We don't need no men!
We don't need no men!
I'm just going to apologize for my terrible humor ahead of time. I wrote this sooo late ahaha. Ahh November. The Season of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the time of the turkeys. Turkeys are a very important animal in history. They are the animal of love. Don't believe me? Look at all the coincidences; turkeys make love with each other (bow chicka wow wow), they bring love to the obese, and best of all they are shaped like hearts...well close enough. With all these coincidences, it would be a crime to not write about my favorite couples in this joyous time of turkeys and making love. Oh, and sorry if you're not American and had to deal with the painful Americanness that was that paragraph. Anyways, without further ado, time to begin.

10. Mulan and Shang

Coming in at last place is Mulan and Shang. They're great as individuals, but they're relationship just falls short. It seems like it was just a second thought and added on at the end, just for the sake of adding it on. Their reactions are sweet, and it's nice to see them develop as friends, but when the guy thinks the other person's a guy, you can't expect it to be very romantic. Still, it's a pretty realistic relationship and isn't terrible, and I definitely enjoy watching some of there awkward scenes together.

9. Belle and Beast

Most people seem to either love or hate this relationship, and although I don't hate it, I definitely don't love it. I find it a bit forced and creepy. The whole message of looks not mattering is a great message, but seeing that it started as captivity really bothers me. The one thing I love about this relationship is how when it progresses, the Beast is all fidgety and awkward because he wants to impress Belle. I find that very sweet. All in all I used to really love this relationship, and I still do, but it's roots bothers me.

can you be a beast again like oooh grossss

8. Cinderella and Charming

This is where I start liking the couples, though this couple is far from perfect. Charming doesn't even care about her enough to go searching for her. When Phillip looses Aurora, he's willing to fight a dragon for her, when Prince looses Snow White, he searches for an entire year for her, but when Charming looses Cinderella, he just sends someone else to look for her. Despite that fact, I just find them the least interesting couple left, and the relationship itself is only shown for a couple of minutes. The song they sing together is one of my all time favorites though, and I feel that if we could've seen more interaction they'd be higher on my list, because Cinderella really deserves this after all she's gone through!

so this is love? hmm, chicken sounds better

7. Ariel and Eric

Idk....I've just never seen the appeal. It definitely doesn't help that both Ariel and Eric are low on my favorites lists, both in the bottom two, in fact, but despite that I still don't see the hype. It bothers me a bit that the bulk of their relationship consists of Ariel not being able to speak, and Eric being in love with another woman. The entire middle part of the movie where Eric doesn't even love her just rubs me the wrong way, and makes me view Eric as a bit superficial. Like, if he really did love Ariel, you think after he spent all that time with her he'd realize it, and not just marry Vanessa because she has a nice voice. Regardless, they're definitely an endearing couple, and I enjoy parts of their relationship.

6. Jasmine and Aladdin

This is really where I start loving the relationships. If it wasn't for one thing, they'd probably be higher, and I'm sure you already know what I'm thinking. The lies. Unlike most though, it isn't a make it or break it moment for me. Yes he lies, but the fact that he cares about her enough to lie I find a bit sweet. Still, a lie is a lie, and the fact that their relationship is built solely on them is quite annoying. Still, what time they do spend together you can tell they are both genuinely in love. Aladdin is the first "prince" to treat Jasmine as an actual human being instead of a prize, and Jasmine is the first person to treat Aladdin as an actual person instead of just a street rat. It also helps that they go on one of the most romantic experiences ever, of course.

5. Snow White and Prince

Yes, they're the classic "love at first sight" type relationship, but unlike most I love that type of relationship. When I go into a Disney movie in general I'm not looking for a physiological masterpiece, I'm looking for a nice fairy tale that can transport me, and I've always viewed "love at first sight" relationships as the perfect fairy tale type. You don't quite know why they're in love, but that's the good thing. No complications, no cheating, it's just simple and sweet. Anyway they're just both sweet hearts, and you can tell by the smile of Snow's face when Prince wakes her up, and his smile back, how much they love each other.

