"Phillip," Aurora took a deep breath in as she sat next to Philip in the forest, the forest which they had met in once upon a dream. "Yes my Sleeping Beauty," Philip responded laying his arm over her shoulders. She bit her lip, "When I was asleep, I've been having nightmares."
"What kind of nightmares?"

Aurora rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face, "Nightmares." Philip smiled, "You know what I mean, how terrifying would you say they were?" Aurora looked down in her hands and back up into Phillips eyes, "Beyond terrifying, perhaps it would need a more appropriate name. I was scared, like a baby lamb, with no family, in a lion cage. Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, they were kidnapped. You never came to rescue me, you were locked up. And Maleficent, she killed my Mother and Father. But, it was nightmare after nightmare, in the last one I could remember quite well, you, you did come at some point, though you we're poscessed by Maleficent, she was making you do strange things. I had awoken from my slumber, a woman helped me up. She was brunette, and she had hazel eyes. She was very beautiful, and then...you killed her. Whenever you're gone, I have dreams like this."

"Aurora, those are just nightmares. Don't worry, I'll be here with you." Philip smiled, but deep down he didn't remember what Aurora had said. "Sorry, Philip, I bet that was slightly too dramatic for you," Aurora linked her hand into Philip's and watched the sun set down with her head laying on his shoulder.

Meanwhile...

As the night raised up Maleficent lay dead in a trench, with the enchanted sword lying next to her. A green ball of light swirled down to Maleficent, then suddenly just like Cinderella's ball gown transformation, Maleficent formed to her true form bursting back with life. "Oh dear Tremaine, nice to see you again." Maleficent bent down to pick up the enchanted sword. "So, do you have the girl?" Tapping her fingers one by one against the sword. Tremaine smiled, "Yes, and she has the key to my magic."
"Bring her over her, I'd like to see her before her last minutes of life."
"Wait, she has something we want, we kill after we get it," Tremaine raised her brow with a smirk.

"Philip?" Aurora woke up in the middle of the forest alone, she rubbed her head and eyes. "I must have fallen asleep. Philip?" No one answered, "Philip?" She looked around, she didn't see any living creature. She flopped down in the grass with her hand upon her head crying, alone and forgotten. "...Hello? Is anyone out here?" called out an old woman voice. Aurora looked up, she recognized that voice, "Fauna? Is that you?" She hadn't seen the fairies since her seventeenth birthday, after they had left to spend their life helping animals. A green figure appeared in the distance, "Aurora? Oh Aurora! It's you!" As she came closer, she wrapped her arms around Aurora, "Aurora! It's great to see you! We've been missing you! This was an answer to our prayer. And oh my you've grown, eighteen years old?"
Aurora blushed and smiled, "Yes, I've been missing you too."
Fauna let go of Aurora, "Dearie, would you like to come inside?"
"I don't want to intrude. But thank you."
"Oh Hunny, you're not going to intrude, you're practically apart of the family."
Aurora grabbed Fauna's hand as they walked to the cottage.
Aurora sighed, "It's great to be back home!" She twirled around full of sunshine, "Wait, are Merryweather and Flora here Oh and have you seen Philip, he left me out side, alone. I must have fallen asleep."
"They'll be here any moment now, dear, they're out collecting berries, and no I haven't seen Philip anywhere," Fauna turned to the stove, returning to her cheaply made stew, "Oh, that's right, I can't cook. Would you help me please?"
"Oh I'd love to, Fauna!"
"How ride of me, I shouldn't ask a guest for help. Also, you should have time to reflect on where Philip may have gone."
"No, it would be my pleasure, I miss the old days. This was practically my life. And Philip will probably come searching for me and stumble upon this place," Aurora turned to the stove and opened the pot. The young brunette woman for her nightmares appeared in the gleaming of the stew. She looked like she was crying, banging on the door of a castle all alone, "What?!"
Fauna rushed over to Aurora, "Is everything alright?"
Aurora blinked, cringing and gripping her head, she reflected on her nightmares. Aurora then released and remembered what Philip said, "Those are just nightmares." Gazing at the pot, the young woman vanished.
"Aurora! Listen to me, is everything alright?"
"Oh, I'm very sorry, it was just déjà vu, I think."
"Would you like to take a seat?"
"No, I'm fine, thank you."
Fauna took over the stove, "Please, take a seat. For me, dearie."
Aurora crossed over to a couch near the unlit fire place, "I'd do anything for you."
Fauna blushed, "Awww, dear, I would do anything for you. Now, do you really think Philip left you all alone, or do you think he's doing something romantic?"
"He said he'd be there for me, you must be right. Do you think I should head home? It's getting dark out."
"Oh don't worry about a thing, you sleep tight, your parents will know you're here. Now rest your eyes, sweetie."

As Aurora dozed off, pots and pans rattled everywhere, "Fauna? Is everything alright over there?" There was no response. She slowly creeped over to the kitchen, Fauna was gone, "What? Where are you? Fauna, please, I do not want to play hide and seek!" The sound of breaking glass cracked behind Aurora. She rushed to see if Fauna were playing jokes, but instead, was broken glass covered in blood.

1. Congratulations on winning Fan of the Month! How do you feel?
I feel super honored, thank you!

2. Who is the most nostalgic Disney Princess for you and why?
This is a hard one — probably the ones I watched most as a kid, so Cinderella, Snow White and Belle.

3. Have you always loved the Disney Princesses?
Yes, I was obsessed with the Disney Princesses as a kid and I’d have to thank Anna and Elsa for bringing me back to Disney.

4. How did you find the Disney Princess spot?
I’d have to thank AudreyFreak for that. For a long time, I was so tired of everyone calling the Disney Princesses (especially...

A little quickie article on how I feel Moana would have been written if it was released pre-revival era. You know, before Disney became so OBSESSED with being subversive and different from their previous films.

Before I get into this, let me just tell y'all something, there's a difference between a cliche and convention. Having a love interest, a fully developed villain or a colorful cast of characters is not "cliche". Those are conventions, in other words, standard things that we've simply come to expect from certain genres of movies.

And if you really want to put some clever twist on these...

Afew days after the dinner party, Pocahontas, John and Merida all went home. They hated leaving, but at the same time, they were ready to get back. It took a while for Pocahontas and John to get home, but they made it back safely. Luckily, it only took Merida about 3 1/2 days to get back. As soon as she did, she went straight to caring for her mother. The funny thing is, The Queen often urged for her daughter to take breaks and do something she loved like shooting her bow. Pocahontas wanted to help out with her people as much as she could, but she was also urged to take breaks. As for the Li's,...
