We were on the way home, when I decided to ask her a few more questions, learn more about her.
"So Liz, tell me about what happened after your parents O.D.ed, what happened to your siblings?"
She seemed to know exactly what I meant.
"I never had any, so there isn't much to say about that. I had a distant uncle, who didn't want anything to do with me. My mom was an only child and her parents are dead, so no relatives on that side. My grandparents are all dead, my grandmother on my father's side committed suicide after I had lived with her for a year. I was there, and I saw the whole thing, but I can't remember much about that. Just that there was a lot of blood, and she used a piece of broken mirror to do it.
"I remember staring at her, I was angry and I don't remember why, but I was staring at her, so angry I was shaking, I watched as a piece of glass impaled her, a piece she was holding."
Wow, that's horrible, to witness the death of someone you're close to, she's surrounded by death. First her parents, then her grand mother. Now all she has left is her uncle, and he doesn't want anything to do with her.
I listened to her thoughts. I could tell she wasn't telling me something.
I killed her, it was all my fault. I broke the mirror. She was unconscious because I hit her over the head with the mirror. She wasn't even holding the glass. I made it move, I was just so angry. Maybe I was just seeing things, I was just so angry. I can't let this get to me. I remember the glass lifting off the ground, by itself, I remember it lifted and then floated and straightened over her neck. Then it fell, but it looked like it was diving. Diving into her neck. It killed her. It's my fault, I just know it.
She looked up. Oh no, he's looking at me, I'm just glad he can't read minds, wait why'd he just smirk? What if he can read minds? Then he could hear what I did, so he knows I killed my grandmother.
She turned to look out the window. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, obviously if she were a vampire, she would have a gift. Her gift would be mind related, probably telekenesis. She would be special. It wasn't her fault.
I ran, I just ran and never looked back. Still haven't gone back. It wasn't my fault, was it? Was it my fault?
You shouldn't blame yourself, you were angry and it wasn't your fault, I just wanted to scream at her, to make her see that, it wasn't her fault at all.
Then we pulled up at the house.
I scrambled out of the car and to the trunk before she had opened her door. I had her luggage as she closed the door. I lead her up the front steps and into the living room.
"Would you like a grand tour,"I asked her to distract myself.
"Sure,"she said, it sounded like she loved the place already.
"Emmett? Will you take Liz's stuff up to my room. After the tour, can I have everyone outside, so that I can show Liz what I promised her?"
She blushed, so like Bella, I gritted my teeth. I walked her past the stairs and straight to the dining room.
"This is the dining room."
Then we headed toward the well-stocked kitchen.
"This is where we store the food. And since your human, we can cook for you if you want, or you can make your own if you prefer,"I pointed to the cupboards and the stove.
I guided her back towards the hidden hallway.
"Back this way is the bathroom and a cleaning closet, your free to use either, if you feel the need."
She smiled at me, then I led the way up the stairs. I pointed to each door and told her what it was. Then, just like Bella, she stopped at the cross.
"So, religious stuff doesn't hurt you?"
"No, that's a myth, like the sun, and we don't sleep."
"You don't sleep,"her eyes widened a little as she asked the question.
"We can't,"I gave her a simple answer.
"That sounds boring. What do you do at night, since you can't sleep?"
"Play the piano, read. What else is there to do?"
"I don't know, how old are you? Both physically and realistically."
"Well physically I'm 17. Realistically, I was born in 1901."
I let her do the math in her head. Five seconds later, her mouth dropped open and her eyes got really big.
"You're 105 years old?"
"Yes, you seem surprised,"I grinned.
"Well, yeah, you're an old guy trapped in a 17 year old body."
"Yeah,"my smile got wider,"but I still feel like I'm 17. So what does it matter if I'm actually 105?"
"It doesn't really matter, but I guess I'm just shocked is all."
I had to change the subject before that comment went to my head.
"You know, this cross is from the 1600s, Carlisle's dad made it. Carlisle was turned by a wild vampire whose coven was living in the sewers under the streets of London. He changed while he stayed quiet, a surprising thing, since the change is so painful,"for some reason, I wanted her to know everything and it was suddenly hard to keep it from her,"he tried killing himself, but it's really hard to kill a vampire. He never fed on a human, he was hiding in the forest, away form civilization when he realized he could live off of animals. So starved was he that he drank from deer. He became more civilized and over time, he swam the channel to France. He made his way to Italy, where he met another coven of vampires, this one more civilized than the wraiths under the streets of London. They are the Volturi, they're the royalty to us vampires, the law. He stayed with Aro, Marcus, and Caius for a decade, trying to persuade them to try animals, while they tried to persuade him to keep the natural food source. He decided to come to the new world."
"Poor Carlisle, tot have to fight what he is, just because he was turned."
"Carlisle changed me, and everyone else in my family, except Alice and Jasper. Jasper was the youngest major during the civil war, while Alice was in an assylum for her human life. Carlisle only changed us because we were dying. I almost died of the Spanish Influenza, Esme jumped off a cliff, they took her straight to the mortuary. Rosalie was beaten by her drunk fiance and left to die on the street, she saved Emmett from a grizzly bear and brought him to Carlisle."
I let this sink in.
"Well let's continue our tour,"I said, waiting half a minute before I said anything.
I led her up to the second floor, where I pointed out each door again.
Then we reached my room and I opened the door. She gasped. I watched as she took in the scene.
"How are these ordered?"
"By year than by preference."
She walked along, reading each CD as I read her face and watched her reaction.
She jumped on the bed.
"So, if you don't sleep, why do you have this very comfortable bed here?"
"Well, Bella,"I winced as the name brought back memories,"used to sleep in it, and I didn't feel like getting rid of it."
"Oh,"she said in a small voice.
"Wow what a beautiful landscape,"she said as she hopped off the bed and stood just two feet away from me.
"Yeah. I can't argue from my point either,"I said watching her.
She looked over at me, blushed then smiled at the floor.
"Ready to see what I can do?"
She smiled from ear to ear as she looked at me again.
"Of course."
Then I took her hand and gently pulled her down stairs.
Within the past month, I put a pick up on the Vampires Spot asking about people's favorite book series about vampires. In the comments of this pick, I got into an argument about whether the vampires of Twilight are actual vampires (lame to argue about this, I know hahaha).
Specifically she was telling me that Edward wasn't really a vampire because "he has no fangs and doesn't need blood to survive, also the sun thing...". I replied saying that just because Stephenie made her vampires different doesn't mean that they're not vampires. In the end we agreed to disagree.
Personally, I feel that the...