4. Rapunzel and Flynn

I really tried to make sure I wasn't doing this article based only off my favorites, and tried to weigh in how I viewed them as a couple, so who I thought would be my number one couple, due to me loving the princess and prince, ended up being in forth. Anyway, I really do love them as a couple. I love how we can see them develop, and start to grow feelings for one another. Unlike most, I don't think it happens out of no where. I think you can see the developing, especially on Flynn's part. The biggest downfall, is I agree with the argument that they are a bit more like high school sweethearts, and it takes away a bit from the relationship. Still, they're a great couple, and I love watching their relationship.

3. Pocahontas and John Smith

FIGHT ME! Yes, Poca and John made it this far. What is known by many as the worst couple in the franchise, built solely on lust, is my third couple. I don't quite know why, I just know I love the "forbidden love" type romance. It just brings up the stakes in a relationship, and makes me want to see what will happen next. It also helps that they have my all time favorite Disney love song, If I Never Knew You. (Which didn't make it into the original version of the movie, which is so annoying) I just find them really fun to watch, and I feel like they really compliment each other. Yes, there relationship is a bit sudden, but I think they learn from each other, and they just seem like a fun couple overall.

2. Aurora and Phillip

I told you, I love the classic love story, and no love story is better than there's in my opinion. I love how they are betrothed, then by chance sixteen years later they meet again, not knowing who each other in actually is. It's just the perfect story. Their scene in the woods is definitely a highlight of the movie for me, and I love how they've literally been dreaming about each other (ok, maybe not Phillip, he probably just wanted her so he went along with her craziness, but I'm just gonna pretend that they both dreamed about each other) I just love what Phillip is willing to do to get to Aurora, and I love their happily ever after.

1. Merida

Could it be anyone else? Nothing is better than having no man at all! That's AWESOME!!! She sure shows everybody else!!! I'd like to think she's in a committed relationship with her hair, because with that type of hair you're either in or you're out! She's just AWESOME!! Go her! Single women rule the world!

I LAHV MAH HAAR!
I LAHV MAH HAAR!

MY REAL 1. Tiana and Naveen

Did I trick you? XD Probably not. Merida's erotic relationship with her hair is awesome and all, but Tiana and Naveen top the cake in my opinion. They're just meant to be in my opinion. They bring out the best in each other, and together they complete one another. Tiana helps Naveen slow down, and realize what he really wants in life, while Naveen helps Tiana stop worrying so much, and realize what she really wants in life. My all time favorite scene between the two of them is when Naveen is trying to propose. It just has to be the sweetest thing ever, because the annoying brat we saw at the beginning of the movie has been transformed into a caring, hesitant guy, who really, really cares for Tiana. It's just so awesome, and I definitely belief they deserve first!

Derek and Odette, together in love.
Derek and Odette, together in love.
Okay, since Disney had adapted Sleeping Beauty in 1959 and used Tchaikovsky's music for the film. In 1994, Richard Rich a former Disney animator, adapted it under the name as The Swan Princess. Here are my thoughts on whether or not Disney should do The Swan Lake.

Disney Should Adapt It

I personally think that Disney should adapt this story, although the majority of ballet companies have tragic endings. Some of them have a happy ending, including the 1994 animated version. The only problem is the music, whether or not to keep traditions with Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

Disney Should Not Adapt It

As mentioned, I had listened to the famous piece from this ballet. Sadly to say, the music are dark, dramatic and sinister for a Disney film. Considering that it is a family-friendly environment!

To Be or Not To Be?

So there you have it, do you think Disney should adapt it or not?

Enchantress in disguise!
Enchantress in disguise!
Hi guys, I did a poll earlier and a sudden realisation about the Enchantress had struck me. So, I will write an interesting theory about her!

Beauty and the Beast

We first seen her in the Prologue as an old woman, when Prince Adam spurned her. Her true nature is shown and in retaliation, she turned him into a beast and tells him that only true loves can redeem him inside, as well as the outside.

