I was starting to get hungry so I took a big sip from my water. Here is another water bottle, you might want some more later. Thanks, I better get going before someone catches me. I told Jackson. sand was kind of hot under my feet but it probably felt better than the pavement right now. It didn't take as long as I thought for the
storm to get here. Soon everyone left the beach, including the lifeguards so that ment that I was able to hind in the lifeguard tower. It hadn't started storming that big when 2 boys showed up. got your tounge? The bigest one said. They were both bigger than me but I had confidence that I could take the down. You know what, I think I have seen you on tv. Really? Ony of the boys asked. Yeah, didn't you play one of the guys on Dumb and Dumber? I asked them. I never knew, how lame that line was but it work, they were pretty
ticked at me. I couldn't help just smile. I still had on my hat that Jackson gave me but I had it turne backwards so I could fight better if I needed too. One of the guys came at me with his fist. I ducked and he hit his knuckles on the wall. Hahaha nice move. I told him. The other guy grabbed me from behind and slammed me againist the wall. It hurt but not anough to show it. He turned me around and punched me in the gut. It hurt so bad so I kicked him down south. I ran out the door, than the other guy grabbed me and punched me in the in the face. I felt my tooth cut through my bottom lip. I could feel the blood
running down my chin. The second guy came out with my skateboard and tried to hit me on the side of my head, I ducked in time and he fell
through the window. It was funny, but for only a few seconds. The first guy nailed me in the shoulder and right above my right eyebrow. One guy held my arms behind my back while the other punched me in the stomach. He did it 4 or 5 times before he let my arms go. It was pooring rain and it was lighting and thundering reall bad. I stoud up and nail on guy right in the nose, I heard it crack. I broke his nose. The guy with broken nose started to leave but the secong guy stayed. I was in the corner of the rail, he came over and picked me in the stomach and punched me by my mouth again. I dropped to the ground. I was in so much pain it was horrible. He left and I saw him checking on his friend's face. I laided in the same spot forever it felt like, I was finially able to crawl back inside. I laid againist the back wall in a lot of pain. My stomach hurt so bad I thought I was going to puke my guts out. I finially was able to go to sleep.

I woke up to the sun rising. I was happy that no one had found me. I found my hat, cover the side of my face with my hair, and than stuck my hat on. I guess I slepted through that worst part of the storm because it was sunny and everything. I looked around the lifeguard shack inside to see if there was any blood that they might find. I
didn't find any which I was thankful for. I was walking out of the lifeguard shack when I ran into Jackson. I mumble sorry, kept walking and hopping that he wouldn't know it was me. Taylor? Jackson said. It made me stop in my tracks. I slowly turned around and walked toward him with my head down. What on earth happen to you? Jackson said as he looked at my knuckles and face. I uhh got into a fight but it wasn't my falt. I told him. Look, you can tell me while I get those cuts cleaned up. Jackson said. No, thanks I don't want to get caught. I said. Your not going to get caught, I came early. Jackson said. I followed him back to one of the offices. You better start explaining yourself. Jackson said. I told him everything while he cleaned my
knuckle, lip and my eyebrow. They punched you in the stomach how many times? Jackson asked shocked. Well if you had all the hits to my
stomach together than it equals to about 8 or 9 times. I said to Jackson. Do you know why these boys would beat you up? Jackson asked. Yeah, it's because I'm Taylor, they were thinking if they beat me up they could turn me into the cops but that all change when they rilzed I could fight. I said. Okay, let me feel your stomach, I want to make sure everything is okay in there. Jackson told me. I laid back on the table, he started feelig around my rib cage. Ugh, everything is fine can you stop? I was begging Jackson, it hurt so much. Okay, look take this backpack, it has food, water, change of clothes, and everything.
No Jackson, I can't take that from you. I told him as I sat back up. Well, I am tellig you to so take. Jackson said in a grown up tone. So I took the backpack. Thanks for everything. How come you want to help me? I asked Jackson. Because I not like everyone else, I don't think you have done anything wrong, you just want to be free. Jackson said. I wish that there was more people like you. I told him. Wow, it's Taylor! The guy said as he walked closer to Jackson and I. I hopped off the table and started jogging towards the door. Taylor, it's okay he is a friend. I had my hand on the door and turned around. Wow, I can't believe I am face to face with someone that the cops are after. I told them I out the backpack on the table and stuck the gun in the biggest pocket at the bottom of the backpack. Why do you have a gun? Jackson asked me. I don't know, I have always had it. I had my back turn towards the front door and while the front of me was towards the back door while the front of me was turned to the back door. There are some extra clothes in the backpack, go change and I will take those home with me and wash them for you. Jackson said. Okay, cool thank you. I told him. Where can I change. I asked them. Follow me. Jesse said. I followed him down the hall., he showed me to a closet. Are you going to lock me in here and turn me into the cops? I asked Jesse. Hhahaha no I wouldn't do that. Jesse said. I went inside and found out that Jackson packed me some girly clothes. The shorts were right above my knee which was okay I guess. They weren't to short and they weren't too long. The shirt was a pink Element, I was glad the shirt wasn't neon pink. JAckson also gave me a one-peice bathing suit. It was a speedo, it was navy blue with light blue stripes down the side. I quickly got changed. I opened the door a little bit, I was scarred that I would hit Jesse in the back if he was standing infront of it. Wow, you look like a girl, no offence, and you will blend in with your age. Jesse said. If I wanted to blend in with my age I would be skinner and I would have to wear a 2peice bathing suite. I said. I was standing on his left. Jesse who is here? I asked him. Its my boss! Jesse said panickly. Your boss is walking this way? I asked him. Yeah, umm... Out of blue Jesse started kissing me! When he tells me to quiet put your head down like your embarrassed. Jesse wispered in my ear. Thankfuly I had on my hat so when I looked down he wouldn't see my face. I had never been kissed on the lips before. It felt odd but so right. I heard the dude cleear his throat so I looked down. Uhh Hi sir. Jesse said. Jesse I don't want you to be makingout on your job, that can wait till after your job. Sorry, sir. Jesse said. Then the boss dude walked away. Sorry about that, I panicked and didn't know what else to do. Jesse said. Its okay, aleast I didn't get caught. I told him. Jackson cam around the corner and said " did I just hear him say don't make-out on your job hours?" Uhh, yeah, I panicked and I didn't know what else to do. Jesse told Jackson.
