Because PociandSmith has stopped coming to this spot, I was given the honor to interview our FOTM for November Swanpride :)

1. Congratulations on winning Fan of the Month! How does it feel?
Thank you - I'm a little bit overwhelmed. I'm not just new at this spot, I'm new at fanpop in general, and I didn't expect this at all. I already felt very honored when I saw that I was in the pick and discovered that diluka had nominated me. Thank you to him and everyone, who voted for me. It feels good to know that people liked my articles.

2. Who was your favorite princess when you were a child? Why?
I'm a little bit older than most of the members here, because of that, I was on the verge of becoming a teenager when the Disney Renaissance started. Between the three classic princesses, Cinderella was my favorite, and is still my number three.

3. Who is your favorite princess now? Why?
I always say I have a favorite for each age - Cinderella for my childhood until in my early teenager years Belle came along and kept the spot for a long, long time (when I was in that age, I was well known in the whole neighborhood for walking home from school while reading). Until Rapunzel came along - I think from all the Disney Princesses, she is the most creative with the most interesting story, and I love her design. I especially admire the strength she displays in freeing herself from her abuser. And I love her relationship with Eugene - I think it's the most well rounded of all of them.

4. When you were a child, did you ever wish you could be like your favorite princess?
Yes and no - my sister and I played "Cinderella" a couple of times, but just as often we played "ugly stepsisters", putting cushions under our clothes and tried to immitate the strange walk. Perfect is admirable, but it's also boring, plus, I had enough real life rolemodels

5. Your favorite & why:
Prince:
Philip - he wants to give up his throne for Aurora and fights against the most evil and dangerous Disney Villain ever.

Disney Princess Song: That's difficult, I spend so much time thinking about the soundtracks for my article series, I have more or less for every category a personal favorite, and I had to reevaluate a lot of my opinions. "Once upon a dream" has a special place in my heart though.

Disney Princess Movie: Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Tangled, not necessarily in that order. All three of them are a work of art in my eyes, especially Sleeping Beauty.

Disney Princess sidekick: No idea, but some which are stand out are Grumpy (the most intereing character in Snow White), the three fairies (they are more protaginists than sidekicks, though - and I prefer them in the German dubbing), Mushu and Crikey (they are a great commedic team) and Maximus (he is just awesome)

Disney Princess Villain: Maleficent, hands down. Not just is she awesome, she is one of the few who is evil just for the sake of being evil.

Disney Princess Movie score: Sleeping Beauty - sorry Alan Menken, but this one is nearly impossible to beat.

Disney Princess Sequel: I loathe all the Disney direct-to-video-sequels, with the notable exceptions of "Aladdin and the King of Thiefes". Since the original Movie already had a cartoony style, the differenc in the quality of the animation is not that exreme than in the other ones, the voice acting is top notch, the story is a little bit predictable but interesting enough, the songs are catchy and it's a very good conclusion to the TV-Show.

6. Is there one Disney Heroine you wish could have been made a Disney Princess?
Not really - to me, the selection is totally logical. The only one who perhaps got ripped off is Megara, but I don't really like all the pop culture references in Hercules, so I'm kinde glad that she isn't included, though I really like her character.

7. Pretend there were no 'official disney princess' (meaning Esmerelda, Kida, and all the other Disney heroines would be part of this spot too) would your current princess favorite change or stay the same?
Yes, though Jane would compete for the top spot

8. Did you ever have a crush on a Disney Prince? If so, which one?
Phillip - he does slay the dragon.

9. If you could change one thing in the lineup, what would it be?
Only one thing? I have some issues with the line-up, but I think what annoys me the most, is that especially the classic princesses don't really look like they are in the movies. And I really hate the way the draw Rapunzel, that doesn't look like her at all, her eyes are big, but they are not THAT big. So I guess my first change would be to make sure that the princesses look like themselves.

10. Which princess do you think you're most similar to?
Belle - and yes, I know, predictable, but as I mentioned above, I actually was the girl whose nose was stuck in a book and everyone called odd. I'm not sure if I would be as brave as Belle (though I am as stubborn and nosy as her), but I certainly don't want to find out

11. Which princess do you think is the most beautiful on the outside? What about on the inside?
Aurora, hands down. On the inside - I think innocence is beautiful, so Snow White is it.

12. What's one thing from one of the movies you wish you had? (like maybe Pocahontas' necklace, or Rapunzel's tiara...)
The painted box in which Rapunzel keeps her painting supplies.

