How does it feel to win fan of the month for May?
I'm always flattered users notice my contributions, so thank you all so much!
Why do you think the fans chose you?
I guess it's because I'm pretty active, even though I'm on and off with Fanpop. When I do go on, I usually make as much polls and articles as possible.
Do you think you deserved to be fan of the month? (be honest), if not, who do think should have been voted fan of the month?
I think I deserved it, though other users deserved it just as much, if I'm allowed to say that. Hmm... she doesn't come on Fanpop anymore but I feel the need to mention BelleAnastasia. Because thanks to her countdowns on the CAMH club, that inspired me to make more articles on Fanpop. I started with the Sexiest Animated Females countdown on this spot and did more and more articles afterwards.
Who is your favorite animated movie heroine and why?
Mulan- I love the struggle she goes through trying to find herself, how she could only succeed when being herself. She taught me that maybe my time to bloom will come later, maybe in a different field... this speaks to me so much and tells me there's no use in being disappointed with myself, trying to meet other people's expectations.
Who is your least favorite animated movie heroine and why?
The one that's on top of my head right now is Tinkerbell, from the Peter Pan movies. I'm not going to call her names but I think some of those words describe her pretty well. Not to mention, jealousy is one of the ugliest trait a person can have IMO. I would find her more tolerable if she were a villain, but she is classified as a heroine when she doesn't even possess traits that are worthy of one.
What is your favorite type of heroine and why?
So it's cliché but my favorite has got to be the heroine that goes through an interesting emotional journey, I can relate most to one that grows out of her insecurities. Although, that's not to say a confident character that has herself well put together can't be one of my favorites.
What is your least favorite type of heroine and why?
The one that is an overused archetype of a heroine, one that is typically idealistic and one-sided if you know what I mean. I think that makes her predictable and misunderstood by the viewer in the worst way.
What type of heroine do you wish existed?
I wish there was a heroine who learned something from the hero, and not the other way around. Because apparently, men are all dumbasses who need to be taught a lesson and women are the ones who are always right. That's why I hate the trope that consists of the woman having to reshape her male counterpart. So yeah, I wish she was cocky-or something at the beginning, but eventually has a change of heart thanks to a man. Her character development should be done right though, otherwise I prefer no character development at all.
What's your favorite animated movie?
Gotta go with Mulan! There's not one single character in that movie I dislike. Well, maybe the Matchmaker but she sure serves her purpose. It's action-packed and there are so many significant scenes. Out of all Disney movies, it's the one that gets me the most emotionally involved and I think the humor in it is timeless.
What's your least favorite animated movie?
*Scurries to KataraLover's article* I keep myself away from movies that are known for being awful so I haven't seen a lot of those ''kinds'' of movies. There's not an animated movie I particularly loathe so I guess I have to say Disney sequels. Yeah yeah, I'm one of those people that don't give Disney sequels much of a chance. But I honestly think they are lazy profitable movies that deviate too much from its original source and that's why I don't consider them canon. I can enjoy a few of them though.
Who is your favorite and least favorite TV show animated heroines and why?
My favorite is Princess Sissi. These days, I feel like society brainwashes people into thinking femininity = weakness. So I really enjoy a very feminine and sweet- yet interesting character like Sissi. I also love her relationship with Franz.
My least favorite is Hilary from Beyblade. There are a lot more anime characters I dislike for some reason, but she's got to be the one I like the least because she is completely useless. It's nice that there were more female characters in the later seasons of Beyblade, since that show is a sausage fest but she makes the series hard to enjoy. She butts in way too much and I can only remember her as the girl who fawns over Kai.
Who is your favorite and least favorite animated child heroine?
My favorite is Lilo. She idolizes Elvis and takes pictures of fat people, you can't go wrong with this weird hilarious kid.
My least favorite is Melody. One of the reasons I adore Ariel is because she is a great flawed character. And Melody is exactly like her mother, minus the flaws. So my opinion of her is that she is a bad copy of Ariel. I really need to re-watch TLM2 though.
Which animated movie do you think has the best animation?
Bambi, it's definitely an artistic masterpiece, even by today's standards. It's just so beautiful, I'm impressed every time I watch the movie. The animals are lifelike and the backgrounds are absolutely stunning!
Which animated movie do you think has the best music and songs?
Is it corny if I say A Goofy Movie? Pop culture was a huge focus of the 90's and I can imagine Powerline's songs topping the billboard charts of that decade, if Disney were more exposed. The music in that movie hits home with the nostalgia and has that 90's feel to it that I just love.
And finally, do you have anything else you'd like to say to the CAMH fans?
Let me tell you, my old articles on Fanpop really weren't that great. Although I wrote many as time goes on so I became better at writing them. And I think everyone should keep that in mind; keep doing it and you will eventually get the hang of it. If you got my message, I wasn't only speaking about writing articles ;)

Alice is listening to her sister read aloud from a history book, which she vocally expresses her boredom. While wandering off, Alice lays down a riverbank wishing that she had a world of her own. Just then she sees a white rabbit. He frantically exclaims how late he is, which make curious and causes her to follow him. As Alice crawls inside the rabbit hole and she accidentally fell in to a world she never imagined.
Alice - She is the main character. She was listening to her sister giving her a lesson. She contastly tells her to stop daydreaming and pay attention. Ok so some people mightn't know what this one is about but I have this on Vhs and I actually like it . I got it as a present from my mom so I watched it . I love it although the only flaw I have to it is that its too short (48 mins). With great music and enchanting moments like the ball prehaps this version of Cinderella is indeed charming and very sweet. The story begins where Cinderella's mother passed on and her father goes off for a few days leaving her with her wicked stepmother and her two ugly stepsisters. Nearby lives a handsome prince who is seeking a bride.
Personally if you haven't seen it then do see the film I tell ya its very sweet and charming .
Verdict: The fairytale story children love
Rating: 8/10 very short but worth a buy
