. So, I'll stop rambling on and get to the point.

The Manticore. Yeah, I didn't like him much either, but I can't fight the feeling that he is going to make an appearance in the series. I don't know when and I don't know where, but I know he will...

CHAPTER ELEVEN

I didn't know where we were, but I kept on moving. We (luckily) didn't encounter any monsters.
But, I did see my house.
I stopped short.
Janie slammed into me, "What?"
I pointed, "That's my house." I wanted to go in, maybe even stay there for a few days. We were all getting hungry and there wasn't enough money left to buy any food. Plus, my house has four rooms, huge stash of secret money, and food.
But, one problem, there were police tape lines.
"Can you explain that?" Janie asked.
I nodded, "Easily. My whole family is missing. Of course they'll check out our house."
We looked around....

Ok, so the first thing I thought of when I read the sample chapters was the Argonautica. It seemed to be an easy connection because the hero was Jason and the main character of The Lost Hero is a Jason. Is the connection between The Heroes of Olympus and the Argonautica just superficial? I think not!

Let start with who was on the mission. There may be more, but these are the people that everyone agrees were there.

Acastus, son of King Pelias
Actor, son of Deion the Phocian
Admetus, prince of Pherae
Amphiaraus, the Argive seer
Great Ancaeus of Tegea, son of Poseidon
Little Ancaeus, the Lelegian of...

ANYONE MAY READ THIS AS LONG AS THEY DON'T MIND SPOILERS FROM HOH!

HERE IS MY POINT-I THINK LEO IS GOING TO DIE! THERE! I SAID IT( I just killed my self doing so but) I SAID IT!

sorry for making this so short but this all i could think of so far..

here is my proof-

------------------------------------------------------------

Gaia said that she would get her revenge-
i know this doesn't count as much as she said that to everyone but she thinks that he is the one to die first. She has been plotting his death for much longer. what if this is because she knows that he is also the one to stop HER?! That...

Percy's last meeting with Juno went like this:
Juno warns Percy that Annebeth might be a setback in saving Rome.

Hm, a bit suspicious. No way that's mere coincidence.

And Ella's prophecy did say something about the Mark of Athena.

On top of all of this, the cover of the book "Mark of Athena" is quite scary aswell.
It depicts Jason with his Imperial Gold gladius riding Tempest (the horse he had tamed in the run-down mansion) on a cloud of thunder and lightning charging Percy who is holding Riptide riding on Blackjack on waves of water with an owl (the literal emblem of Athena) in the background.

I...