13. Do you look like one of the princesses? If you do, which one?
Not really

14. Would you rather:
Be a mermaid or a frog?:
A mermaid

Have a dragon and a cricket as sidekicks or a lightning bug and a crocodile?: Definitly the Dragon and the cricket.

Have the most beautiful voice or be the most beautiful girl?: Voice

Marry a peasant or a prince?: Depends on the peasant and the prince.

Be a princess or a peasant?: Neither nor. Being a Lady is fine, enough money to life comfortable, but with more freedom than a princess would have.

15. Which princess do you think seems to be the most flawless?
Flawless in a sense of having no faults? Cinderella, I think. Really, her life sucks and she still smiles and is friendly to everyone. The last thing I would do if I had to work all day would be sewing little dresses for mice in my nearly none existent spare time.

16. If you could be any of the princesses or a character from their movies, who would you be?
Aurora - it's a no-brainer, she is the most beautiful, has a beautiful singing voice, a big family and gets Philip at the end of the movie. Or Mulan - I wouldn't really care about going to war, but just for the moment of China bowing to me, I wouldn't mind living her life.

17. Is your number one favorite disney movie a disney princess movie or a regular disney movie?
That's a little bit like comparing jeans to an evening gown - there is for each category (based on books, based on original stories aso) one movie I like more than the others. But my favorite DP movies aside, my top ten of my favorite Disney animated movies include Dumbo, Lilo and Stitch, The great Mouse Detective, Treasure Planet and Fantasia. But I really can't tell which I like the most - I have a great respect for Fantasia, which certainly is the greatest Masterpiece Disney ever did, but I don't think that it's really my favorite from an emotional point of view.

18. What was the first disney princess movie you saw?
I don't know - I watched Disney movies as long as I can remember, but it has to be one of the three classical ones.

19. Who is your least favorite princess?
Pocahontas, I think. I find her very dull - yes, I know, she leaps off cliffs and so on, but that doesn't make her character interesting. I also find her whole design confusing - she looks older than the other princesses, but she often acts like a little child. And I don't get why she doesn't speak up for John Smith immediatly, if she is so in love with him. I'm more a "get it done" type, and her moping around, not being able to decide on her next step, although a life is at stake, just annoys me.

20. What is your least favorite disney princess movie?
"The Princess and the Frog" - while I don't dislike Tiana, I find her hard to relate too, Naveen is the kind of man I would keep my distance from in reality, I really hate the "From hate to love"-trope, I don't think that butt-jokes are funny, the pacing in the movie is off, and the music is okay but lame. The only thing in the whole move I really like is Lottie.

Thank you again Swanpride for your answers and thanks to all of you who took the time to read this article :)

World Idol? I guess not!
World Idol? I guess not!
Hi guys, since I had done Let it Go for Frozen, now it's Mulan's turn for her pop version of Reflection. Ready?

Mandarin Chinese (Coco Lee)

This was the first version that I heard and it's sung by Coco Lee, her version is the only authentic as it is sung in Mandarin and was Asia's answer to Christina Aguilera (no puns intended), who sang the original and in Spanish. I wish they do a duet sometimes in the near future!

English (Christina Aguilera & Jackie Evancho)

The original version that started it all, I fell in love with this version as Christina has an amazing voice and she is my favourite...

To be or not to be?
To be or not to be?
Okay, so there have been speculations that Elsa should be a lesbian in the upcoming Frozen sequel. So here is my question on whether our favourite snow queen should be a lesbian or not.

Elsa shouldn't be a Lesbian

I personally think that Elsa should not be a lesbian in the upcoming movie for a number of reasons. This is because it would alienate younger children who grew a liking on Elsa because she is a very popular character since the release on the fame movie internationally.
Secondly, if she was a lesbian, the sequel will be banned in certain Orthodox countries. Like Russia, Greece and just...

To continue the Halloween theme, I thought it would be neat to picture each Disney Princess' favorite Halloween-themed activity. I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Prefer to stay indoors on Halloween:

Snow White: Passing Out Candy- I think Snow White look most forward to passing out candy to all of the spunky visiting children. I think the smile on their faces as she drops the candy in their little bags would make her very happy. I don't think she'd be much interested in any of the more scary elements of this holiday.

Cinderella: Making Costumes- Whether a costume for herself or all of...