Cinderella (2015)

Upon re-watching this, I just found out that the Fairy Godmother is actually the Enchantress herself. Only this time, when she turns into her true self, she changes her appearance and that she must have been watching Ella the whole time, I suspect that she doesn't want Ella to suspect that her beloved Fairy Godmother might have cursed Prince Adam!

Do You Agree?

I was really surprise by this theory, considering that it is set in France! Or is it just another Disney doppelganger?

Princess Anna and Queen Elsa got invited to a fancy party. Elsa made sure that she and Anna dressed fancy.

Anna said "This outfit is uncomfortable." Anna's dress was warm, long, and she had a mildly hard time breathing.

Elsa said "It's meant to be fancy."

Anna said "It's too fancy."

Elsa said "Nothing can be too fancy."

Anna said "Whatever."

Elsa said "You better be on your best behavior."

Anna said "I'll try, but I can't promise you anything."

Anna and Elsa went to the party. Alice Kingsleigh was there. She was a ship captain who saved Underland. She was wearing her ship captain outfit.

8. Pocahontas's brown dress

Aw, I'm so sad this dress was the first to leave since it's one of my favorites out of the winning dresses. I love its unique style. Sadly, fans didn't agree and this dress was deemed to be the worst of the best.

Hi guys, since there was a poll about these 2 movies. It would be interesting if I were to compare both movies.

Pocahontas

Okay, many of you all know about her real-life story. However, in the Disney adaptation of her life. She first set eyes on John Smith, to whom she will save later on in the movie.
When I watched this film again, they remind me of both Maria & Tony due to the fact that they are of different ethnicity and difficult complications arose when both parties declare war with each other.
During the fight between John Smith & Kocuum, the scene resembles to the Rumble between...

1. Forest dress
Hi there. Thanks for the positive feedback from this i will reply to each comment to say thanks or give my opinions on what you think. Today we will be discussing Princess Aurora from sleeping beauty, the last of the classic princess.

1. Forest dress
Unlike the first two she is not a slave, but must hide from malifecent in the forest. Her dress is a black top with grey sleeves, a black skirt and a black headband. Sometimes she will have a light brown head cover. Despite her bright blonde hair this is a dark dress for her but it fits well. It is a not a dress for a princess to though but that...

I just wanted to share a quick read on my top favorite sidekicks from DP movies. I enjoy sidekicks a lot in DP movies and they have such a heartfelt roles in most movies and beautiful relationships with the leads. They usually are given a good sense of humor or are such awesome friends. I mostly do love them all, but then ranking is always fun and here's my top 10.

10. Angus:
I totally adore him! he's innately bonded with Merida and as much as she enjoys being in wild and free, he does so too. I love how he plays on the mountain top, having fun all by himself by rolling. I love their chemistry...

Are you ready for redemption, Hans?
Are you ready for redemption, Hans?
Okay, an idea had just struck me. Since the sequel will be coming soon, here are my thoughts on why should Hans be redeem or not if he makes an appearance again.

He Should Redeem Himself

When I first watch the movie, I started to have a crush on him until he turn into the dark side. However upon being expose, he was arrested and ship back to the 7 Isles so that his brothers could punish him.
In Frozen Fever, he was doing community service until Elsa let out a giant snowball and hit him! I personally think that from that minor scene, I felt that he should redeem himself anyway, because he finally...

My final article in the wedding theme series is for the Revival Era princesses. I wish to extend this series to Disney heroines as well but I'm not sure right away, maybe i'll just do one with Anna and Elsa. Anyways, here are my thoughts on wedding ideas for our modern princesses.

Rapunzel: The Blooming Bride
Her sunny and cheerful disposition makes her a perfect spring bride. I'd love to give her a day wedding decorated with burst of wild blossoms, capturing her warmth and energy both. The air will be filled with a riot of fragrance and decor will host bright and joyful flowers in all shapes...