Okay so I was just looking through my pictures, and I found this:

Characters Heights
Characters Heights

I can't remember where I got it from (possibly edwardandbella.com?) but I just thought it as really interesting.
I mean look how small Alice is, when the book says she's small I didn't think she'd be that much smaller than Bella.
And look how tall Jacob is...hmm maybe he would win in a fight against Edward...maybe not, Edward is good at everything afterall.
So anyway, I just thought it would be useful for people who have trouble picturing the characters heights -like me :).
Tell me what you think- does it help at all??

Okay so here's a little game that I found. Just like the real bingo, but for when you say one of the comments -and you've probably said one of the comments more then once lol.
Okay so some of the boxes are a little mean, for example '*ignores Jacobs existence*'. Please don't take offence, I didn't make this. And there are some spelling mistakes too, but I'm sure you can read it.
I just glanced over it then, and I would say I fill about 10 (how come it's so popular if it's so cr*appy being one I use often-my friends just don't understand lol). How many do you think you can fill, comment below :)
I just thought it was something funny; tell me what you think please.
How many have you filled?

So these are, by far, my favorite quotes from the first 3 books. (I haven't read breaking dawn yet :P)

1.If seth didn't cut it out, I was going to throw a pinecone at him.-Bella (I just think that's hilarious.)
2.Your hair looks like a haystack. But I like it. -Edward
3.I love you. I want you. Right now. -Edward.
4.Marry me first. -Edward
5.I'll never forgive myself for leaving you.-Edward
6.Does my being half naked bother you? -Jacob

I can't think of any more... But feel free to add on XD

TWILIGHT - chapter 5 - BLOOD TYPE

As I half-ran to class, my head was spinning faster than the bottle cap. So few questions had been answered in comparison to how many new questions had been raised. At least the rain had stopped.
I was lucky; Mr. Banner wasn't in the room yet when I arrived. I settled quickly into my seat, aware that both Mike and Angela were staring at me. Mike looked resentful; Angela looked surprised, and slightly awed.
Mr. Banner came in the room then, calling the class to order. He was juggling a few small cardboard boxes in his arms. He put them down...

Twilight unlike Harry Potter has SEX. something to get a mature reader into.

Twilight unlike Harry Potter started from a dream. Inspiring dreamers.

Twilight unlike Harry Potter shows real depression unlike Harry who always complains his parents died and he didnt even know them or when his uncle. or whoever died he was happy in a couple of days.
Bella she was really and truly depressed and HURT.

Twilight books arent as long as Harry Potter books you dont have to sit there and read page aftert page of nothingness

Twilight teaches us that we can be mature about bad situations and that we dont have...
